A fully modeled home overlooking Mississippi River in a charming river town.

You are invited to enjoy this home with family and friends. A full remodeled (2025)kitchen, two family areas, a game room, four bedrooms, a non-conforming bunk room, and four bathrooms make it the perfect place to connect indoors or become your launch pad to the driftless area of Trempealeau.
Main Level: Enter the home on the main level that opens up into a great room that includes a full sized kitchen with quartz countertop, coffee station, living room, and dining room. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms are on this main level. The full deck overlooking the river is perfect for morning coffee or evening dinners. expandable exterior patio table for your convenience.
Lower Level: The lower-level includes a TV/Family room, a bedroom, the non-conforming bunk room, ping-pong game room, toys for the kids and a full bathroom.
Our favorite things to do in and around Trempealeau include:
The Trempealeau Hotel- Restaurant, bar, live music and a full garden to enjoy this sleepy river town (1 block away).
Perot State Park- Enjoy migrating birds, Brady's Bluff hike, canoe rentals and more (about 1 mile away)
Elmaro Vineyard- This charming vineyard is a favorite! Go for flight tastings and walk through the vines. They are family friendly and have non-alcoholic options and light fair as well. (5.5 miles away- 10 minutes)
Ferguson's Orchards- A beautiful (and fun) place to pick your apples. This orchards includes a full fall festival including hay climbs, animals, wagon rides, and more.
Bike rides on the rails to trails.

Great property. Quiet little town. We were thankful to be able to get into the home warlier than the designated check in time. We enjoyed our stay very much! The home had all the appropriate ammenities. Would recommend some deeper cleaning. My kids found items in each of the top bunks and dirty socks and garbage under a couch cushion in the lower level.

In town for a bonspiel at the Centerville Curling Club. Perfect place to rest up. Plenty of room and upgraded amenities.

From the views of the Mississippi to the hiking trails and the vineyards, this property is an ideal location. It was a magical setting for our group.

Annual Sibling Getaway

Lots of space, beautiful view of the river and great location. House provided everything we needed for our stay. The impromptu ping pong tournament was a hoot.

Sisters and niece weekend getaway

This house was perfect for the six of us. Well furnished and great layout. Great views of the Mississippi River, just minutes from Parrot State Park and a nice winery. Only 15 minutes from LaCrosse. I highly recommend this house!

Great spot!

We had a great stay! The house is comfy and located in a very walkable location. Saw lots of bald eagles from the back patio. Easy check in & out.

boxcar buffoons return to Lacrosse

pretty much the same bunch of 30 m idiots that went a couple years ago. Had another great time. Highly recommend Cat Daddies bar down by the dam.

Beautiful home

This home was amazing and every aspect made the weekend so special. We were visiting to celebrate our parents’ anniversary and the house was a great spot for our group of 9. Spacious enough for comfort, and plenty of places for us to play games, talk, and relax. All in all we could not recommend this place enough. It has a fantastic view of the river to enjoy the scenery as well!

Fun Getaway

We (9 friends ranging from 53-81 years old, coming from 5 midwest states) enjoyed our stay in Trempealeau. The house was comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities. We enjoyed the local supperclub and downtown was only 1 block away.

Girls weekend

House was just as described. Very clean. Exceptional views of the river. Excellent internet connection. We enjoyed the open kitchen/living room/dining room area, nice to he able to continue conversations while cooking.

Family friendly vacation home

Great time with family (ages 3 -60). Plenty of room for everyone. Evenings spent on the deck watching Mississippi River, playing ping pong, bean bags, and 3 year old loved watching the trains. Great location, friendly town.

Fathers Day family long weekend

We enjoyed the areas attractions and atmosphere. Biking, hiking and fishing are all nearby. The Elmaro winery is 10-15 minutes away and was a pleasant experience with great views of the vineyard. The lock and dam can be seen from the house and it provided occasional entertainment as the tugs pushed barges through the chamber.

Fantastic Siblings Trip

Three siblings and spouses. House was perfect for us. Lots of space and fantastic view of the river. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Very clean.

Close to the winery

We came for a wedding and found this property. It worked great for our group. The owner was responsive and the property manager did a check in to make sure we had what we needed. We would stay again for sure! It was nice to sit in the deck and watch the barges on the river.

Nice place to stay in Trempealeau WI

We are 4 adult men who were participating in a local curling bonspiel. Used this VRBO in lieu of a hotel. Ended up being a great choice as a couple of our wives were able to join us. Very comfortable house with lots of space and good kitchen, bedroom and bathroom facilities. Nice deck overlooking the Mississippi with an excellent restaurant within easy walking distance.

Perrot Park, Elmaro winery, Trempealeau hotel, Trempealeau marina, numerous bike paths (we like to bike to Lacrosse), Trempealeau pool, Sullivans restaurant, cross country skiing in Perrot Park or downhill skiing in Lacrosse, river access and river views and fishing are a few of the numerous things we enjoy about Trempealeau.

Guests always enjoy the Mississippi River views from the large deck on river side of home. You are on 2nd Street and there is one row of houses between you and river, but there is no view obstruction as this home is elevated (see pictures). You are able to watch river traffic (boats and barges) on the river. You can also get a view of lock and dam #6. The rolling hills are a nice backdrop to river views.
