Island Shores 654 sits in the most desired area of Gulf Shores, and in a low-density complex- meaning no long waits on the elevator! Walk to all the popular restaurants such as The Pink Pony and The Hang Out, and to the many Events held at Gulf Place Beach Access like The National Annual Shrimp Festival and The Hangout Music Festival. Island Shores also provides Coin-Operated Laundry facilities on site for convenience, as well as a shared swimming pool and direct beach access.

This Beach Front, Gulf Facing home can accommodate your whole family, up to 6 persons, with a Queen Size Bed in the Primary Bedroom with a private, Full Bathroom, a Queen Size Bed in the Guest Bedroom, a second Full Bath just off the Living Area, and a pull-out Sleeper Sofa for extra sleeping. Need more space? Ask about the home next door at #655, sister unit with he same set up!! This home includes a Fully Stocked Kitchen, updated furnishings, and cozy decor! Do not wait, this home books quickly!!

- Beach Chairs & Umbrellas: Sometimes guests leave behind chairs and toys they have purchased. If they are clean and in good condition, we will leave them for the next guests. Or, these items are fairly inexpensive and can be purchased at most local stores. Also, there are vendors that set up very nice beach chairs and umbrellas for daily or weekly rent (seasonally). Just find an empty one or the attendant.

- All Bed Linens and Bath Towels are provided. A full list of what is provided and suggestions to bring will be emailed to you upon booking.

**Admin Fee and Processing (credit card) fee are non-refundable after booking.

**WINTER MONTHLY RESERVATIONS/ SNOWBIRDS (November, December, January & February) -Monthly Rates are available upon request. These rates are not advertised. We prefer full month reservations from the First to the First.

Everything went well, great time was had by all. There was a tile broken in the guest bedroom but didn’t hurt us. It was there when we checked in, just letting someone know in case you aren’t aware. Would stay there again. Also nice there was a security guard on hand.

Construction going on ( did not have notice) router never reset for Wi-Fi, and many plugs did not work. Awkward to enter condo with countertop only a foot from the door. Guests who slept in living room on pull out couch had no curtains or blinds on balcony window/ doors. Otherwise we had a wonderful time being right on the ocean.

Please understand that the first line on the description of the home sates there in ongoing construction for this complex You also are reminded of that with your check in instructions. The pictures of the home also show there are no curtains on the large windows in the living area. We d not want to obstruct that view. Yes, entry is set up different, but the design of the condo when it was built 35 years ago tried to make use of all square footage as possible. We are investigating the outlets not working, we could have done this immediately upon notice.

Family vaca at Island Shores

Overall the stay was good. The pictures do make the property view nicer than it actually is. Great location to restaurants and activities. Great beach. We would stay here again and recommend others to do so as well.

Great location, decent size and great views!

I would stay there again! Although the lint tray in the dryer hadn't been cleaned in a while and there was some scum in the bathtub of the main suite. Overall, great place!

Extended Vacation

Was already at the beach for the week of 4th July and was supposed to head home on Friday the 7th, but I was having such a great time with my three kids which are not kids anymore 18-24, I decided to try to find a place for the weekend and this was it. We enjoyed staying at Island Shores and the host was awesome, everything was just great for us, and was in walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go also. It was great! Will be back again.

Beautiful location

When we arrived to the rental we noticed a few minor things. The fitted sheet on the bed in the master bedroom was torn on the corner, there were a few stains on the sheets & towels, & the toilet in one of the bathrooms wasn’t clean properly. Overall, it was an easy booking, didn’t have to contact the property manager, the security guard on the premises was very helpful upon arriving, the stay was great, beautiful view, & we enjoyed our time.

Overall, great

The only thing that I would comment on is the elevator issues and spots of unpainted and vent/fan not working in the bathrooms. As well as the buildings electrical issues... Outside of that, it was great for what we needed. A clean place to lay our head while we explored the beaches and the city.

Very good place

Was very happy with our stay. A little crowded getting into the room. Utensils were dirty and hair in the utensil organizer. Clothes left from previous stayers. Couple of outlets didn't have outlet covers. I have a 2 yr old. Other than that stay was fine for our days.

Over all a pleasant stay

Other than the master bedroom mattress being awful and uncomfortable, most of the electrical outlets not working, and the tv in the 2nd room not working our stay was pleasant. The condo served it purpose and was very clean. The check in and check out was super easy. But if you have a special occasion (per listed on the email) you may want to remind them about it the week before you come. The old man security guard gave me and my husband weird creepy stalker vibes especially around my two teenage daughters.

We really loved the location of this stay! It was a very walkable area downtown Gulf Shores. Everything we needed was right there. Check in and out was VERY smooth! Zero complaints or issues. The pool area was very nice for not being very big. It was easy to transition from the beach to the pool throughout the day because of how close it was to the beach. With young children who easily get bored, that was super handy! We walked down the beach both ways and we agreed the stretch of beach in front of this stay seemed to be much less crowded. The only negative to us was the smell being that it’s an old building. After a few days of the air being turned down it wasn’t nearly as noticeable. Management was very easy to contact and quick to return a response. We would definitely stay with Celebrity Vacations again!

Very dated and unacceptable

40 yr old electric stove hardly worked, thread bare rugs, dirty filters, horrible mattresses, no vacuum, no washer dryer (was listed as in the unit), main TV old and small. Hostess was unprofessional

While we do understand your concerns and are sorry you did not like this property, this review does not accurately reflect the condo or the events during your stay. There was one stove eye that did not work, but this was not reported to us until almost two weeks into your stay. Once it was reported, the eye was replaced within 2 days. The mattresses were purchased less than one year ago and are exactly the same brand and firmness. We went above and beyond by sending someone there to switch the primary bedroom and guest bedroom out, which you stated you were happy with once that was done. You never reported not having a vacuum or we would have sent one. You were compensated/refunded money for the HOA requiring us to remove the washer and dryer, and there is a laundry facility onsite on the first floor you had access to. The TV is a 40" TV so it is not small and since these are smaller condos, you cannot get one that is much bigger there. We were very professional to you in the 6-8 phone calls per day the first two weeks of your stay, and continued to be professional to you when you began dismantling our condo by taking the bathroom vents down with a screwdriver. We even sent someone to put them back up but asked that you discontinue to pull things down. We received a text message on your departure date stating you were gone and what a wonderful stay you had. Even thanking us for it. We strive to make all of our guests happy, but must also maintain the integrity of the property for our owners.
