Welcome to 26 Port Tack, a versatile home designed for modern living. With a dedicated home office and a spacious layout, it's perfect for homeschooling and remote work. Recently updated, it now boasts a brand-new pool, spa, and deck with tranquil lagoon views.
Inside, you'll discover open and airy spaces with vaulted ceilings and skylights. Hardwood and tile flooring enhance the common areas, while plush carpeting adds comfort to the bedrooms.
Three bedrooms are conveniently located down the hallway, with the master offering direct access to the deck and pool. Its en-suite bathroom boasts dual sinks, a skylight, an updated shower, and a relaxing soaker tub. The two guest bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds and the other with a queen bed, share an adjoining bathroom. The home features a Carolina room with a sleeper sofa and a discreet Murphy bed in the office area, providing flexible living arrangements.

I wouldn’t book this home

The home had clearly not been prepared for our arrival despite booking this months in advance. The pool and hot tub were moldy green, not treated and clearly not cared for, the grounds maintenance itself not maintained well. we did a lot cleanup to ensure it was decent for all family arriving. We lost water twice during our stay, couldn't flush toilets amongst other issues. The Vacation Rental property Rental Escapes who oversees this property did move us to a different home on day 2 of our 5 day stay with all the ongoing issues we encountered. I would never book this home rental/nor would I recommend it.

Better than photos!

The house and especially the pool are much better than the photos depict! There is also a nice seating area and umbrella on the deck that I don’t remember seeing a picture of before booking. The pool is bigger than I expected and closer to the house than the pictures make it seem. The house has a very nice flow to the floor plan. It was also really nice to be able to store our rented bikes in the garage. We stayed here with another family and there was just enough space in the house to where we could spread out and do separate things, but not so much space that we could lose the 2 year old. We loved that there were enough fans for each room for white noise! We rented bikes and it was a very short and easy ride to the beach. We rented the child carrier on the back of one of the bikes to help transport umbrellas and beach bags. The dock was not appropriate for fishing. There were a lot of turtles that hung out right by the dock and would definitely get caught on a line if tried to fish. The dock is on a small pond, not one of the channels that leads to larger bodies of water. The pond made a nice view from the back and made the house feel private. This house was perfect for our two families and I would definitely stay here again!
