We loved the private beach access that was in a cove with less wind! The home was nice, clean, and had beautiful views. Plus the hot tub was great to use. And the hosts always answered our questions before and when we were there.

It’s a million dollar view. Very beautiful and comfortable. Hope to stay again. The master shower needs some work and I would be more than happy to come stay and help with maintenance and repairs.

Place was clean, location quite, only draw back was the house next door was almost right on top of you.They could see into living room and we could see right into their kitchen.

Awesome place, very clean and well complimented, awesome view from the yard. The house next door so close and looking into the living room should be mentioned along with the hot tub being 20’ from the nextdoor driveway with no privacy screen

Thank you for your review. I will post a photo of the 10’x 7’ fence and 2 massively overgrown bushes immediately next to the hot tub on the north side (“driveway”). The south and west side is open to the amazing view, clear to Crescent City California!

We went mid-late June. This was the perfect affordable fit for our family of six. And it offers so much! This beachy bungalo is bright and charrming, even when it is overcast outside. We were welcomed with fresh-cut roses in the kitchen. And fun decor. The table tennis was an unplanned for joy for the kids. We enjoyed the hot-tub after long days exploring the redwoods and beaches. The washer and dryer are new SpeedQueens, it was was wonderful to be able to pack all six of us with minimal luggage into one vehicle for our trip to Brookings. And I appreciate a bathtub option, even if it is small. The occasional 30 minutes of the gas fireplaces were all we ever needed for a little morning heat We met the neighbors above us who were helping maintain the beach access. They were so nice and friendly, They didn't mind us pulling up our chairs on their lawn to enjoy the amazing view of the ocean. The private beach is a very short walk. It has tide pools and is pristine. It was my favorite. It does have a coarse sand, I would recommend a tub with water to dip your feet in before you go into the house.

This was such a charming home. They had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and well laid out instructions for any features in the home. The view was truly spectacular and we truly enjoyed our time there. We will definitely recommending this stay to friends and family as well as hopefully getting to book another stay in the future ourselves!

Beautiful beach view! We loved the private beach access as well as the hot tub on the deck. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d stay here again if ever in the area.

The refrigerator is very loud - needs repair or replacement.And the kitchen could have been stocked better, but otherwise everything was fine

Thank you or taking the time to leave your review. You are correct in that the kitchen only supplies what is listed under the listing, which indeed is minimmal in regard to spices and other ingredients. Unfortunately, some kitchen items, cuttlery and pans have left with our guests. I am a frequent visitor to our home and I am pretty sure the "noise" to which you refer is the "brown noise" of the hot tub. For sanitation reasons, the hot tub water has to circulate at all times which results in an intermitttent low hum. The refrigerator is not making a noise exept for ice dropping when the icemaaker is on. Thank you for your note. Catherine

Wonderful property! The house was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed right down to a portable crib and high chair for my granddaughter. The beach was easily accessible for our group and the wild life we saw daily was worth the trip to it each time. The views are amazing and Mike and Cathy are very gracious hosts. Highly recommend staying with them!

Yes, the hot tub had a filter issue that I didn't realize and that lowered the computer/thermostat/temperature and it has taken a week just to get parts. It is now heating perfectly. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Beautiful views and a great getaway

We absolutely loved our stay. The home was clean and all the amenities are as described. A short drive to the California redwoods and various coastal sites along the 101.

Thank you Tami for taking the time to review our home. I'm sorry the internet didn't work for you. It worked prior to your visit and after your visit and we did not receive a message of an outage. When I personally have trouble with login it is because the initial connection can be slow but thereafter it functions fine.

Mike is from Oregon and so we came to Medford 30 years ago to raise our sons. One of our favorite family outings as the boys grew up was to go to Brookings, camp at the beach and get up (very) early and go fishing. Our guys would get so seasick, but they would keep on fishing for those big salmon and red snapper! Sometimes we would camp in the Redwoods, drift down the Smith River in an inner tube, or get up early for more fishing! Some days we would take a picnic to Harris Beach and our hearty guys would surf, climb the rocks, talk to the seals and explore tide pools. In 2003 we were blessed with an opportunity to buy our awesome ocean front home which seemed too good to be true! Now our family, friends and visitors enjoy a MUCH more comfortable way to make wonderful memories!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Two words: "Chetco Effect"! Our home is not only right on the ocean, it enjoys balmy summer weather with warmer temperatures unlike ANY other on the Oregon coast (called 'the Chetco effect')! It is a wonderful escape from 'valley fog' in Medford, even when it is raining in Brookings! We have a beach that is accessed only by ourselves and our neighbors because it has two large rock outcroppings where folks cannot easily access. People are friendly and there is lots to do, which unfortunately keeps us out of the lawn chair! It is a safe, low crime community with clean air and lilly fields, and there is all that wonderful FISH and crab!

Laying on the deck watching the ocean is probably our favorite, but there is rock climbing, tide pools, beach bonfires, boating, biking, wading, golf ~ and did I mention fishing and crabbing??
