The Balcony is the perfect place to enjoy Costa Rica’s marvelous tropical dry forest . Here, you can enjoy the sound of waves and a sublime vista of the Costa Rican shoreline, encounter with native tropical fauna (iguanas, monkeys, birds, etc), visit magnificent beaches and if you enjoy fishing, Flamingo´s Marina is just 11 km away. The Balcony can be brimming without ever feeling crowded, and your alone time can be as enjoyable as the family time its atmosphere and wide spaces favor.
Each of The Villa´s five bedrooms has its own private bathroom, either in-suite or adjacent. The house is large enough to sleep 14 of your closest friends or family. In the third-floor master suite, luxuriate in a king-sized bed, private balcony and Jacuzzi tub. Downstairs, the second and third bedrooms share a balcony, as do the fourth and fifth, located on the next level down.
No matter where you sleep ocean views will greet you and you'll drift off to the sound of the waves.
The Balcony comes complete with on-site staff that offers a cooking service included in the rate (2 meals per day, 6 days a week) and personalized concierge who can help you arrange transportation, booking tours, etc.
All along the house you will enjoy the flow of gentle breezes as you admire the beauty of the sea and the jungle.
Part of the attraction of the Villa is its great views, so access to the beach requires going down the hill. We recommend having a car or arranging a transport to return to the house.
The house has air conditioners in each room, but has no centralized air conditioning, this allows you to enjoy the sounds of the sea and greater contact with nature.

ABOUT
Ocean views greet you as you wake up in any of The Balcony`s five spacious bedrooms. Weather you brew coffee at sunrise in the fully equipped kitchen, watch the setting sun paint the sky in watercolor shades of lilac and tangerine, or grill fresh fish on the barbecue and sit down to dinner at the 12-person outdoor dining table (there’s also an indoor dining room with space for 12) you will enjoy every sight.
There are even ocean views from the game room, but if you’re not too focused on sun, you can become the family table soccer champion, dominate the pool table or enjoy a movie on the 55-inch plasma TV.
The Balcony comes complete with on-site staff (maintenance and maid) that offer a cooking service included in the rate (2 meals per day, 6 days a week). With a little extra fee, we can arrange to have the supermarket delivered to the Villa, according with your preferences and considering food intolerances if there are any.
We suggest you consider a minimum tip of USD20 per day to give to the staff before you leave the house. The Staff will be cleaning common areas of the house during your stay, nevertheless, if you want your rooms and bathrooms to be clean, this would have an extra cost.
Also The Balcony has a personalized concierge who can help you arrange transportation from the airport, book tours, restaurant reservations, massages, and yoga classes. We’ve got you covered.
By request, and with not extra cost, you can ask for an additional room that is next to the house and has 2 full beds and its own full bathroom but it is a small bedroom and bathroom, not as comfortable as the others in the house.

Just an hour away from Liberia Airport, the Villa is close to everything while still feeling far away from it all. From the house, you can drive to a different beach almost every day of the week. The casa is a 15-minute drive from Flamingo Beach and a half-hour from Tamarindo, home to an array of delicious restaurants, grocery stores, medical services and more.
