Sunlit Home with Spacious Kitchen

Our spacious 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is perfect for a large family (or two!) to have fun and feel comfortable while exploring Colorado. There are 3 parks in the neighborhood and an outdoor patio for dining on warm summer nights. The large finished basement offers bonus space for work, play or additional sleeping area for kids. We are located along the Coal Creek Trail and a short distance from everything that Boulder County has to offer -- whether it be mountain hikes, tubing, dining and more.

Great house for family vacation

Our family vacation in Colorado at this Lafayette home was lovely. Our family includes six adults, 1 teenager, 1 tween & a 5-year-old. Our original VRBO canceled a month before our stay and thankfully we found this place as a replacement on very short notice - and we were pleasantly surprised! There were plenty of rooms to accommodate our group comfortably. The toys on the lower level were a welcome addition and thoroughly enjoyed by the kids. The kitchen was large and well stocked with everything we needed (and more), and we happily used the amenities provided. The full size bath products were used and appreciated. Overall, this was a very well stocked rental with top of the line products. The house and neighborhood are in an excellent location, located just a short drive from shopping, restaurants and gas. The neighborhood hiking trails & park for the kids were a pleasant diversion, and we enjoyed a few early-morning sunrises with a cup of coffee (when we visited in July, we were also blessed to see a few hot-air balloons dotting the morning sky). The host also provided an extensive list of things to do and restaurants to visit and we tried & enjoyed many of her suggestions. Some minor issues: Our family uses multiple devices (smartphones & tablets) and our connections strained the internet speed; we had slow connectivity which contributed to streaming problems a few times. After reading her suggestions on how to use the washer we decided to do our laundry one evening at a local laundromat rather than at the house. The lower level of the home was much cooler compared to the rest of the house, but there were plenty of extra blankets in the upstairs closet to help with that. The master bedroom upstairs had no closet to hang clothes in. For a full house with all rooms occupied, this may be an issue for some travellers. In spite of these minor issues, our family really enjoyed our time here and we would certainly return for a future stay!

Beautiful Neighborhood with 3 parks nearby, walking distance to shops and restaurants and adjacent to a path that leads to the Coal Creek Trail. Neighbors are also all amazing.

Very spacious home with plenty of sleeping areas plus playspace for children. We also have toys, books, games and puzzles to keep the kids entertained.
