Americans in the Marais, Paris!
We greatly enjoyed the apartment, its location to the metro, boulangerie and numerous cafes/restaurants all within 10-15 min walk from the apartment. Our communication with Olivier before our arrival was easy, he met us at the apartment with some instruction, and we instantly enjoyed the apartment. The bedroom sizes were big by Parisian standards, and there was ample closet space with plenty of hangers with hanging shelves (there were not any dressers to place clothes in). Having access to the washer/dryer was great (although I had to call Olivier to figure out how to operate it, but he responded quickly!) I would say the only 'issue' was the bathroom/shower area. The bathroom could use some shelving on the walls, and the shower itself could use some shelving as it was difficult to move around the shower and had to leave our toiletries on the shower floor. The view over the courtyard was great and quiet, but the neighborhood itself is fairly quiet as well. Overall, this apartment is an excellent choice for value and ease, and we would stay here again if given the chance!
