Gull Cottage - Oregon Beach Vacations

Gull Cottage is a large beachfront home designed with family fun in mind!

This spacious family-friendly rental offers panoramic ocean views from both the living room and the large wrap-around deck, ensuring you can enjoy the scenery in any weather. The living room provides ample seating, allowing the entire family to gather comfortably.

The fully equipped kitchen features updated appliances and everything you need to prepare meals for your group. If you'd rather dine out, plenty of restaurants in Pacific City are just a short drive away!

Step out onto the large wrap-around deck, complete with picnic tables, lounge chairs, and a BBQ grill for guest use. A cornhole set is also available for guests to enjoy some friendly outdoor competition. From the deck, descend the stairs directly onto the shifting sand dunes. These dunes create a private area for families to enjoy the sand without the wind and crowds of the beach. A short walk through the native beach grasses will take you to Pacific City's famous beach.

The upper floor has primary bedroom has a beautiful with a river view, full bath, and a king bed. The 2nd bedroom has a river view and queen bed.

Head downstairs to find the 3rd bedroom with two sets of bunk beds, TV, and an adjacent full bath with walk-in shower. The 4th bedroom has a queen bed.

A ping pong table adds another option for active fun, perfect for guests of all ages to enjoy together.

We had the best time ever at this beach rental. So close to the beach and the big windows were spectacular to watch the ocean and waves. A very private location. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. We have already booked this house for our next beach trip in the spring!

There was pee stains on the carpet and the house smelled really musty. The windows were really dirty, so we washed them. The lid to the coffee pot was broken and the microwave was also broken (to get the door to open after heating something, we had to unplug it and plug it in again). The path to the beach was not passable and there weren't and outside lights around the deck. The house did have an awesome view. We enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't rent it again.

Except for front room, house was shabby and in poor repair. Musty bedroom in basement. Tv, internet, and dishwasher inoperable. Bedroom carpet stained and torn. Manager was friendly, on-site maintenance man was friendly, but waiting for repairmen is not my idea of a vacation. Given that, outrageously overpriced.

Small things go a long way

It was a short stay, but it went beyond my expectations. The place was tidy and kept well. There were a few concerns with how old-looking the heaters were, but they went away as soon as we felt the hose heat up very fast. Great for the elders who were staying with us. The location was also great for them. They didn't want to go to the beach, but still wanted to see it. The back patio was perfect for that. We also had two dogs, which enjoyed their time at the stay. The location was easy for them to get to the beach without injury and they love to run out in the open beach. Thank you for this stay 🙏

Nice view

We loved the deck and ocean view. The bbq and fire pit were convenient. Things we did not like were two broken windows, missing screens for windows and broken blinds. We had to open all the windows because the house was musty. The downstairs had a mildew and urine smell. For the price we paid, I think these things should be replaced and add extra blankets, throws and beach towels to the list. The view was really amazing!

Beautiful house, barely any beach access

This house was beautiful. All of the windows made the view outstanding! It was well decorated and really made you feel cozy and at home. The wrap around porch was so awesome as well as the master suite. I appreciated the cookware inventory, there was something for anything we wanted to make. Being out of there by 10am was a bit stressful and difficult to meet, got out like 10min till. I was very appreciative that the check out instructions didn't involve sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming!! The sun made the house heat up very quickly and there didn't seem to be an AC, so the house got very warm in the late afternoon. The shower downstairs has fuzzy black mold growing in all of its seems and is so tiny with no airflow, so I would have to hold the glass door open with my foot while I showered so I can breathe lol. Never being to this area, we had no idea that beach access was difficult from the homes, there was no indication that there was a cliff in the path to the beach. We had grandma and grandpa with us whom didn't get to enjoy the very purpose of getting a beach house, it really dampened the trip and our plans for the weekend.

Wonderful

We had a great time at this property. Had everything we needed and plenty of space for our family of 6. Rained the whole time but the wall of windows made for amazing storm watching. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Family Reunion at the Beach

The house was perfect for our weekend at the beach. Our group had nine adults and there was plenty of room for us. I cooked all our meals there in the kitchen had everything I needed. The views from the house of the beach and ocean were magnificent. You can walk from the house on the beach to the pelican brewery, which was a lot of fun. You have to climb down a steep sand embankment to get to the beach, but we were all able to do it. However, it might be challenging for some people.

Galentines Getaway

We had a great time enjoying the view! House was clean and easily accessible. The dune has been battered by storms and so the path from the house to the beach ends at a steep cliff which you are unable to climb down. Instead, we walked south on the road to the Bob Straub park entrance and got onto the beach there. Other than that slight inconvenience, our stay was lovely!

Early Oct. Beauty

Beautiful ocean views and beach access. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend utilizing this house and the deck. The only complaint is when we went to use the vacuum in the closet to clean up some sand, we had to turn it off right away because a horrible smell was coming from it, like it had been used to vacuum up something nasty. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Made for a fantastic, relaxing weekend. Thank you!
