Designed with comfort, craftsmanship, and natural beauty in mind, this 1,200 sq. ft. retreat is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and explore the best of the Black Hills.

Step onto the covered front porch and take in the fresh canyon air, towering pine trees, and regular visits from local wildlife—including Big Horn Sheep, Wild Turkeys, and Deer. This Cabin was amazing. It was the perfect basecamp for our travels throughout SD and day trips into ND and WY. It had every amenity you could ask for. It was very relaxing, cozy and quiet yet close to the city. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic house

Loved staying at this property. The house was gorgeous and impeccably clean. There was a ton of room and the set up of kitchen and bedroom counters made it very convenient for living out of suitcases. The kitchen appliances, cutlery, cookware were all new and very clean. The bathroom was beautiful, the shower had great water pressure and the heated floor was SO nice on the feet!The outdoor space was nice and the neighborhood was quiet. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Beautiful nature get-away with the comforts of town

This beautiful property is located in a developed area but with an out-in-nature placement. The big windows offer views of the landscape in all directions. Very easy check-in and even easier check-out procedures make this stay a gem.

The Buffalo Cabin is Awesome!

This cabin offered privacy and seclusion for our family while being close to both Rapid City, the Black Hills, and the Badlands. The cabin was extremely well stocked, clean, and beautiful! We didn’t want to leave!

Excellent Property

Very impressive top to bottom. Great location for our family get away to the Black Hills. The home is decorated with a smart and thoughtful touch. This is probably one of our family favorite rentals.

Black Hills Vacation

We had a really good time visiting all the sites around the Black Hills. It was nice to come "home" to a beautiful cabin after a long day and relax. I highly recommend having a base camp to come back to with plenty of room for the entire family. Great location, center of everything. This cabin is top notch.

Exceptional House in the Heart of Nature

We loved this VRBO! The space was beautiful with beautifully detailed touches. The house had everything we needed and more! We especially loved seeing deer visit every night at dusk and we were memorized by the horses out back as we watched the sunset!

Black Hills Vacation

We absolutely loved this cabin! Centrally located to all of the activities on our list. The cabin was roomy enough for our family of 5 and the kitchen fully stocked with all of the housewares to cook meals. We didn’t want to leave!!! Thank you, the cabin was the icing and cherry on the cake!!!

Lovely getaway

This was truly a lovely home. Very spacious, clean and well appointed. Loved all the windows and natural light in the house. I was extremely impressed with the extras available for use, outdoor grill, outdoor patio propane fire pit - I haven’t experienced those amenities in other vacation rentals before. The proximity to Rapid City and all of its surrounding attractions was perfect. We felt very much at home and Buffalo Cabin was extremely relaxing for us.

Great base camp to explore

We had an amazing stay at this clean and well stocked cabin! The location is private but convenient to make day trips to all the Black Hills activities. We hiked, swam and explored everyday, and we were happy to come back to this comfortable cabin each night. We loved that we could take our dogs with us on all our adventures. Communication with Jessica was fast and friendly. We’ve already recommended this property to our friends!

Amazing!

Amazing. Can't say enough about the cabin. Everything you could need for your stay, nice and quiet, clean, upscale ammenities. Enjoyed watching the neighbors horse. A wonderful stay. Nice to have internet and smart tv. Lots of books to read during your stay. This will be the vrbo/airbnb we compare others to.

Amazing Family Vacation

We absolutely loved this cabin! Everything was beautiful - so well appointed and thought out. It didn’t bother us that there was one bathroom. The heated floor was great! Nice big kitchen and living room with ample seating. Coming back from touristing to play the family games at the cabin (Jenga, Old Maid, Go Fish) while watching for deer was one of our favorite parts! They really thought of everything here. WONDERFUL.

Absolutely amazing!

This home is amazing! It is close to so many places, national parks, monuments, and attractions. We saw so much and it was nice to “come home” here. Everything you need is here. We cooked and grilled nearly everyday. We saw deer, turkey, and horses everyday. I cannot say enough good about this home. We absolutely loved it!!

Great Experience!

The cabin was as advertised. The setting was peaceful and picturesque. Neighbors nearby but not too close. Greeted by horses in the adjacent lot and deer every morning. The cabin was clean, nicely furnished, and stocked with everything needed to make you feel at home. Location was great - easy to get to, near major retail and major attractions. Overall a great experience!

Quiet space

Property was nice and quiet. It is located right on a road that is winding, so be careful with children and pets. Home has one bath, so large numbers may have issues with showering. We were two, so no issues for us. Overall the home is quite lovely.

Great Black Hills Property

This is a great Black Hills cabin, in the Hills but close to Rapid as well. Great location accessible to any part of the Black Hills. In 4 short days, we ranged from Spearfish, Deadwood, Deerfield Lake, Custer and the Wyoming border, with two trips to Custer State Park mingled in. The cabin is new, beautiful, well appointed and furnished. The owner/manager was responsive and accommodating, even offering to find garage space for our vehicle when severe weather threatened. Property rules were basic common sense and not obnoxious, as some properties can be.
