'RIVER HAVEN' is a serene riverside cabin on the Rogue River

Our clean, rustic style cabin is a tranquil setting on the Rogue River, a perfect spot for bird watching ( Eagles, Ospreys and so many bird and duck varieties) and fishing (salmon, steelhead). Dine al fresco on the large wrap around deck. There is a large grassy lawn with a shallow walk- in beach on the river. The deck is completely surrounded with a fence with gates for child safety. The home is fully furnished with every comfort and amenity one could wish for, including BBQ and fire pit. Just 5 minutes drive to all the amenities of Shady Cove. This is a perfect spot to enjoy the many hiking trails, or relax at one of the nearby wineries. Historic Crater Lake and Ashland's famous Shakespeare Festival are just 45 minutes away. Come and enjoy!

Wonderful river access. It was a fun place for our grandkids to play and for the family to enjoy the outdoors. We had a fabulous time and definitely will be back.

We had a lovely week long stay. A peaceful and gorgeous setting. Every amenity possible is provided in the home, including everything one needs for preparing delicious meals. The beds and sitting areas were very comfortable and there are river views from every room. To be on the river, to experience the woods, the river, the wildlife and jumping fish made for a very good week.We were there in mid September and the fresh fruit and vegetables locally available were amazing. The pizza place in Shady Cove, owned by a generous and hospitable woman, is our favorite pizza anywhere! Seriously delicious homemade pizza with a fantastic crust. We enjoyed a half day of floating down the Rogue.

The RIVER HAVEN was absolutely perfect!It was fully equipped, right on the river - and falling asleep to that perfect sound was just heaven!I cannot recommend it more highly, and thank the owners for making it available to all!

Beautiful, peaceful and clean river house. We absolutely loved it! Beautiful view, high end bedding and decor, thoughtful touches throughout. Probably one of the best rentals we have stayed in. You can get all your food in shady cove, the fishing hole has great sandwiches. This place is great we highly recommend. Very very clean and well stocked kitchen.

Awesome stay at River Haven

We had a great time at River Haven. The accommodations were perfect and the kitchen was well equipped. The view off the deck couldn’t be beat. Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Weekend

We had a great stay at River Haven! It was so cozy and inviting inside and even with the smoke in the air, it was still nice to sit out by the river and relax. Highly recommend and will stay again if in the area!

Lovely cabin on the rogue

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very relaxing to sit on the deck after a day of hiking. Plenty of beautiful hikes in the area as well as some wineries.

We had a great experience overall. Everything worked well, and the home was easy to access. It had a very relaxed, comfortable feel and included all the basic amenities you need for some R&R.The local cat was pretty cool, too! The beds were really soft and comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep.One thing to note: the covered parking mentioned in the book on the counter is no longer actually covered, as the tarp has worn away. This wasn’t a big deal, though, because you can park very close to the home. There are residences on both sides, and we had no security concerns.Overall, this place is a great value and has basically everything you need for a relaxing stay. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it.

Cute place!

My family of 5 had a great stay here. Beautiful views and fully stocked kitchen. Vicky was quick to respond. We attended a wedding at rogue river lodge and it was a perfect location.

Our stay at River Haven was wonderful. The house is perfect. It is clean, cozy, and has everything a traveler might need. We visited Crater Lake, floated the Rogue River, and spent every evening enjoying the lovely decks at the house overlooking the river. We thoroughly enjoyed River Haven.

Great Riverside Location

We fished right off the bank and enjoyed the firepit in the evening. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. We especially liked the awesome deck and birds. Great, responsive owner!

Relaxing get away

This property was awesome, beds were great, view of the Rogue River was so relaxing. Vicki, the owner, responded quickly to our inquiries regarding our reservations. The property lived up to all of our expectations, I would highly recommend this property.
