Updated 3 bed, 2 bath home minutes to the beach, indoor & outdoor pools, hot tub, splash pad, fishing, dog park, playground, basketball/tennis courts, ball fields and fitness center (additional fee). Sleeps 6-8 with new mattresses. Includes gated security and use of golf cart with access to private beach parking (licensed drivers only), WiFi with smart TVs and/or firestick in bedrooms and den, washer/dryer, towels/linens, beach chairs, sand toys, boogie board, beach umbrella, fishing rod, scooters, kids bike and pack n play. Starter pack of coffee, dishwasher tabs, toiletries supplied. Eat-in kitchen with granite, SS range, fridge w/ ice maker, dishwasher, microwave & equipped with cookware, utensils, dishes, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, etc. Bedroom lamps have USB ports. Close to restaurants, golf course, mini golf, water park, shops and more. No smoking in the home. Dogs welcome! All guests must complete and sign a rental agreement and provide valid photo ID to finalize their reservation.

A great place to stay

The location is perfect. The neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. Everyone is so friendly. The proximity to the beach is great. The home itself matched the description. The only problem that I had was the master bathroom is quite small and the shower would not be able to accommodate a larger person. However, you can just make use of the shower in the secondary bathroom. We had an amazing vacation. Thank you so much.

Our stay at this beach house was okay, but thankfully we only used it for sleeping and showering, as we were fortunate to have family staying in another house within Oceanside Village. That being said, this particular rental was not what we expected based on the VRBO listing.The description and photos on VRBO are misleading. The home is essentially a two bedroom one bathroom single wide trailer with a bedroom and bathroom added on. This detail is not clear in the listing.The central AC struggled to keep the house cool, even with multiple fans running in every room. The added bedroom and bathroom has a separate wall-mounted AC unit, but it failed to keep that area cool as well. There was a noticeable musty smell throughout the home. Also the laundry room is not inside the house—it’s located outside on the backside of the trailer, with no exterior lighting leading to it, making it inconvenient.The beds were uncomfortable, though tolerable for our stay. Another odd detail was the lack of lighting in the living room—there were no lamps or ceiling lights, only lighting in the kitchen area.While we truly enjoy Oceanside Village and all the amenities it offers, this specific house is not a property I would stay in again. It served its basic purpose, but it fell short of expectations. The golf cart was great to have, the location is great to the beach access and the pool area. Parking was tight with 2 cars. Check in was easy and convenient.

Debbie was great with communication, and we really enjoyed having the golf cart during our stay. The house was fairly well stocked with the basics. The listing mentioned beach umbrellas, which unfortunately were not there when we arrived. Thankfully, Debbie had someone bring one by so we could enjoy the beautiful beach. We also really loved the gated community and the overall location.There were a few issues that made our stay less enjoyable. The indoor pool was being renovated, and we were not notified ahead of time. This was a major disappointment because the indoor pool was one of the main reasons we booked this place. It did rain during our trip, and with three kids to entertain, not having access to the indoor pool made things more difficult.The house had a strong moldy smell that made it feel uncomfortable. The air conditioning in the master bedroom was not working for most of our stay, and the beds were extremely firm. It felt more like staying in a shack than a vacation home. While the price was lower than some other options, we had friends nearby who paid just a little more and stayed in places that were much nicer. Looking back, we would have preferred to spend a bit more for a better experience.The owner mentioned she hadn’t visited the property in a while. Hopefully she plans to check on it soon and consider a deep cleaning and some updates.We really loved Oceanside Village and plan to come back, but we would not stay in this house again.

1. Mold--- when we arrived we were hit with a musty, moldy smell. There was mold and mildew in both bathrooms. The ceiling in the kitchen had a large moldy area. The sub flooring was sinking due to water damage. 2. Dirty dishes --there were dirty dishes, glasses and silverware in the cabinets.. The dishwasher appeared to still have the soap pod in the dispenser. I'm assuming the dishes were taken out of the dishwasher not washed. 3. Dirty couch -the pull out sofa in the TV room smelled of cat urine immensely. 4. AC vents loose --The air conditioning vents were broken. 5. Bathrooms --The master bathroom toilet seat was broken & filthy. The master bath sink cabinet was covered in mold. The 2nd bathroom, the tub lining was peeling, 6. Linens--We were given six small bath towels (6 people) Only one kitchen towel was provided. 7. The toaster was nonfunctional. It caught on fire. 8. Nonfunctional oven & could not be replaced until the day we were leaving. 9. Roaches --we found a few roaches crawling on the kitchen counter, 10. Doors--Both doors did not latch. 11. No AC in master bedroom for 3 days until we found the remote that was behind the dresser. 12. Electrical smell with light switches in master bedroom. 13. Lack of smoke detectors or did not work. 14. Third Bedroom flooring peeling up and caused several people to trip. We brought these issues to the management company & asked for a partial refund but was denied.

Phillips Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time and the home had all anyone would need on vacation, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a great kitchen, and laundry area. It was such a quiet neighborhood and the other residents were so friendly and you could walk around the neighborhood and feel safe and your grandchildren could feel safe with a guard at the gate and security patrolling the inside areas. The beach was not crowded and the availability of a golf cart for us older folks was great. We would most definitely like to stay there again and would recommend it to our family and friend.
