College/Friends Annual Gathering.

WSU Class of '74 friends/4 couples. We have gathered approximately 40 years since starting,missing only 3 consecutive years due to ... Covid. We all agreed our stay was great, we'd come back. Very nice ,enjoyed our time together here. Thank you , Samantha!

Outstanding

The Village House Inn is all that is described and more! The house is in outstanding condition for its age, impeccably decorated, very clean, and moist of all welcoming to all who enter. Our group of four couples were extremely happy with our stay there. The owner communicated very well with us and answered all questions, including a recommendation of where to eat--Sliced for a casual dinner before our Winona River Boat Cruise, which we would also recommend to visitors. Village House is in a quiet neighborhood even though near a highway. We give this a 5 out of 5 stars for everything! Village House is a great place for all who come--including comfortable beds, private bathrooms, and everything you need to feel at home. OUTSTANDING!

Friends get together

Beautiful home with very nice furnishings. It offers plenty of indoor seating as well as a comfortable outdoor patio. Finding a home with multiple en-suite rooms worked well for a group of gals :)

Great Place

Perfect for our group of four couples for our sibling reunion. Nice gathering areas. There is a moderate amount of road noise, but it is not an issue.

Gathering for Our Mom's Memorial

Most of our family grew up in Winona and gathered at our mom's house. She passed away last September so we needed a place to stay. The Village House Inn was PERFECT! It is a beautiful place with a large gathering space and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a chance to share meals and memories and it was a wonderful setting to do that.

A clean, comfortable, well-appointed house

This house can sleep a lot of people and also has adequate room for them to socialize in multiple seating areas. It is spotlessly clean and in great condition. Highly recommend.

Amazing Property and Hosts

This may rank as our favorite stay yet. The house is impeccably maintained and furnished, as well as beautiful and full of character. We stayed here with three other couples when we visited our college sons (who are roommates). The house is absolutely IDEAL for groups. Every bedroom has its own bathroom (INCREDIBLE) and there are multiple common spaces in which to congregate. The grill was a huge plus for our meals. The neighborhood was perfect for walking. We can't wait to stay here again!

Best VRBO

This was about the 10th time I have stayed at this property; family and girls weekends. It is by far the best place we have ever stayed. My sister-in-law said she wishes she could relocate this house every time we need a VRBO stay any where! Thank you!

They though of everything

Lots of indoor and outdoor living spaces including a patio, porch, a little library, a living room and a sitting room / study. The beds where comfortable and the bathrooms stocked with all the necessities. The kitchen had everything we needed including coffee and tea. There were games, movies and books for the kids. I'm sure we'll be back

Sisters weekend

Fabulous… beautiful property, well stocked kitchen, plenty of space, indoors and out, for gathering or individual space. We have been gathering for our sisters’ weekend for many years. This might be our favorite!

Family wedding with baby and toddler

This home is wonderful. It is spotlessly clean and has multiple amenities. The gathering spaces are great. We loved the outdoor patio. The beds are comfortable and the attached bathrooms were wonderful since we all needed to get ready for a family wedding. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. The neighborhood is cute and I’d say the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a gem. The communication was excellent and we appreciated the responsiveness We have stayed in many short term rentals in the past 7 years. This one is a definite 5 star for sure👏

Labor Day Getaway

Spent Labor Day weekend with extended family. The place was exactly as advertised. Especially liked a bathroom for each couple! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The only negative was the highway noise was noticeable, particularly the first night there. Easily got used to it by the second night!

1971 High School Girls Reunion

There are always between 7-10 of us. Plenty of space for sleeping. Plenty of bathroom's. Beautiful home/Inn. Quiet surroundings. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of seating so we can always sit together as a group. Highly recommended by our whole group!

My nephew was getting married at St. Mary's University and this house worked great as a place to stay for our two adult children and their spouses and our year old grand daughter. Patio was a great place to hang out day and evening..

Graduation Weekend

Rented the house for we think the 4th or 5th time. The house was definitely a highlight of the celebration- multiple generations got to sit around the dining room table playing games, talking and celebrating a recent graduate. Another fabulous time.

Great getaway for a knitting retreat

Great stay!
