Lovely property with aptly described gorgeous view of the oceanfront and beach access. The property is spacious with all the space my mother, wife, and our three children could need. We enjoyed several walks on the beach, beautiful sunsets, and movies with the ocean in the background. Redwoods are a quick 30 minute drive away. I recommend Grove of the Titans. Brookings is a nice town with lots of little shops and restaurants. Locals were very friendly.

Great location - loved the deck and ocean front view. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen. IMHO the electronic lock brand is very problematic. We had 4 adults who all have elec locks at home and we had constant difficulty getting into the house. The property manager was pretty abrupt when we were checking in, and had to send someone out another time to assist.

Awesome beachfront vacation spot!

If you like long walks on the private beach, beautiful sunsets and the ability to cook a meal, this VRBO is for you. We had a great time. Minutes to the Harbor, but very private deck and beach. Having a second master with a king bed would be better instead of 2 queens in my opinion so that two families could split the rather high cost. Other than that, very relaxing. I almost brought my own propane fire table for night time enjoyment, which would have been perfect. Hint, hint???

Spectacular view

The view was amazing. The house was on a cliff overlooking the ocean with white water views. There are tide pools in walking distance and the rocks in the water make a picturesque view. The stairs to the beach are sturdy and well constructed. We made it down easily, but it is steep. The deck was really amazing. The house was comfortable and clean. Will stay here again

Early Christmas Getaway

It was wonderful to return to Pelican Path. Our friends had not been before. They thought the home was cozy and the view was like no other beach home they had stayed in before. We were all comfortable and quite happy.

Wonderful getaway with our grandkids

This house was wonderful! We had an amazing time and all we could talk about was that we need to come back here soon. Our grandchildren loved being on the beach all day and it was so nice to pretty much have the beach to ourselves. The kitchen has everything that you need and then some. Plenty of towels and bedding. Very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back soon.

Nice beach house!

We really enjoyed the stay. The deck view, ocean waves noise, and stairs down to the beach were amazing. Lots of nice homie touches in the home. It's an older home with radiant heating, some missing window coverings on non-bedroom windows, but nicely remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. One of the beds in the loft is of poor quality, but only a concern of you plan to use all the beds.

Wonderful house!

We arrived at the house at 4 o’clock. Our check in time and the housekeeper was still cleaning, but was very nice and we were able to kill some time and head straight down to the beach. Even though they were 88 steps to get there, it didn’t seem like it and the beach was spectacular. The house was Nicely decorated and the bathrooms were newly remodeled. We wish that we had booked one extra night because the weather was perfect and the views from the house were spectacular. Very kid friendly, and the kitchen was stocked with everything that you needed. I will definitely be coming back for another vacation

Prime Oregon Coast

Fantastic location of this property have brought us well needed relaxation. Kids and adults enjoyed many walks at the beach and curious finds of different ocean creatures during low tides, kids played with the abundance of drift wood and variety of rocks. At the house, small pool table "bumper ball" was a hit with the pre-teens and kids, even some adults. Three bedrooms and multiple beds provided planty of sleeping places. Of course the living room, kitchen and wrap around porch is above any expectations of beautiful view one encounters every minute through change of light at the sea during the day and night. We are looking forward to stay here again. Highly recommend it 😊

This was a beautiful, quiet location and a beautiful property with plenty of space to stretch out for the 5 of us. We used this location as a somewhat centralized location to visit redwoods, beaches, Crater Lake, and other site seeing opportunities. Was easy to get to. Tasty food nearby. And we even went to the pound one day to buy prawns, fish (steelhead and tuna), and some calamari steak. The kitchen was more than suited to do this with a great working dishwasher for cleanup. Beach at the property was right down a set of stairs and there was a lot of beach to explore. Waves sounded all night and you could open doors and windows up during the day to get a nice breeze thru the house. We thoroughly enjoyed to cool fresh air.

Beautiful Brookings/Harbor

We come to the Brookings/Harbor area once a year. It's one of our favorite places in the world! We've stayed at a few Vrbo properties over the years but this one is pretty spectacular. The views are just absolute amazing! I mean stunning! The house is cozy, but large and the teen boys loved the upstairs room. The bumper pool table was also a huge hit with them.The bathrooms and kitchen are recently remodeled and look great! Beds are very comfy too! Overall it's a great house. I think if the interior wooden walls were painted white it would really brighten up the house..just a suggestion. The stairs to the beach are a trek but the beach is worth it. We collectively agree that we love this place and will be back to stay again!

