It’s all about the view at this 8th-floor condo in the Pelican Beach Resort. Stash your bags in one of the two comfortable bedrooms, grab a frosty beverage & step out onto your private balcony to start enjoying it immediately. And the view from inside is almost as good, thanks to two full walls of windows. Once you’ve had your fill, slip into your swimsuit and head downstairs to check out the complex amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools and a hot tub – or head straight for a lounge chair on that gorgeous Gulf Coast beach.

When you’re ready for a break from the sand, come home to relax in the central air-conditioning. The open-plan living space includes a full, well-equipped kitchen, a dining area & a living room with comfy couches, perfect for a relaxing evening at home. Modern conveniences include a washer/dryer, free WiFi and cable & three TVs, so no worries if you can’t agree on what to watch. But with so many restaurants just a short walk or drive away, don’t call it a night just yet – head out on the town to celebrate your good luck at booking the perfect Destin escape.

BEACH SERVICES: Beach services at the Resorts of Pelican Beach is provided by La Dolce Vita. Hours are 9am to 5pm from March 1st through October 31st. All beach services are managed by La Dolce Vita under agreement with the Pelican Beach Resort Owners' Association. Policies are applicable to all guests and owners of the resort. Beach setups may be rented directly on the beach the day of, based on availability.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 8.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

This place had an incredible view from multiple rooms! Perfect for our small family and they loved one of the best beaches around! All staff were extremely nice and the Tiki bar was very convenient with great drinks. We’ll be staying again!

Property was great location, beautiful view. I loved the resort. Condo could be updated. The master bathroom shower was a little annoying, but nothing you couldn’t get over. I loved the view of ocean, a main reason why we picked this place.

The condo is very old. The furniture was old and broken. The carpets were so old the color had faded. The condo also had a terrible odor which cause respiratory issues for me and my husband. The aur condition filter didnt fit the unit and was just sitting there being held inplace by the suction of the intake. We placed a call for replacement filter but no one came to deal with the issue. So we spend the rest of our time coughing and sniffling. Also this resort does not have handicap access to the the beach. There are only stairs, no ramps We definitely will not stay at this resort again

Lovely view

The condo was as expected and more! It was clean and the vibe was warm & tropical. The view was beautiful. We were right next to the elevator to bring us outside to the pools! Although it was chilly weather, the indoor/outdoor pool was nicely heated. And of course the hot tub was enjoyed by all!

This was perfect for a short weekend getaway. It was very clean and cute. We had everything we needed. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the hot tub next to the beach which was also beautiful to wake up to every morning!

Overall we enjoyed the property, couple of minor things, drapes were hanging off the rod for the balcony and towel rod in the master bath was hanging off the wall.

Very nice, highly recommend!

Very clean and comfortable condo. Good view of the beach from the balcony. Convenient access to the beach through the resort. Nice to have the less used elevator right out the door. The resort had nice amenities with the pools, hot tub, Cafe and tiki bar. The condo kitchen was nicely stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, etc., but I would have expected maybe some stuff like cooking oil and seasonings, like salt and pepper. Overall, great place, highly recommended!

Our room was cleaned and ready the day before we arrived but they refused to give us early check in, even though the resort let us know that the room is cleaned and ready. It was weird and felt spiteful the way customer service was acting when we contacted them about early check in. The room was not very clean. If we roamed the room without socks or shoes on, the bottoms of our feet were black. There was sand all in the broken pull out couch bed. The dishwasher does not wash the dishes well, even with high quality dishwasher pods, it took multiple washes to clean dishes inside. We payed for late check out because we were made aware that it was available. Even after paying for the late check out and receiving a confirmation email, our door code stopped working at 10 am. Late check out isn’t until 2 pm… the resort itself isn’t a bad place to stay at all. Great location. The only downsides for the actual resort is that they have two hot tubs, one large one and one small one. They close the large one at dusk and keep only the very small one open until 10pm. The also close down the pool that gets the evening sun at dusk and keep open the one that is fully shaded by the building itself…. The gym is also very small with not much room to move around and has a very limited selection of dumbbells. You also aren’t allowed to have any personal beach setups south of the chairs and umbrellas that you have to pay for, and no tents or canopies allowed, umbrellas only.

Great stay, beware unforeseen charges.

I loved the rental it was beautiful, very spacious, even better in person v.s. the pictures, but the amenities such as trash bags, we wanted more of, but there was a fee to get more, they wouldn't give out any extras even though this wasn't a cheap booking. So that was pretty disappointing that they couldn't do that for us. And the coffee table wasn't sturdy, it was very wobbly, and the heating element for the top left burner on the stove was going out. Besides those few hiccups it was a over all great stay. Also they p.s they charge a fee to sit close to the beach front so beware, that was also unexpected and pretty crumby. Definitely hindered the experience.

Great condo. Very clean. Might want to suggest to owner a toaster would be a nice small appliance to add. Front door has a large gap between door and frame, could feel the wind coming in. Other than that, it was fine.

Destin Condo

The condo was in a great central location. The condo was clean, but dated. All of the furniture, including the patio chairs were old and stained.The appliances were also dated and we needed up having to wash our dishes by hand because I don’t think the dishwasher was working well.Like other listings, you need to bring your paper towel and TP and dish soap, because they do not provide enough. Also, no hand soap in the condo.The complex is nice, lots of pools and the beach is gorgeous! It was nice to have the snack shop right on the property for a quick snack or lunch. The Tiki hut was busy all day for drinks.The beach is busy and dominated by the chairs that are for rent. If you brought your own, you have to make do with a spot farther back. And those even fill up early! We were there for Spring Break though.Overall we would definitely go back!

Nice Condo and Location

We loved the location of the property and its amenities, but a few updates are needed at the condo. The beachfront location and heated pools were very nice during October. The condo could use some updates. All TVs need to be updated to Smart TV s instead of cable. Balcony furniture was old and rusty and cushions stained. A table and chairs would have been nice. The kitchen didn’t have any potholders or a decent baking pan for goo-king. Other than these issues, the bed was comfortable and condo was clean and roomy.

When we arrived the unit was not cleaned and we had to wait outside for cleaning service to arrive and clean the unit, dishes were dirty in the cabinets, the living room light/ceiling fan didn’t work, the bedding was super thin overall the place could use a lot of tlc

Beach therapy

Beautiful, clean condo with great views of the ocean. We appreciated the early check in, & ease of communication with Vacasa. Kitchen was well equipped, but could use a toaster & sheet pan. Stove top burners did not sit flat, but were still functional. Our cable went out the afternoon of our last day, we did trouble shoot but was not able to fix the problem. We chose not to have maintenance come in on our last night since we were leaving early the next morning. There are 3 pools all heated & the beach is beautiful! This is our 2nd stay at the Pelican Beach Resort & would highly reccommend.
