Iron Mountain Loft - Luxury Rocky Mountain View Penthouse

The Iron Mountain Loft in the Rocky Mountains is the latest addition to our Holiday Home Rentals. It's a brand new 2000 square foot Penthouse with vaulted alder ceilings, incredible views of the Rocky Mountains, Rundle Range and Ha Ling Peak and Restoration Hardware furnishings. The living room, dining room and enormous 2oo square foot deck all have unobstructed views to the south-west of the breathtaking, jagged Rocky Mountains. The deck has 2 infrared outdoor patio heaters so that you can enjoy the beautiful mountain views all year long! Enjoy the greenery and the sparkle from the pond below that converts to a skating rink in the winter. Take in a communal hot tub after a day hiking, biking or skiing at the Tamarack. Have a look at our Northwood Chalet Whistler, our Driftwood Beach House on the Sunshine Coast and our Mokihana House in Kauai, Hawaii as well; they are all part of our Holiday Homes collection of vacation rental homes.

You can't beat the location of the Iron Mountain Loft - right below is the high-end Alder Grocery store which is locally owned and enormous as well as the Brigette Restaurant with an outdoor patio. The City center of Canmore is just a 10-minute walk along the creek path. The vibrant Elevation Place recreation center with a swimming pool, climbing wall and fitness rooms is just a 10-minute walk.

Some of the world's best hiking is found in Kananaskis Provincial Park - all within a 10-20-minute drive. Paddleboard, kayak or raft on the Bow River while surrounded by the most beautiful mountains! Downhill ski at Sunshine, Lake Louise or Norquay for a full Rocky Mountain powder experience with so many sunny days! We absolutely love skiing at Sunshine - such a short drive and it's almost always sunny with spectacular scenery. Cross-country ski trails are also so close - just 10 minutes to the Olympic Nordic ski center with trails for all levels. If you like to get outside, Canmore has everything you want.

Perfect Canmore Getaway

This property is amazing, and we had a fantastic week in Canmore! Modern, cozy mountain style with lots of space. Every part of this property is wonderful - the kitchen and living room, the bathrooms, the bedrooms, and the balcony. The views are awesome, it's stocked with so many things you need, and it's in a wonderful location. Quiet, pretty, and easy to get to town along lovely walking paths. The hosts are on top of everything with great communication. We highly recommend and hope to come back here again next year!!

Amazing unit!

This was easily one of the nicest and best supplied units we have rented! It was exactly as advertised and is located in a perfect location…incredibly clean and spacious. Hosts were excellent with communication and provided plenty of instruction when needed. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Family vacation

Our stay at Iron Mountain Loft was absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the beautiful mountain views and the thoughtfully curated decor that perfectly complemented the setting. The condo was so clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals with ease. One of the biggest perks was being in the same building as Bridgette Bar—an absolute gem! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were outstanding, making it so easy to grab a delicious meal or unwind with a craft cocktail without having to go far.This rental is a true mountain retreat, offering breathtaking views, top-notch amenities, and unbeatable convenience. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect getaway!

This is the best place to stay in Canmore

Our group of 6 adults had an excellent stay at the Iron Lodge in February 2025. The presentation pictures are great, but the reality is spectacular. Every detail was well thought, and exceeded our expectations. Tastefully decorated with high end furniture and decor, comfortable beds, linens, heated balcony, the chef's kitchen, the view from the balcony... an outstanding experience. We will definitely come again. I recommend this place wholeheartedly. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful space!

Nice unit with outstanding view

Stayed her for 5 nights and really enjoyed the location and the impressive Decor and size of the unit. It is well located close to town and the view from the balcony couldn’t get much better. It is well stocked and communication from the owner was timely and helpful. Ideal for a family getaway or a couple of couples getting away.

Intro to the Rockies

We spent three very enjoyable days touring Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise with our daughter and 3 yr. old grandson. Iron Mountain loft was comfortable with beautiful views and as advertised, fully equipped! We recommend!