Heaven in the view!

Wow! What a spectacular view from the rooms of this home. The ocean scenery was magnificent beauty. The kitchen area was nicely remodeled and open to the gathering areas of the front room. The entire front wall of the home is all windows so you have a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean. There was plenty of room in this home for all of us. We especially liked the privacy off the road and having our own area to park in. It was such fun to stay here so close to the beach with it's own staircase to the beach below. Again, it was very private and quiet...Barbara with the Rental Property Business was very nice and easy to work with. We can't wait to rent this property again.

Very Happy With This Stay

We loved the home and the location. My only issue was contacting the "HOST" in my VRBO email folder. 3-4 days before our trip I emailed the host 3 times and they never responded. So then I called the number they left me last month when they didn't respond. I left a voicemail message but no calls :( I have been using VRBO for 15+ years and never had the host ignore my messages :( Also you need to update your home information. When we booked it had a gas BBQ. But when we arrived it wasn't there. We did find a propane tank in the garage and bought some charcoal so we could bbq our food. The home itself was absolutely amazing and contacting the property manager via their numbers they left were very good when I called.

Stunning 180 degree view from the deck!

Entering this home, I was amazed by the expansive floor to ceiling windows occupying one wall that afforded an incredible view of the water. Light flooded in the windows creating a sparkling clean room. The area was open concept with 2 eating areas, a comfortable sitting area, a game table, and an updated kitchen. A shelf unit included movies, books and a TV. The kitchen included stainless steel appliances, lovely marbled granite and all of the smaller appliances, like coffee maker and toaster that are needed. The kitchen island was convenient and included stools perfect for a quick meal. Upon walking into the master bedroom, my eyes were riveted on the corner floor to ceiling windows where I could gaze along the boulder strewn coast. The melted copper sunsets were astonishing and this was a perfect place to watch the sun descend. The room included a king size bed, a couch, plenty of dresser space and an en suite bathroom with tub and shower. The second bedroom also afforded an ocean/sunset view through a very large window. This bedroom included 2 full size beds, and a bathroom/laundry room attached. There was a large upstairs room with 3 or 4 beds and yet another full bath. Since we only walked up once, I cannot remember specifics. The house included a convenient garage. Saving the best to last, the deck was most definitely "the best room in the house." It was a massive deck which ran the entire length of the back of the house. When I walked out, I was astonished by the spectacular view. I felt like I was ensconced on the prow of a boat gliding through the blue waters of the Pacific and the panoramic vista was mesmerizing. The 180 degree view kept me on the deck for many hours watching the waves devour the massive rocky boulders. The deck included tables and chairs and other chairs were available in the garage. A bank of wooden an stone steps gave access to a lovely curved beach. The home was clean and well-maintained. I will definitely return and will recommend the home to my friends.

Very welcoming and warm house with amazing ocean and beach views. Great picture windows! The house was clean with everything we needed, beds very comfortable, updated bathrooms, big deck, and fireplace for winter nights. The steps down the beach made for easy access. We will definitely come back for another stay!

We are an active family now living in California but spending our free time at our family beach house on the beautiful southern Oregon coast.

Our family was originally from the Medford area and we grew up vacationing at the Oregon coast. The appeal of the southern Oregon coast keeps us dedicated to vacationing here. We don't feel there is a more beautiful coast line and it has none of the California crowds. It is also close to several nationally recognized redwood forests and to the renowned wild and scenic Rogue River. So we get it all...ocean views, beautiful redwood hikes, and lots of river adventures!

We think you will agree, our wonderful beach house really showcases the Oregon coast in a memorable way. Because it sits out on a bluff overlooking the ocean below, you loose sense of any other houses surrounding you - it is just you and the ocean views. The house offers one of the largest decks, with tons of room for your family and guests to sprawl in the sun overlooking the Oregon coast. Our private staircase leaves directly from the deck and takes you straight down to the sand. The house is located only about 1 mile from the harbor, which keeps you close to the town and restaurants. In fact, at low tide you can walk the length of the beach to the harbor for some ice cream! Lastly, with our 3 large bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, we can offer your family and friends plenty of private space too! There are very few places where you can actually fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves; this is one of them! Come experience the Oregon coast first-hand!
