KP169 Ground FL Beachside - Pool•AC•Ocean

Mahalo for checking out our unit with Kauai Island Homes!

IMPORTANT: The pool and hot tub at Poipu Athletic Club will be renovated Sept 9-Oct 15. Please do not book these dates if the pool and hot tub are important for your vacation.

Welcome to KP 169 at Kiahuna Plantation, a ground-floor condo in Building 26 with partial ocean views, a peaceful garden lanai, A/C in the living room and bedroom, beach gear, parking, and a 2-minute walk to Kiahuna Beach.

ITEMS TO NOTE: The entire Kiahuna Plantation Resort does NOT have elevators. If you have mobility issues, please reach out to us and we will direct you to a suitable property for your needs.

ISLAND LIVING

TROPICAL ENVIRONMENT

Kauaʻi is known as the “Garden Isle” for its lush, tropical landscape—and that beautiful environment is also home to a variety of insects and other island wildlife. Even with regular professional cleaning and pest-control treatments, guests may occasionally encounter geckos, ants, mosquitoes, roaches, or other tropical insects during their stay.

Many classic Hawaiian properties also feature jalousie (louvered) windows, which are designed to allow the trade winds and natural airflow into the home rather than creating the completely sealed environment of a modern hotel or resort.

We take great care in maintaining and cleaning our properties, but the occasional presence of tropical insects is a natural part of island living and is not necessarily an indication of cleanliness or a lack of pest control.

Fantastic condo. I didn’t realize when I booked that it was also partial ocean views. Very, very clean, easy check in and out. Much nicer area than expected and direct access to the beach.

Wonderful place to stay for your Kauai holiday!! The condo is super cute and well designed, feels like home away from home. Everything is within walking distance, the condo is fully stocked, the bed is comfy, super clean in a great environment. Has a nice private patio with a lot of sunlight. Great communication with the owners and host, they are on top of it to make sure we had everything and that everything was ok after we checked in. Highly recommend this wonderful place for stay in Kauai!!

Great Place to Stay At Kiahuna Plantation

Location was great with easy access to the unit and easy access to the beach. It is one of the closer units to the beach and lake. Check in and check out process was really easy, and the unit had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Babymoon

We stayed here for two nights but wish we had stayed longer. This is a perfect location with beach access and close to many restaurants. The place is clean and well furnished including beach chairs and an umbrella. We plan to return soon!

We had a lovely stay in this condo. Everything was great, good location, lots of extras (chairs, towels, snacks), comfortable beds! My kids said this was the best pull out couch they have ever slept on. My only note is that the condo upstairs must have thin or hard flooring, as we heard our upstairs neighbors every morning, quite loud. Not a big deal unless they are super early risers (they were) and you are not (we are, but they were extra early). Unavoidable in a ground floor condo and didn’t detract from our experience at all. Kiahuna is such an amazing place, would stay in 169 again!

Perfect location

The Kiahuna Plantation is a beautiful development with a wonderful beach, located right next to the Sheraton. The condo was nice except for the smell. When we walked in it smelled of mildew and despite spending a great deal of time trying to locate where it was coming from we could never identify the source and it remained throughout our stay. It’s humid in Kauai but this was a distinct odor that has something to do with the unit’s structure, possibly the AC unit. The shower needs updating, but the bed was comfortable. Overall a nice stay in a beautiful location.

Aloha. I’m originally from the east coast and moved to Kauai a few years back. Purchasing these condos and cleaning them personally for over a year was pure magic. I love traveling hence want to give you the amenities we love.

I recently left Kauai to marry my soulmate. I’m grateful I still get to live vicariously through our guests longing to return to the one of the most beautiful places on earth!

I'm now a licensed realtor with a spectacular team here to serve and enhance your vacation.

I hope you love how we host you . Mahalo!
