Perfect for a family reunion getaway or corporate retreat, this space provides an incredible waterfront experience and nature in abundance. Beautifully decorated and just one hour from the Spokane airport, you can expect to enjoy the best of vacation amenities in your private retreat.

Sleeps 21 and features two full kitchens, two living rooms, an office suite (with access to amenities, including Starlink internet, 4-in-1 printer and desk), and breathtaking views from almost every room.

Accommodating for large groups, the upstairs dining space also seats 20+ and offers an outdoor patio with comfy furniture, fire pit, space heaters and gas grill.

Tons of opportunity for recreation, and perfect for anyone who loves the water. Bring your boat (or rent one from a local vendor) for waterskiing, fishing or sight-seeing.
Guests can also enjoy a rec room with ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard and darts, and outdoor games such as bocce ball or bean bag toss.

This space offers incredible access to nature, including bald eagles, bighorn sheep, and wild horses. Enjoy incredible hiking while taking in the sounds of over 230 species of birds. Once you're in for the night, make sure to use the high power telescope to explore constellations, or the Milky Way.

Had a wonderful time. Loved the home. Do wish we had more bath linens and curtains to keep sun out for late risers, but the facility was amazing.

The house is exactly as it looks. Lots of space to spread out with upstairs and downstairs living rooms and kitchens, two large dining tables, plenty of refrigerator space upstairs, downstairs and in the garage. Everything was perfect and it made our family reunion even more special.

Perfect house for 19 of us, ages 1-84! The layout was exceptional. Places for groups to be loud and play games while others could gather in quieter spaces and even nap. The walls were soundproof!Beautiful views out of all those windows.The beach and all those water toys were a highlight for most of us. A great reunion place!

I’ve been talking to everyone I know about this place. I can’t think of a better location on that beautiful lake. We had the perfect family reunion and everyone fell in love with the house, the scenery, and the crystal clear water. The owners thought of everything and were awesome to work with. My new favorite vacation in Washington!

Incredibly beautiful home and land. Our family is so grateful for this sacred space. We talk and look forward to our time together all year long. Everything you need and more is available in this wonderfully appointed home. The owners are gracious and so helpful.

Perfect for Large Family Gathering

This beautiful home was perfect for our large family gathering. There was lots of open space to be together plus lots of separate spaces to play a quiet game with a cousin or two. No matter where you went in the home the views were spectacular. The bedrooms were large and roomie and done with excellence. We had everything we needed and then some. We plan to book this again for our next family gathering and would recommend it to anyone. It was well worth the price.

Amazing property

It was a unanimous verdict by all family members that this was the best location we have had for our many family reunion trips. The house had room for everyone to have a bedroom, with great communal areas. House/kitchen was the well equipped with everything needed. Boat launch close by. Kids were in the water all day or on a boat, kayak or fishing. Great place!!

THird visit to Whitestone Rock Retreat

Our family has camped at Lake Roosevelt for over 30 years.Our current needs are better met in a house and this one is in the perfect location for us - just across the bay from one of our favorite camping beaches. Our stay was wonderful yet again.

Family vacation

We love the house — beautiful view, awesome kitchen and dining, and perfect bedrooms. Downside for our fishing, water-loving family is water access and less than ideal watercraft moorage. We stayed here two years because the house is so perfect for our family of 20.

Perfect relaxation getaway

This property is the perfect place to get away from it all. So serene and peaceful. The property is very spacious. Loved all the spots to lounge. At night there are no surrounding city lights so the night sky is abundant with stars.

The most gorgeous home away from home!

We were so, so happy with our stay. It was the perfect getaway that we needed. With ample movies to watch, games to play, and outdoor space to take in.. we really got to enjoy each others company. They had everything we could have needed during our time there. Any questions that did come up, they answered immediately. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay!

Second time around

Absolutely wonderful property

Upon arrival, one of our group commented that this property was as close to heaven as she could get in this life - lake, water, family. The property was ideal for our group. From water activities to games around the table to early morning and late night chats on the deck, the property was perfect. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets framed the spectacular night sky and stars. The beach was clean and wonderful for water activities (we had two boats and a PWC). Access to space in the garage to sort through our toys was a bonus. The property was well equipped for our stay, including some water toys supplied by the hosts. The pictures and description on VRBO accurately depict the home and we were honored to have the opportunity to experience the property. We would love to come back someday.

Wonderful getaway

I’d rate this 4.5 stars because the access to the beach area is pretty difficult. We had a few adults in our group who couldn’t do it. Children would have difficulty too. The dirt road to the house is narrow and our cars were covered in dust even going super slow. I’m still giving this place 5 stars on the official rating because it’s gorgeous and clean with windows lining every room with a view of the lake. Rooms are spacious with nice linens, nice thick towels and plenty of king beds and bathrooms. Plenty of dishes and silverware. We loved the place! Some negatives/ suggestions I have for the owner or future guests who plan to cook a lot (and it’s very remote so plan to cook!!) you need some large bowls (there’s nothing to serve chips or a large family sized salad in), there are no muffin pans and only one cake pan. Also beware of the fan over the stove- every single person in our group hit their heads at least once because it’s in the worst possible place to cook if you are over 5’8”! The ice maker in the fridge didn’t work but luckily we always bring our own table top ice maker because that seems to be a common thing in rentals. Bring ice trays or bags of ice! None of this made our experience bad but I like to let others know what to expect.

Beautiful views from most rooms!

Overall great stay. 19 family members aged 53 to 11 months. Walk to beach is a liitle steep but was doable. The views were amazing!

Family retreat

We had a wonderful time. House was perfect for our group of 10 adults and 9 kids aged 7-17. When asked if they would like to go back next year everyone said yes, so we are booked for a year from now.

Very nice getaway house

Our family had a great getaway stay at this house. Beautiful view from almost every room in the house overlooking the Columbia River. The house is clean, spacious, and nice for a large family retreat. Our stay was during the winter and the unplowed road made it difficult to reach the house, two of our cars did not make it all the way. Overall, we enjoyed this beautiful place.

An Absolute Dream Spot

Where to begin. This majestic home is even better than the photos show. You and all your guests will be transported to a to an enchanted getaway deeply nestled in nature. With a min. walk to the water, this location is the perfect sport for rejuvenation and reconnecting with nature. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive. We needed items shipped ahead of our arrival and they made sure to put those items aside for use (2-3 deliveries) The home is spacious and the views are priceless. If we come out this way again, we will be going direct to Lake Roosevelt's Whitestone Rock Retreat. A+++

A Wonderful Reunion Spot

We had an amazing time with our friends and family for a five year wedding anniversary reunion. The location was great, very beautiful views out of every window. We loved hanging out on the beach and the big kitchen was great for preparing communal meals. Would definitely stay here again.
