Unwind in this great nicely updated cottage across the street from Lake Barkley. Freshened up with love and attention to detail. We kept the unique vintage style and added modern touches like new appliances, new flooring, fresh paint and great coffee/wine drinking screened in patio that will fit the whole family!
Community boat ramp is a 10 min walk.
Easy access to Hwy 68 will lead you to all the wonderful things to do in The Land Between the Lakes. Start with antiquing in historic Cadiz, go to the planetarium or bison prairie. Try horseback riding, biking, hiking on and off paved trails, kayaking, the best fishing around. Boat ramp near by. Land Between the Lakes has several marinas with restaurants on the water, there are local cafe style, bbq, and Mexican restaurants. If you want to stay in and cook, fully stocked kitchen and a grill.
Entertainment year round!
We are available to answer any questions, we are the owners and self manage all three of our homes. When you call, you reach "US" my husband John and I are near by to assist or answer any questions.
John and I are experienced hosts w/3 homes near Lake Barkley Ky
& a local gift shop/event venue. We are full time hosts.
We love creating special places for our guests.
We own Stoneybrooke a curated gift/antique shop, hosting creative classes and private events. We fill all three of our homes with "one of a kind" items. We hope we can help you create great memories, and R&R whenever you stay in our homes. Private shopping & classes available. Family group prices for three properties together. The house was decorated beautifully!! They supplied items in case you forgot something!! We loved their screened in patio out back!! We spent the majority of time out there!! Owners responded quickly & supplied information we needed!! Making plans to return next year!!!

The house was spotless. Kitchen had everything we needed. Large washer and dryer. Plenty of towels. Roomy enough for our family. Screened porch was a bonus. More family rented house next door, so ideal location for both families to be together. Fortunate to meet Julie, very pleasant. Will be back next year….

Great place. Hosts are responsive to questions. VERY Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of games and puzzles. Place lookes recently remodeled. For a place that takes pets, there were no smells or stains. I would stay there again. Nice large screen porch. A/c was very quiet and easily kept up with the 100 degree heat.

The house is so warm and inviting...like home away from home. Very clean and comfortable. We liked the location, which is near the lake, on a quiet street of houses. Lake Barkley State Park is less than 2 miles away and Cadiz was only 7 miles. We loved the sun porch, where we spent a great deal of time in spite of the high temperatures.We appreciated the extra toiletries in each bathroom and ample kitchen necessities. We had a great stay here. We were happy!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this VRBO property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated the home was. Everything was exactly as described — if not better.The house is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood that felt very safe and relaxing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, yet still close to everything we needed — shops, restaurants, and local attractions were all just a short drive away.The home itself had all the amenities we could have asked for, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout. The outdoor space was a major highlight — perfect for enjoying morning coffee or a relaxing evening.Communication with the host was excellent. They were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stress-free getaway in a great location. Our stay was wonderful. This residence is very well appointed, very clean and in a great location to enjoy the LBL area. I would highly recommend staying here if you are planning on visiting this area.The host were very accommodating.

Easy check in. Easy to communicate with the hosts. Very clean and peaceful, stocked with everything we could have needed. This was a wonderful place to be able to visit with my adult children currently enrolled in MSU. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. I will definitely remember this place and these hosts and we will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Bachelorette Party

This was the perfect house to host a small Bachelorette party. It was very easy to find, the screened in back patio area was so beautiful, the house was clean and tidy and decorated so cute. We all felt totally safe and clean the entire stay. On top of it all, the owner was very responsive and worked with me when I was arriving earlier than my check in time. Thank you again!

Nice neighborhood

Very clean and nice updated home in a quiet neighborhood. Nice backyard and screened in porch for kids to play. Dollar General 4 mins away in case you forget anything. Lake Barkley state park and kenlake park within 15/20 mins.

Sweetest hosts

We had a great time staying here while we went off roading at Land Between the Lakes! I had told Julie about bringing my rescue dog on her first vacation with us and Julie had treats and a water bowl ready for my dog once we got there! The screened in patio was absolutely perfect! We played cornhole and enjoyed our morning coffee! The bed was very comfortable as well! We’ll definitely be coming back!

We love creating special places for our guests to enjoy.
We also sell antiques as a hobby, each home has "one of a kind" items not found anywhere else. We hope we can help you create wonderful memories and a feeling of relaxation and comfort whenever you stay in our homes.

This is our favorite property to date, as it was a complete remodel that we did together. We love everything about this property. It is perfect in size, spacious and cozy. We filled it with mid-century furnishings, giving the house a warm and inviting vibe. We created a special space for retreaters to go if the weather is not cooperating with vacation plans. We call it the rainy day room. So far we have filled it with board games, books and a treadmill. But our favorite space is a large screened patio on the back of the house. Perfect for coffee or wine drinking.

Also note that we offer the house next door for rent. This is a perfect situation for large families needing more than one house. Plan ahead if you want to book both homes!
