Mike's place was awesome!! The location was in a very safe and nice area. One minor flaw was that I couldn't get the tv to work, but the weather was perfect. Didn’t need the tv... easy check in, place is great for one or two people. Very clean!! I had a chance to meet Mike and he was so pleasant and so accommodating. I highly recommend Mike's place.

Great Stay

As advertised for sure, great for a couple. No hassle check in, Mike is easy to communicate with. Parking right out front. Felt very safe in the neighborhood, we walked to all the bars and restaurants in minutes. People are very friendly in Wilton Manor for sure. Location is close to everything you could want including highways and beaches. Would recommend to all.

Pleasant

We were down for a surgical procedure. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is because the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. We ended up sleeping on the couch for most of the stay. Owner was very quick to help or answer anything we needed. We were within 20 min to anything we wanted to do. Overall would stay again if mattress was changed.

Bait and switch duplicity

The description reads: "NO CLEANING FEES!" However, after of the trip is over I received a claim against me for an unreasonable amount for some sheets that were 'ruined' by a small stain that could easily be bleached out by anyone competent with a washing machine. I don't think it's ok to tell people no cleaning fees, then turn around and try charging someone any sort of fee for anything pertaining to cleaning. especially not to try and have the company automatically push it through and strong-arm someone. very poor experience will not be using this service again.

Hosts Beware: I have reached out multiple times through messaging and by phone to explain to Brandon that I am not charging a cleaning fee. The fee that I am charging is to replace my sheets that he ruined. There is no way to get the stains out and my request was for $35 (which he calls unreasonable) to replace the sheets. I take pride in offering a clean place with clean bedding and would never offer stained sheets to a guest because a previous guest damaged them. Brandon, if you read this and are still confusing a cleaning fee and a charge for replacing my sheets that you ruined i am not sure how else to explain this to you. Brandon offered to replace my sheets with a cheaper set and still has not sent them. I will share with you the note Brandon wrote me before I notified him immediately after he checked out: (Hey Mike yes Sir keys should be back in the box and it's all locked up and tidied thank you again so much for the place it was super cute and once I'm to my next destination will definitely leave you a stellar review. Have a good rest of your weekend and thanks again!)

It all starts with the location! The Retro cottage is located only 2 blocks from Wilton Drive making it a unique way to experience the vibrant city of Wilton Manors also known as The Island City. Wilton Manors is a safe, beautiful and charming city filled with many restaurants, bars and nightlife mostly located in Wilton Drive. The Retro Cottage has a cozy feel and offers a nice private fenced in nature garden and patio. 50" Smart TV and Wifi allows you to browse the web or relax and watch movies. Full kitchen will let you cook at home and there is a Sprouts Grocery store down the street within walking distance.
