Great place to stay

I enjoyed my time here. I loved the retro style, perfect for a home built in 1965. Very comfortable. Very clean. The pool made it even better.

Weekend getaway

Perfect for a couple. Very quiet and peaceful location. We loved walking into town for dinner. The homes are so cute in the area. Mt Dora is such a charming town!

Cute, comfortable and convenient!

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 day stay. Downtown and the Lake are walkable, and the pool is an added bonus. Also, great communication with the host! Thank you - hope to be back!

Mattress on bed needs replacing. Ramp going into bathroom should have some anti-slip strips on floor

Overall we enjoyed the unit, pool and location.

Cute place, comfortable bed, nice shower. We walked downtown to restaurants and shopping...lots to do. Unfortunately the pool was not heated & too cool in Feb to use it. Could have used some drawers to put clothes in. Otherwise great! Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect

My daughter and I stayed here for four nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The pool was so amazing and the communication with the host was absolutely wonderful. She was so helpful with everything. The studio is very nice and so cute. I enjoyed seeing all of the artwork, and it was close enough to walk to downtown Mount Dora. We highly recommend.

Lovely night in Mount Dora

My family of 3 spent one night at the pool house while we were in town for a concert. I think if we had more people or a longer stay, it would have begun to feel cramped. However, this was perfect for what we needed. The walk to town and back was easy. Jessica left a helpful list of restaurants and things to do. The Brewery and Sunday farmers market were top of the list. If we ever return to Mount Dora, I'd stay here again!

Pet Friendly Pool House with Private Pool

My husband and I stayed at this retro designed pool house with our dog for two nights. The decor was adorable, the neighborhood was quiet and close to the shops and restaurants, and the space was clean and well stocked. The private pool was the highlight of our trip! The host provided outstanding communication as well as a nice email with suggestions on her favorite restaurants and things to do in Mt. Dora. I would definitely recommend this property for a couple staying in the area. Thank you, Jessica!

Great place to stay over New Year's Eve

We recently stayed at the Poolhouse in Mount Dora for a quick New Year's Eve getaway, and we were very pleased with the accommodations. The place was cute with retro decor and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive, and the property was in a good location. It was an easy 15-minute walk to get downtown, although it was pretty dark at night due to the lack of street lights. Despite that, we always felt safe. The property also had a very nice pool dedicated just to the rental, but unfortunately, we didn't get to use it due to the weather. Overall, we really liked our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient to town. Too cold to enjoy the pool but it looked lovely. Things that need attention...The kitchen could use a few more essentials 😀 The freezer needs defrosted and the vanity in the bathroom needs light bulbs.

Charming Poolside Bungalow

Had a great stay....all was in order.....very clean.....quiet neighborhood (felt safe at all times).....comfy queen bed.....wifi worked great....plentiful apps up and running on TV.....very adequate A/C. Know there is a small ramp to access the bathroom. This was no problem for me and won't be for 99% of others, but just in case you are the 1% with gait coordination issues. If I find myself returning to the Mt. Dora area, I'd be happy to call this place home again for a few days.....definitely recommended.

A super-cute hideaway with a pool

Only two rooms, but plenty of space for two (and perhaps a visitor or two). Main room is beautifully done in mid-Century modern style; makes you want to play a bossa nova record and dance around the room. Kitchen appliances have retro decor, but they're all modern. Shared pool is surprisingly large (7-feet deep at one end) nicely lit and screened in. All this on a super-quiet, shady street. Walking into town is impractical, but not impossible (about 10 blocks).

Comfy clean modern retro cottage

I grew up in Mt Dora and recently travelled back for a long weekend. The cottage studio was exactly as pictured - clean with all the amenities of home. We ended up being so busy we never got a chance to use the pool - but it was clean and exactly as pictured. I had one small issue with the entry door lock (it ended up being my error) but the host was immediately responsive to my call and helped me figure it out. Overall a comfy studio cottage in a central location near downtown Mt Dora. Thanks for a great stay, Jessica!
