Island Shores 655- Beach Front, Walk Everywhere ! Just Look at This View!!

Island Shores 655 sits in the most desired area of Gulf Shores, and in a low-density complex- meaning no long waits on the elevator! Walk to all the popular restaurants such as The Pink Pony and The Hang Out, and to the many Events held at Gulf Place Beach Access like The National Annual Shrimp Festival and The Hangout Festival. Island Shores provides Coin-Operated Laundry facilities on site for convenience as well as a shared swimming pool and direct beach access.

This Beach Front, Gulf Facing home can accommodate your whole family, up to 6 persons, with a Queen Size Bed in the Primary Bedroom with a private, Full Bathroom, a Queen Size Bed in the Guest Bedroom, Second Full Bath off the Living area, and a pull-out Sleeper Sofa for extra sleeping. Need more space? Ask about the home next door at #654, sister unit with he same set up!! This home includes a Fully Stocked Kitchen, updated furnishings, and cozy decor! Do not wait, this home books quickly!!

- Beach Chairs & Umbrellas: Sometimes guests leave behind chairs and toys they have purchased. If they are clean and in good condition, we will leave them for the next guests. Or, these items are fairly inexpensive and can be purchased at most local stores. Also, there are vendors that set up very nice beach chairs and umbrellas for daily or weekly rent (seasonally). Just find an empty one or the attendant.

- All Bed Linens and Bath Towels are provided. A full list of what is provided and suggestions to bring will be emailed to you upon booking.

**Admin Fee and Processing (credit card) fee are non-refundable after booking.

**WINTER MONTHLY RESERVATIONS/ SNOWBIRDS (November, December, January & February) -Monthly Rates are available upon request. These rates are not advertised. We prefer full month reservations from the First to the First.

One tiny roll of bathroom tissue per bathroom, few worn towels, one bed sagged in the middle, no blow dryer. The elevator broke on Sunday afternoon and by Monday morning, no one had come to fix it. We are over 80, and this was a REAL problem. The contact I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and eager to help the problems we were having with VRBO’s (?) tech in getting signed in. Give her a raise. Beach view was lovely and our unit was clean. Dark beach good

Upon booking and sent several times before arrival, you are informed that we only supply a starter set of paper products. This is an industry standard here in our area. The elevator issues are out of our control, but clearly a problem with being on a higher floor. We do hope you would change your star rating and base it on the home itself and the service you received, which is in our control.

We are glad you had a great time. We are sorry for your confusion, but we did not "cover up mold". As explained before, when we came to clear your toilet, our maintenance man noticed microbial growth around the a/c vent. He treated it with killer then painted Kilz over it to prevent further growth. A/c ducts have been cleaned since your departure and there was no further growth. This happens frequently in these older, concrete buildings that do not have exhaust fans in the bathrooms. We hope you would raise your star rating.

It was a nice condo with a very nice view of the golf of Mexico.

Nice place. It had a weird layout but it we made due. The elevator went out a few times and was very slow but still better than walking up 6 floors. Comfy beds and nice living area.

nice and clean and beach was just downstairs

we took our kids and their spouses and stayed 5 nights! my husband and i slept on the pull out and it was a comfortable mattress i was impressed. loved setting out on the balcony and watching the ocean. had a washer and dryer in condo that was very accommodating! would recommend this condo to anyone! thanks for a great vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location on beach very clean I was a little disappointed that dryer didn't work and that the entry way was very tight space to walk in because the washer and dryer being added.

The view was great and we were right on the beach. The condo itself was okay but needed some work. The unit had pubic hair on the toilets and the floors had not been mopped. In addition a dried dirty washcloth was hanging from the shower rod. I did not contact management as I did not want cleaners coming in after we had our things in. Instead I cleaned the areas we used with Clorox wipes and we did not go barefooted in the condo.

Great view & location

It should’ve provided quality toiletries. Great location. Easy check in & check out process. It will be great to have blinders in the living room. Also, not dryer & washer machines inside the unit. That wasn’t clear enough when we booked.

Hi Roger, The "Get Ready" email you receive as soon as you book lists exactly what we provide and what we don't as far as toiletries. Since we are not a hotel and nothing is onsite, we only provide the starter pack of those things. The washer and dryer being onsite and not in the condo is clearly listed in the description of the property before booking. We are glad you enjoyed your stay however and appreciate your business.

The view is spectacular

Very nice place to stay. The view of the beach is stunning. We spent most evenings listening to the waves. We had a few items not right when we checked in. Some light bulbs out and missing batteries in some remotes.The response to the problems was quick and thorough! Thanks!
