Lovely 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath with office space.

This stylish basement unit is perfect for traveling nurses or group trips. It`s simply home away from home with many amenities to enjoy during your stay. House is located in Alexandria with a close proximity and easy commute to Washington D.C. The house is about 14 minutes away from Oldtown Alexandria, about 20 minutes to the white house, 12 minutes to Arlington National Cemetery, about 14 min to Ronald Reagan airport. The house is also equipped with a smart lock for self check-in.



The unit is 1255SQ FT with two spacious bedrooms, living room with a office space and printer, full kitchen with oven and washer and dryer.



Guests will have access to the basement unit and the patio. There`s free street parking.



House is located in West Alexandria VA, about 15 mins to oldtown Alexandria, 22 minutes drive to White House. It`s a quiet and friendly nieghborhood and we hope you will help to keep it that way.



Uber is minutes away, the nearest Metro train station is Van Dorn street station which about 10 mins drive from the house.

Great place in Alexandria. We were in for a visit to DC. Uber was quick and easy. Neighborhood was quiet and parking was easy. Overall a good place to stay in this area.

Quiet neighborhood, close to main roads

This apartment is a nice, quiet place to relax after a days adventure. The owner is very attentive to any needs and checked in with us a few times via the VRBO app to make sure everything was in order.

Perfect basement apartment for a DC visit

Was perfect for my family of 5 on a visit to DC. Close access to grocery, street parking was not an issue at all, easy access to multiple routes into DC.

Great Alexandria property

This was a great property in Alexandria. Description was spot on. Plenty of amenities close by including grocery, old town, freeways and the Metro a short drive away for our DC sightseeing. Property was very clean and well kept. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Great communication with out host. Would definitely stay here again.

5 minutes to Metro, pay $4 to park all day. Can't beat it. Basement apt was clean and very well appointed. When I get back to DC I'm staying here if it's available!

Great experience on property.

Thank you for the great experience. Great communication from our host. Parking was out front on the street which was not an issue at all. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood. We found the property very clean and well kept. Only suggestion to the host would be a couple more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. We would use this property again when in the area and have already recommend to a friend.

Clean and easy access to DC but noisy

This is definitely a basement unit. (The VRBO description has since been updated to reflect this). The colors in the unit are bright and cheerful, but it still felt dark. The owner was super responsive from booking until checkout and we really appreciated that. However... there was so much noise from the unit above us. One morning there was vacuuming at 8am. Another morning there were loud conversations that woke us at 7:30am. The owner said sound proofing was done, but I could ascertain a British accent in the guests upstairs. Needless to say we didn't sleep well. We enjoyed the easy access to DC. We had planned to take the metro from King street but realized it would be cheaper to uber.

Cherry Blossom Festival

We came up so my wife and her mom could see the Cherry Blossoms in DC. The propertywas convenient to DC and was clean and great for our party. The check in process was easy and we did it with no issues. We also forgot something when we left and it is being mailed to me tomorrow which I really appreciate. Beds were very comfortable. The only major issue we had was that the unit is the lower one and there is no soundproofing from the upper floor so we clearly heard child(ren) running, jumping, and crying from Friday through Tuesday. This started as early as 5:30 am and went on until 10:00 pm on some days. We could also hear conversations and adults walking. Minor inconveniences was the lack of towel hooks or shelves for toiletries in the bathrooms. Ottomans would have been a great addition. Overall our stay was nice and my only hesitation in staying there again would be the noise from the second floor.
