This is a grown up playhouse with fair rules and offering great times in a mountain setting. Plenty of room for 22, 30 ish year olds reuniting over sports. Host is also a super effective communicator! SB

We 4 families have stayed here with different ages. All have enjoyed the stay. Property is very clean and lot of games to play for kids and adults. David is very responsive through the process. We will come back for another stay.

We did a corporate offsite here with 6 employees. The place was immaculate, and all of the advertised activities were available along with all of the required equipment. I'd definitely go again and I'm recommending this to all of my friends/colleagues.

Great House - Great venue

We had 23 people aged 1-72. Family reunion with five families, 11 adults, 12 kids. Great property with plenty of sleeping space, amazing outdoor and indoor activities, and beautiful setting. Host was great! 10/10.

Great property with tons of amenities

Lots to do and lots of space. We put 16 adults into this house, and probably could've bumped it up to 18-20ish, but with all grown-ups I wouldn't recommend more than that.David was a responsive & communicative host.

Huge space for lots of activities

Over 20 people, aged 7 to 52, stayed at the accommodation for a week. Bring earplugs for sleeping if others intend on being active throughout the night, otherwise, the place is darn near perfect. There were so many things to do, we didn't get a chance to do them all!

Family Gathering

We had 21 family members for an American Thanksgiving holiday. We had a fabulous time! So much to do…we needed an extra day to play everything! With all the bedrooms and bathrooms, our 3 night stay was very comfortable. David, our host, was extremely responsive to any questions we had. A beautiful area and such a lovely property!

Family Reunion

Our family of 38 enjoyed a memorable 4 days at the Maple Rock Resort. There was no shortage of activities for everyone ages 2-70 we even held a Family Olympics. Everything was in close proximity and easy to access so we didn't worry about the little ones wandering off. Such a peaceful forest setting with deer, bunnies and birds right outside your window. Thanks David for all your efforts to make this a great place.

Great place for a group retreat. One of a kind Gem.

Our group had a wonderful time at the place! Highlights included the fantastic spa area and the basketball/pickleball court, which were a big hit. The kids loved all the games around the house, and several people really enjoyed the golf simulator. Parents especially appreciated how kid-friendly the space was, with nothing easily breakable. Even the older members of our group found something to enjoy, like exploring the nearby trails. It’s rare to find a place that truly has something for everyone, and we’re already excited to come back! Thanks again for a memorable stay.

We all had a wonderful time

We were a big group of family friends from 3 to 57 year old and stayed there four nights. We all had a great time and had fun from early morning to the mid night. The indoor and outdoor has been designed for entertainment and you can do whatever you like. It is maintained very well. The only thing that we didn’t like was checking out at 10:00 am because we had to lose one of our day by leaving at 10:00 am.

Family reunion 2023

My family chose this place to all be together under one roof. We had a blast spawning time playing all the fun games. The property is large enough that people can get breaks or spaces. The walking trails, bocce kids play area all kept us busy and close to beach. Only minor issue for us was that one oven wasn’t working so we only had 1 for 35+ ppl but we made it work. The hist was super responsive and helpful leading up to and during stay we would definitely come back and recommend others to choose this property!

We rented this property for a combined bachelor/bachelorette weekend with 29 guests and communicated our group size to the host 3 times before arrival. When we checked in, only nine beds were made. We spent the first hour searching closets for linens, pulling out extra mattress, and making beds ourselves. When we asked about it, we were directed to the linen closet to finish preparing the beds. Given that the property advertises accommodations for much larger groups, we expected it to be ready for the number of guests in our reservation.The second kitchen was completely empty, no dishes, silverware, cookware, or cups. Which meant we had to carry everything back and forth from the main kitchen.Several advertised amenities were broken or poorly maintained, including the treadmill, air hockey table, sports equipment, and outdoor games. We also found cobwebs, spiders, and dead flies throughout the house, door handles repeatedly came loose, and there were very few washcloths or hand towels for a large group.The indoor gym and game areas did not match the listing photos. Equipment was scattered, some nets were broken, and we couldn’t even find all of the pieces needed for some of the games.The property has great potential and worked well for a large group, but for a premium-priced rental we expected it to better match the listing and be fully prepared for our arrival.

I’m sorry for your experience. You are definitely correct that everything should be ready when you arrive. We don’t make the floor mattresses or sofa beds. Our groups use the beds differently. Sometimes couples share a bed and sometimes floor mattresses aren’t used. It wouldn’t be practical for us to make all the beds so we won’t change that. The commercial treadmill works perfectly. After turning it on you must apply the magnet on the string. (It’s a safety feature on all commercial tread mills.) This massive property has over 100 amenities. It’s really hard to keep everything 100% functional at all times but we hear you and we need to do a better job. Sports equipment requires constant upkeep and replacement. I will personally visit the property and go through everything. Again we are sorry. You were great guests and if you chose us again we will give you a 25% discount.

we had fun

Had a great time on the property, lots of fun for a group of 15-20. Hot tub was great, and the dodgeball/hockey area was a blast. 5/5 would stay again!
