Enjoy Urban Living at our Steel City Getaway!

Coming to Pittsburgh but need more space than a hotel? Well, ditch the hotel or your in law's home and book this amazing home in the Squirrel Hill Neighborhood. With great access to downtown Pittsburgh, PNC Park and Heinz Field you'll love this for sporting events. Just a short 3 mile drive the Carnegie Mellon and University of Pittsburgh; so, whether your coming in for a weekend to see your college student or need a spot for graduation the Steel City Getaway will not disappoint. Don't forget to visit the Heinz History Center, Carnegie Natural History Museum or the Warhol!

This home has exceptional WIFI/Internet, solid cell service and a dedicated office, so, if you have to work from home you are covered. The Steel City getaway boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Did we say that it has a 1st Floor Master Bedroom? Yes, it does!

You will certainly enjoy the inside with large living room and open concept kitchen but be sure to check out the backyard with raised deck and gas grill!

There is 1 off-street dedicated parking spot at this home; but, there is free (first come, first serve parking) on street. Off-street parking can be a challenge, so, you might not get a spot right by the house; but, it's always free!

Guest understands that there is security "ring door bell" camera type located at the front entrance of the home to monitor access/egress.

Property was very clean, well stocked. Close to downtown convention center. We traveled with three generations of family members with plenty of space for everyone. There was an outdoor seating area. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

The house was very clean. Seating in the living room was a little sparse for the number of bedrooms, but otherwise the house was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

This home was spotlessly clean! It has been upgraded beautifully and I think it looks better in person than in pictures. The offstreet parking was tight for a mid-sized car but we loved not having to worry about finding parking on the street. The back yard was perfect for our little dachshund to go out in and she was thrilled to see (and threaten) so many squirrels on her daily walk. The kitchen chairs were slightly saggy/uncomfortable, but we just put a pillow on them and they were fine. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to stay!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We are fortunate to offer an off-street parking space, but guests can also utilize the free street parking as well. The yard is the perfect size for small dogs! Thank you for letting us know about the kitchen chairs, they may be starting to show signs of wear from renters over the years and will need replacing. Thanks for staying with us!

The house was clean and spacious with plenty of well appointed bedrooms. It was a quick commute to various activities around the city, which allowed us to do a wide variety of activities. The backyard was peaceful albeit small. Our only difficulties were having enough room for all 5 of us to sit and lounge together on our cross generation trip (both inside and outside), and the kitchen was not as well appointed (with cooking materials) as I am used to in other VRBOs. The 2 master bedrooms were perfect for our group, especially the first floor bedroom for the grandparents on our trip. Overall, an amazing location close to the city but also peaceful and relaxing.

Thank you for the note on the kitchen amenities - it seems some of our kitchen items have gone missing over the course of the year and we are working to get replacements so we will be well-stocked again! Thanks for staying with us!
