Lovely property, clean quarters

Love that so much was included in this rental space! Utensils, beach chairs, umbrella, basic cleaning materials, etc. the property is very convenient. Only $10 for parking pass for entire stay. The wharf is walking distance. The pool is clean. 6 minute drive to the beach. Pretty quiet building. The balcony is peaceful facing the golf course. The only downfalls were a few overlooked things as far as cleaning. Things appeared overall very clean, but dresser and tv stand were covered in dust. Someone else’s vitamins were under the bathroom vanity. Stains on the couch and some dishes in the pantry were dirty. Floors were very clean though especially considering how much sand can be brought in by the beach. Linens were also very clean! I would still highly recommend this space. Very enjoyable stay!

Very color coordinated in different shades of blue, and has all of the necessary equipment, even 2 different coffee makers - Keyring and regular drip (bring your own coffee you like). Location is great - pretty pool is just few steps away, Village is a 5-minute walk for bay fishing or just hanging out for different activities. I took tram few times to the beach - very convenient, easier than in your car (same time, and do not need to find parking spot on a beach lot). Building has two types of parking - underground and a street lot. I used the street, after headache of trying to fit into tiny spots in between pillars and other vehicles.Two grocery stores few miles away - Publix and Walmart.Had issues with internet connection one time, prompt reply from Gibson rep recommended to reset modem. It worked.Recommend Gibson. Will try to come back some day to this or other their properties.

Enjoyable

Condo was perfect for what we needed. Kitchen was equipped with everything known possible. Very clean, awesome amenities, difficult to navigate the property without some sort of map. But after day #1, the confusion gets easier. Baytown Wharf is amazing for young families. Great kids activities, shopping, dining, and views. Not sure about access to a golf cart, as we didn’t need it.

Great little getaway

Condo was clean, check-in was super easy. Kitchen has everything you need.Loved how close it is to Baytowne Wharf, also explored several beaches in the area. It was our first time to this area of Florida and we liked it a lot. Lots of stores and restaurants in the area.

Highly Recommend this Unit and Gibson Beach Rentals

Unit was very clean and looked exactly as it did in the pictures. Very easy to get ahold of someone when needed (I text them). We absolutely loved the resort and will be back. The only thing that would have made it better would have been blinds or curtains in living room and on patio door (son slept on sofa bed and the sun would wake him up EARLY). But honestly that wouldn’t keep us from going back. It’s definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed.

Elation at Baytowne

We stayed in the Elation at Baytowne Wharf, which was a different experience for our family. We usually stay on the beach or within walking distance. Overall, the experience of our stay was good. The rental was clean, updated furnishing and came equipped with almost everything we needed. I loved the kitchen included food storage containers for leftovers (something other rentals have not provided). Although the listing indicated a hair dryer was provided, it was not included (which was disappointing because we didn't pack ours). Also, this rental included Xplorie. We booked the Sea Blaster and participated in the Baytowne Adventure activities, which saved us over $100. It included free movie rentals too, but the rental didn't provide a DVD player. While free Wi-Fi was provided, we could never locate the Wi-Fi network for this specific rental. A few more things we loved, Elation is within walking distance to the Baytowne Wharf where there is food, shopping and activities. While there is a tram that takes you to the beach for these properties, the beach was packed. Toward the end of our stay, we opted to drive to a public beach where it was much less congested (surprisingly). Now, we had a series of unfortunate events as a result of the Gibson Beach Rentals. Our door was not locked upon arrival. The door itself doesn't lock when you leave, so it became an inconvenience each time we left our room to get it to actually lock. The day of our arrival we left to get our groceries, upon return we couldn't access our rental. I contacted Gibson Beach Rentals after-hours line and spent 23 minutes on the phone (all while we had cold and frozen groceries). They said the rental was not managed by Gibson Beach Rentals. I was escalated to a supervisor and was assured they had the most recent list of rentals and this property was not on the list. Unfortunately, they had to refuse to help us. My husband was able to determine it may have been due to the batteries. Fortunately with the help of a neighbor, they were able to get into the battery compartment to move around the batteries enough for the door to open. Lastly, our tram pass didn't include the correct rental number. When we were questioned by the tram driver, she said it must include the correct rental number. She said she would go ahead and get us to the beach and allow us keep the pass (which normally she would have been required to confiscate), but likely another driver will not allow us to ride tram.
