Looking for your fairytale getaway. Checkout Laurel Cottage, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is perfect for a vacation from the hustle and bustle of everyday. This cabin is located in beautiful Wears Valley, it sleeps 9, and has plenty to offer.
When stepping inside you will be greeted with an open floor plan of the living room and kitchen. This area is perfect for gathering and watching the game or shooting a game of pool at the pool table while waiting for dinner. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you can think of you might need and more. There is plenty of prep space so it doesn't whether you are cooking like a master chef or making PB&J sandwiches it will be just what you need.
There is two bedrooms on this level. One bedroom has a king bed and fireplace with the perfect reading nook to cuddle up on and hideaway on rainy days. The other bedroom boasts a comfy queen bed with both rooms having their own private TVs to catch up on your favorite show before bed. In between the two bedrooms if a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo to wash or rinse your worries away and just relax in your private retreat.
If the kids want something to do just have them head upstairs and try out the table arcade or magnetic dartboard for some fun. They can hideout up there as long as they want with it have a Twin/ Queen bunk and a nook to the side to side with their tablet or laptop.
In the evenings head out on the deck and grill out or take a soak in the bubbly hot tub and enjoy the peacefulness of being hid amongst the trees. Choosing Laurel Cottage as your home away from home for a little will have you wanting to stay in your own fairytale as long as you can.

The cabin was very clean and very spacious. It had everything we needed for a week in the mountains. It was secluded but also close enough to stores and attractions. We enjoyed the arcade table and the pool table also. The “nook” was a great place for our son to chill, reading or playing on his phone. We all enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back in the future. Thanks!

Great cabin for a getaway!

Really liked this cabin. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered deck and feeling like we were in the woods. Clean for a pet-friendly cabin and we were happy to have our fur baby with us. Made a lot of good memories here, we would love to come back!

Solid choice for quiet and convenience

This cabin is very clise to Metcalf Bottoms and less than 15 minutes to Elkmont in the GSM National Park. Quiet neighborhood and adequate home conveniences, though well worn. Great hiking and fishing basecamp. We appreciate it being pet friendly.

Birthday trip

Upon arrival of the cabin, it is easily gotten to with good paved roads. There are no issues with parking it is very level. We went in the house easily with door code, the house was clean, the hot tub was great and we enjoyed our time there. It’s close to activities but also there are woods surrounding the cottage so you feel secluded.

Laurel cottage

Laurel cottage was a great place to stay for our vacation, the spacious inside was great for myself my husband and our kids. The cottage was clean and well stocked with things that would be needed for a stay, the scenic view from all angles where peaceful and appreciated. Two suggestions would be a fresh coat of paint to the inside and to trim the grass in and around the front of the cottage both didnt interfer with our stay in anyway I still give this cottage a 5 out of 5, we would definitely stay again.

Good location

Comfortable beds. The kitchens and bathrooms were clean, but could use updating. Flooring had stains. No kitchen table and kitchen bar only comfortably sat 4-5. Location was nice halfway between pigeon forge and Townsend.

Would definitely visit again

Once we found the cottage, it was everything the VRBO description stated. The loft upstairs kept the young ones entertained while the "mature" family members enjoyed the hot tub. I would suggest arriving before dark, and definitely don't rely on GPS! LOL. Close enough to enjoy Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg without the hassle of the crowds.

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Laurel Cottage. The cabin had all the essentials needed. It was clean. Location was about 30minutes from Cade’s Cove, which made my hip very happy. The kids loved the upstairs space. Road to cabin is the typical curving mountain road but not bad. Plenty of parking. Definitely, keeping this cabin in mind for future stays. Kristy, was very prompt with responses to our questions. My only concern was we did not get our door code till a couple of hours prior to check-in.

Nice Place....

Everything is clean and well kept in and around the cabin. The gaming machine didn't work the first night we were there, but a quick call and someone did come to fix it, which was nice. It is pet friendly, but if you're looking for a bit more yard with your dogs, maybe look at a different place. I think there are house in the neighborhood where others might live, so there is a small amount of traffic to and from, on the street, that is in fact directly in front of the cabin. Good place, everything you need is there.

Pleasant getaway

Typical windy mountain roads to get to the cabin but relatively easy destination. Beautiful surrounding scenery. The screened in porch was great but could have been swept up from all the dead bugs and old spider webs but we made do. The hot tub hottubbed and was amazing in this fall weather. One night we heard some rustling and there was a bear! It was an awesome experience. We spent much time playing pool as I got sick on our trip so the hot tub and pool were great distractions for being stuck in a home away from home. There is a cool little food truck stand with seating and a beautiful mountain scenery to watch while eating just 2 miles away. Overall great stay. Would come back again. Also the fur babies loved the acceptance of being able to come and cabin with my boyfriend and me.

One free adult admission per unit, per paid night, stay, with reservations made in advance. Reservation required. Noncumulative and nontransferable. Unused admissions expire daily
 
This cabin is pet-friendly — a $75 + tax non-refundable fee per pet applies. Pets must weigh no more than 40 lbs each and be crated if left unattended on the property.
 
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin. Guests found smoking indoors will be subject to a cleaning fee of up to $1,000 and immediate removal from the property. All payments made for the reservation will be forfeited in full.