Perfect Mountain Retreat – Highly Recommend!

Excellent stay at this property with my husband and three friends. The unit was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect—while we loved exploring Banff, we found Canmore to be charming and less touristy, yet it still provided all the amenities we needed. Its proximity to the highway made it easy to access the beauty of Banff National Park. The unit was spotless, and the decor was just what you'd want for a mountain getaway. Communication with the host was timely and much appreciated. The space was well-stocked, from the kitchen to the bedrooms, ensuring we had everything we needed. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the porch, enjoying the mountain views with the heaters on and listening to the peaceful sound of the water feature below. Everything about this unit was perfection, and we would highly recommend it!

Beautiful place, excellent location!

The condo is beautifully appointed, the views from the deck are amazing, and it is only a short walk to downtown. Owners are super helpful and responsive. And Canmore is a wonderful town. If you visit, stay here!!

Attention to detail

Our family of 8 stayed a week here. The property is the epitome of casual luxury. All the finishes and furnishings are great quality, and exceptionally comfortable. We had a mix of people, some spent most days at the condo while others went out hiking, biking and exploring. For those that stayed in, the condo had everything they needed. For the outdoors people, it was a perfect place yo come back to for relaxation and recharging after a full day of activities. We enjoyed being steps from miles of paths and trails that had anything from a stroll to town to some challenging hiking trails.

Great Stay with 1.5 yr old

Much quieter than Banff. Great location with access to walking paths and playgrounds. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal and all of the appliances are very nice. The deck and views were great too! Highly recommend staying at this property.

Canmore Dream

Iron Mountain Loft exceeded our expectations! Gorgeous property, incredible views, beautifully appointed. Perfect for our family vacation to explore Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise with our adult children. Loved the Spring Creek neighborhood that we were in, very well laid out community. Lots of beautiful walking/biking trails everywhere. My whole family was talking about moving to Canmore at the end of the trip!

Great space in wonderful area

This property is great as it has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Two of the bedrooms are ensuite and there is a full bath across the hall from the other bedroom. Great decor and fully stocked kitchen. Walkable to downtown Canmore.

Canmore did not disappoint

This property is exactly as advertised. The unit is very spacious, well-appointed, and you can't beat the view. We also liked the location with the town center being within walking distance. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals. Communication with property manager and owners was great. I'm sure if I needed something, they would have taken care of it right away (but we didn't!).

Beautiful space with gorgeous views

Canmore with family

Great location and exceptional condo. Probably the best stocked condo:house we have ever rented. Family of 5 adults and everyone had plenty of room. The views are amazing. Local restaurants were excellent and we were close to skiing and hiking. Banff has become so crowded that I found Canmore very enjoyable. My first time staying there. Our hosts were great. You cannot go wrong here. There is a lot of construction in Canmore but not too annoying. The only negative was there was a guest or owner below us with a dog that barked a lot starting in the morning. Again, that is absolutely the only thing that was not perfect about our stay.

Amazing condo

Wonderful Stay with Family!

Wonderful “home base” on our family trip to Canmore! Beautifully furnished and decorated, the space had everything we needed and even some things we didn’t realize that we would need! We travelled with two young children so the included pack and play and high chair were a huge bonus! Location can’t be beat, close to many walks/hikes as well as restaurants and bars. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a vacation rental and hope to return in the future!

We purchased the Iron Mountain Loft Penthouse because it's the premier suite in the Tamarack with unobstructed south-west views of the Rocky Mountains. With the pond below and the skating rink in the winter, those views will never disappear! We stayed all around Canmore and chose the Spring Creek area because the neighbourhood is beautifully maintained with professional landscaping, wide boulevards, beautiful rustic buildings and pathways to the town. The Tamarack is one of the few buildings in Spring Creek and Canmore that legally allow vacation rentals. We love walking along the creek to town - it's just 10 minutes away and a beautiful walk.
