Within 15 minutes of the cottage is rafting, trout fishing, beautiful public golf courses, hiking, bike trails, shopping, skiing, snowboarding, and fine dining. There are many festivals going on all summer long in the neighboring mountain cities of Waynesville, Sylva, and Dillsboro. Asheville to the east, and Cherokee to the west are approximately 30 min. away. It is a fantastic location to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains and all they have to offer in the cool summer weather.
