SAN LUIS PASS IS NOT A SWIMMING LOCATION:
This home is located near San Luis pass. It boasts incredible fishing. Tidal currents at the San Luis Pass are strong and dangerous so please be do not enter the water and always supervise your children.

To get access to the beach, go down Jolly Roger street and park in the small parking lot. There is a cart path to the beach.

Our home is a first row home. Although there is a home partially in front of us (more to our left) our view is still amazing. Since there are no homes completely in front of, or to the right of us, our view of the sunrise is unobstructed.

ELEVATOR USE - WHILE THERE IS A CARGO ELEVATOR AT THE HOUSE, OUR INSURANCE PROHIBITS US FROM MAKING IT AVAILABLE TO GUESTS. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE

Galvestons Great Get Away!!!

This was our perfect home away from home! It easily slept our growing family. With two little grandchildren, they were safe, entertained and so very happy!!!! The place was decorated beautifully!!! It was very clean with everything you could think of at your fingertips. The view was so nice, especially in the mornings! I have to give extra mention to the wonderful host!!! She was exceptional! She was easy to communicate and answered all questions and did everything to help us! We had a the Best time ever and enjoyed every second in her home.

Nestled in the right area

Me and my family enjoyed this area more than any other property we have stayed at. We were able to fish and go to the beach at the same time. Waking up to see the ocean view and even got a view of dolphins from the deck was the absolute best! We had everything we needed and more. One of the cleanest homes I’ve ever stayed at. Jaclyn was an amazing host. She made sure to stay in communication. Great time here!

My 18 yo only wanted to stay at the beach for her special birthday, and the whole family enjoyed this perfect spot on the beach. Great views and very relaxed. The house was well-appointed, and the host was helpful and prompt.

Exactly as described! Lovely stay!

Lovely home, just as described! We booked for a short weekend in January, and wish we would have stayed the whole week! The upstairs king bed is the most comfortable we have ever slept on. We loved the sturdy sliding wooden gate on the deck, too; great for young kids and/or pets. You can walk forever down the beach area in front and the sand is hard and easily walked on. SO SO many lovely larger seashells, too! We left a couple in the basket on the coffee table with the other shells. :) Such a great selection of interesting books on the bookshelf, too. Jaclyn was SO sweet and an extremely proactive and responsive host. We will definitely book this lovely spot again!

Fantastic Rental!

My husband, son, and I had a great stay!! It is a well stocked house in a very quiet/ relaxing neighborhood setting. The views from the deck were amazing!! The beach was great to walk with our dog, and we really enjoyed walking to the nearby food trucks for a quick meal (bbq, burgers.) It was a perfect after Christmas break, I would absolutely stay here again!!

The best experience we've had!

We rented this home for a quick stay so my husband could fish and my 80 year old mother could get a salt fix. This home was perfect!!!! The views were breathtaking! The house, itself, was perfectly furnished and incredibly clean. The beds were super comfortable! The owner was a dream to work with. We've rented VRBO homes before and this was, by far, one of our best experiences!! We had everything we needed. My husband was able to fish right outside our front door! Sitting on the front porch every morning and night watching the birds and the waves was a memory we'll always treasure! There's no doubt in my mind that we'll rent this home again!!!

Lovely getaway

Our family of seven ranged from ages 5-88 years old. We had a fantastic stay, and really enjoyed all the small touches. The house had everything we needed to make beautiful meals, frozen drinks, watch movies, and play games. It was the perfect getaway!

Great family trip

Great location and the street is very quiet with direct access in front of the house. The house was very clean and the pictures online were an accurate upon arriving. The owner was very responsive (less than 5 min) when we had a couple of questions during our stay. The main beach is a 3 min golf cart ride away if you want to go far out and swim.

Sweet EmOcean Paradise

Wow! What can I possibly say? Well, actually, I can say a whole lot of fantastic things about my family's marvelous stay at this wonderful slice of heaven right smack on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. 1. The house itself is well-appointed, neat, clean, organized, roomy, and setup perfectly to host a family vacation. 2. The beds are comfy and the amenities are top notch. 3. The outside deck overlooking the beach and the gentle waves below is out of this world for relaxing in either the sun or shade and the deck seating is plentiful & perfect for the house guests. 4. The property host communicates well if you need to reach-out for anything but also made the entire process so easy that we never really needed to do so. 5. The Location, Location, Location was exactly what we were looking for, as it was pretty convenient to lots of attractions and stores for supplies, while being nestled in a nice, quiet & friendly neighborhood setting. 6. We had an absolute blast and would rent this property again without hesitation! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Vacation Get Away

This house was perfect! Loved morning walks to the pass and back. Morning coffee on the balcony. And enjoyed the private balcony off the master suite. I wish we could have had more days. We walked to the beach everyday. Very safe for the teenagers to come and go. Neighbors very friendly. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need and labeled too. Very nice touch. Loved the location, plenty of room and plenty of parking. We will be back very soon.

Great Place!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the house was beautiful. We loved that there were beach chairs, towels and items to use. I will say the internet connection is not great, so although there are TVs in each room - you can't use them at all. We had kids with us and it rained one of our days, so we panicked until we found there was an large DVD collection under the living room TV which saved us from a boring rainy day :) Other than that we had a great time!

Wonderful relaxing stay

I just spent 5 days here with my kids (1-8yo) and parents. The house was so comfortable and relaxing. Just across the street from a small beach, so super easy to take kiddos to play in the water. While the neighborhood is a bit off the beaten path, it was exactly what we needed. Thanks for a true retreat away from it all!

Our stay

We had a blast. The owner was so easy to work with. We did have a few issues that were out of her control and she was very quick to make things right. We came back from the beach with a new kuerig on the porch. VRBO apparently took down the part where you have to walk 4 blocks to the beach. The beach view in front of the house is apparently dangerous for the kids to swim in. The neighborhood was nice. Like I said the owner tried everything to make it right and we chose to stay and we still had fun! This was our first time to the area. We came and we saw and we had fun and made memories! That’s what matters!

Great Spring Break!

We enjoyed our time at the house. The small beach directly in front of the property made it easy for our teens to play and enjoy the water while we kept an eye on them from the deck. We will be back!
