We had a spectacular ocean view! You can’t get a better view on this beach! The house has lots of room to spread out and an amazing wrap around deck. We were able to walk down to the Cape Kiwanda tide pools and giant sand dune. It is also walking distance to shops and restaurants. And the host was very helpful and responded quickly.

The location is excellent. Just beware of any issues you may have. The property manager is 25 minutes away and is sometimes nice, often very defensive. They can snap up your damage deposit and you will have no recourse.

An unsupervised toddler was able to lock himself in the bathroom.. and the guests broke the door down. I was within ten minutes of arriving. There was a special key above the door that would have unlocked it but everyone was too frantic to listen. Which is understandable.... We are very sorry this happened however we had to repair the door before the next guests arrived. We are sorry we had to take your damage deposit.. We do not do this often at all.. Again, very sorry!!! Thank you

The weather was stormy, but the marvelous view and comfortable home made our trip very nice. Plenty of games, great local information, and a home that provided for all our needs made for a memorable time. A coastal storm is exciting if you stay in a place like this.

This was our third stay and we look forward to another August visit next year. Three new things have been added since our stay last summer; the seated sand digger for kids (it was a huge hit with our grandsons), a cordless blind and powerful WIFI! Thank you for the updates and thoughtful hospitality. I always love seeing those colorful, rolled beach towels when we enter through the deck room :)! It's an immediate boost to the brain - YOU ARE ON VACATION!! Thank you Katie!

This is a quintessential beach house. Comfortable and homey. It’s not fancy, nor does the listing present it that way, but it has everything you need in addition to one the best views you’re likely to find in the area. Pacific City is laid back and quiet, which is a major difference compared to the Cannon Beach or Newport areas. We’d stay here again without hesitation.

This house was amazing. Beautiful view right on the beach. Easy access to everything. Amazing sunsets! Beds were comfortable. Plenty of sand toys. BBQ is great! Kitchen had everything we needed. We had an amazing stay! Thank you!

The house was absolutely beautiful. The view was gorgeous and the beach was soft sand. Everything you could need is provided with the house! We really enjoyed our time there.

The views from this house are absolutely phenomenal! The house was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. It was nice having one bedroom on the main floor so mom didn't need to go down the stairs. If you're looking for an oceanfront retreat to relax with family, play games and watch the ocean waves, look no further! We are already planning to make this an annual trip!
