My son plays baseball for KU and was playing at the Field of Dreams, this property was directly across from the field in the perfect location. The property is so well kept and clean. It’s the cutest house and was perfect for us, my in laws and my parents! Would absolutely recommend!

The home is large and very comfortably furnished. Kitchen was very well stocked for casual dinners to a formal affair…There is a cozy room in the basement furnished with comfortable seating, television and exercise equipment… Need to do some business while there there is a small office area tucked away in a corner of the family room. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean..Both of the bathrooms aer a good size and clean. There are two coffee makers in the kitchen and a wide selection..One thing to keep in mind if you like cream in your coffee bring it with you…There are a few packets furnished but wasn’t enough….I you are coming for Baseball you can walk to the Field of Dreams …..If you are traveling to Dyersville this is definitely a property you should stay.

We'd highly recommend this home - our visit the Dyersville for the Field of Dreams baseball tournament was much more pleasant having such a great "home base" to operate out of. The proximity to the in town fields, and the actual Field was ideal, even though the home was not in the city limits. The home was sized perfectly for 2 families of 4, and all of the anticipated amenities were present and available. The hosts had lots of great suggestions about resources in the area, and the communication before was great. We really enjoyed our stay - and look forward to next year!

This house was perfect for our weekend baseball tournament! There was plenty of room for us to hang out when we weren’t at the ball field and we had everything we needed and more. The house is clean and very cozy. We loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings while the kids played on the swing set and played with Willow. Sharon was very easy to communicate with and answered very quickly. We walked to the field of dreams several times. It was a wonderful stay and we will for sure stay here again if we come back!

We stayed there in 2023 and again this year - our Boys love it! It's a great place to stay during our baseball tournaments at Field of Dreams. Plenty of room for the Kids to play Blitzball, cookout and have families over. The Ameskamps are great people and hopefully we'll be back next year.

The house is completely warm and inviting clean and beautiful. The property is well-maintained and we sat by the fire pit down by the creek played with Willow the dog. Everything was just wonderful and perfect!

Wonderful family farmhouse

Great farmhouse near Field of Dreams. Very clean, comfortable and well-kept inside and out. We stayed here for a baseball tournament, worked great for multiple families and was a nice spot to relax between games. The owner is incredibly responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Best VRBO stay ever!

Stayed here for a grandson’s team Baseball Tournament at The Field of Dreams - literally right across the street down a path through a field ! The cleanest place we have ever stayed and loved the property ‘s dog Willow .The town of Dyersville is the cutest and the people were so friendly. Hubby and I both grew up in small“Everyone knows everyone” towns and were sent back in time when the waitress at the diner knew the owners of the house!

Great House!

Super clean house located very close to Field of Dreams. The owners stay on the property (they are pretty far away from the house) in an RV/shed and come and go, which I didn’t expect, but do not interfere with your stay. The house was perfect and we could not have asked for a better place to stay while in town visiting family. We would definitely come again and are grateful for being able to stay in their beautiful home.

Baseball Tournament Stay

This property is nothing but amazing! The owners were so accommodating to lettings us check in a day early checking in on us. Willow was amazing the kids could not wait to get up in the morning to go see her. I have stayed at several VRBO's before and by far this one topped the cake with comfortable beds and room for everyone. We had a camper parked at the camp site and fire area was amazing. We will stay again if we are in the area.
