Welcome to the Flying Pelican, a truly amazing BEACHFRONT townhome nestled in highly desirable Melbourne Beach, Florida. Adorned with high-end furnishings and beautiful tropical and oceanic decorations, you will find yourself steps from the pristine and very private beach of this East coast gem. Stroll the beach and immerse yourself in the abundance of wildlife that populates the beach, collect shells, or just bask in the sun and swim the warm waters that await you, just steps from this beach paradise! This is one of the best beaches to observe the Loggerhead, Green and Leatherback turtle nesting seasons. During nesting season, you are almost guaranteed an amazing experience, observing these giant creatures nesting or the joy of watching hatchlings make their way to the ocean for the first time. Or take a paddle board adventure on the Indian River and see dolphins and manatee. And of course, watch the Pelicans glide right over the upper balcony.

The Flying Pelican is equipped for your total comfort, from the ever so comfortable beds for a peaceful nights sleep to the fabulous surfboard kitchen for a fun social dinner. Sit out on the deck with a cocktail as you watch the sun and waves or relax in the living area and just soak it all in while you doze off.

Everything you need is very close to this cozy beachfront oasis. Spressard Holland golf course is ¼ mile from the front door for a round of golf. Or paddle board/kayak the river or ocean for the day. Take a day to enjoy the dolphin tours, the Kennedy Space Center, or the beachfront and riverfront venues with live music and great food. Near the home are the all of basics that you will need. Diagonally across the street is a convenience store/gas station that is a lifesaver.

The Flying Pelican is a multi-level town home with the 1st floor foyer leading to the master suite and master/guest bath with large shower. A large slider opens to the ground floor patio, equipped with lounge and sitting chairs as well as beach gear. The foyer stairs lead up to the surfboard kitchen with front balcony and three steps up is the back is the beautiful, cozy open living area that has the panoramic view of the ocean and beach. The last level is the loft bedroom with privacy curtains that open to a view of the ocean. The loft bath has a shower/bath combo.

The owner is a local artist, and you will see various pieces of his art as well as his one of a kind home designs.

Summer Vacation

The property is beautiful and the communication was excellent. We also asked to check in early and Sima made it happen. The view of the beach and ocean was everything I was looking for. I sat on the back porch for hours when I wasnt on the beach. Access to the beach was easy as well and every morning there were new turtle tracks. We also watched a rocket launch. It was amazing! Getting around town was easy as well. Highly recommended staying here!

Wonderful host and wonderful property. A much needed get away. Host let us check in when the unit was ready ( before check in time) it was very clean ready to enjoy. Large kitchen large living room. 2 big bedrooms and 2 lovely bathrooms. Great to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the waves and glorious walks on the beach at sunrise each morning. Ample parking, close to all. highly recommend. We will be going back.

A lovely place to stay.

This is a very nice property. Two, things could have made it better. First better beach chairs, and second a grill. Other than that its a great place to stay and I'd stay there again.

Great/Quiet Location for Family Stay

Property matched pictures very well. Very quiet part of the beach with easy access from townhome porch to the ocean (less than 100 yards), made the daily transitions with little kids very easy. Most days we were the only ones on the beach which allowed our kids a ton of freedom to play. The community is very quiet which was nice too.

Disappointed

The host was very helpful and responsive and the view was spectacular. However, the house could use a thorough cleaning- dust and dog hair no matter how many times I swept. The most disappointing part was the balcony where you would want to spend most of your time due to the unparalleled view , was in deplorable condition. Paint was chipping everywhere and was tracked into the house with every step. Also all of the metal was rusting. It was hard for us to imagine why this crucial part of the house was not maintained. We would not rent again.

A lot to like

Location is great…only minutes from nice Melbourne Beach restaurants and golf. Spessard Holland course is practically across the street and Aquarian Golf Club, a very nice shorter senior type course, 10 minutes South on A1A. The unit was very clean and well laid out for us and our dog as the lower master br exits right onto the yard where he could do his business. The main lr furniture was very comfortable and the large screen tv perfect. The decor was very well done. The host, Sima was very responsive. There was a leak in one of the hot water pipes when we arrived and she was able to get it repaired quickly even though it was the New Years holiday. Even though the complex buildings are very old, they have done a nice job in keeping this unit in excellent shape.

Wonderful location and beautiful home

We LOVED our stay and were so sad to leave. The natural beauty around the condo is just incredible. Beach wasn't crowded at all (during Christmas week) and we even saw some sea turtle shells! The lcoals are very nice; we met many on the beach. The condo itself is beautiful and much more spacious and airy than we expected. The living room is huge! Comfortable mattresses on the beds, helpful and friendly communication from the owners. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Perfect Location A1A/Beach

We had a perfect vacation at this property. The condo is right on the beach with beautiful views. It's clean and well-appointed. The location is close to many good Melbourne Beach restaurants and attractions and a short drive from Melbourne (we prefer Melbourne Beach, quieter and less congested). The property manager, Sima, was attentive and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this property, 5 stars across the board!

25th Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a great time. The beach is literally right in front of the property with beautiful sunrises and ocean breezes. As a bonus we were able to watch from the balcony a rocket launch from NASA. I highly recommend.

Amazing layout

We loved the property because of its unique layout and location directly on the beach. This location has better beach sand thank other times we have stayed a little further north in the same area. The loft and living room area is great just to hang out in woth open sliding doors to the beach.

Fantastic location

Clean well equipped large condo right on the beach. Everything you need is supplied. Location is great and near grocery store 3 miles away and great restaurants just a quick drive into town .

Ocean House

The property is beautiful with it’s own private beach. Walking along the beach everyday and sitting outside listening to the ocean made for such a relaxing vacation. The property manager was very accessible and we wanted for nothing! Comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings, ocean right outside your door…What more could you ask for? We had a wonderful time!
