Enjoy spectacular ocean views at the Hawks Nest, a PET-FRIENDLY fully remodeled 2500 sq ft 4-Bedroom, 3-Bathroom waterfront home with unobstructed deep-water ocean views from the master bedroom, living room, full-length balcony — as well as our large back yard. Features a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room upstairs as well as a relaxing downstairs great room with wet bar, fridge, and big-screen TV. High-speed Internet / WiFi is provided throughout the home.

Great Place for Family

Lovely property on the ocean. Enjoyed watching the Lobsterman in the mornings. Great location to go see all the Maine sites but secluded enough to just relax and be away from it all

Battery Recharge

We had a wonderful week enjoying the beautiful house, view sunrises and wildlife. It was so enjoyable watching the changing tide and to explore the nearby towns. Acadia is close by and amazing. We were able to recharge our batteries away from everyday stress and truly relax and enjoy.

Great house in a wonderful location!

We had a great stay here. The property is in pristine condition. It is well-configured for two families to be together and still have their own space with two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. The deck overlooking the bay is incredible, especially at night when the only visible light was from the lighthouse miles away. If you're looking for a spot for a wonderful vacation in Maine, you've found it here!

Live love lobstah

We loved the house and property! Beautiful inside and out! Our family of 6 had tons of space! The lobster pot was great to cook our 10 lbs of lobstah from The Lobstore. The house had everything we needed, felt like home away from home. We really enjoyed hiking in the Schoodic peninsula and in Acadia. Would definitely come back again!!

Great property!

This property is clean and comfortable. The two completely furnished levels for two families with 4 boys ages 16-21 was perfect! I felt like we all had our own space. I would recommend this home to our friends and family.

Family Retreat

3 families all convened in Bangor. One from Phoenix, 1 from Charlotte, 1 from Orlando. It was my gift to my children to spend a week together in Maine. We hiked, we ate lobster and ice cream , watched the tide go in and out and did a lot of nothing. The weather was great and the house was perfect for all of us

Beautiful and tranquil

Extremely clean, spacious home with an amazing view. Great view of Petit Manan. We appreciated the location for our hikes throughout the Schoodic part of Acadia, and we made quite a few visits to MDI as well. The house was a pleasant and tranquil place to return to each evening.

Wonderful Week at Hawks Nest

We have been vacationing in Maine for 50 years and have grown into a 3 generational family. The house was perfect for all.It was very clean and well equipped, everything that you could want There was great separation between the upstairs and downstairs. The rooms were all large and comfortable. The primary suite was very nice. The setting and view were wonderful and there was much to do. Kayaking was terrific. The upstairs deck was great with ample seating and shade! This is the best rental that we have had and will return. A truly lovely home.

Beautiful home and views.

We enjoyed our stay close to Schoodic in Acadia National Park. The home was stocked with things lots of people would never think of. It was a peaceful and serene sitting on the balcony watching the water and seeing the locals harvest there catches. Sunrises were beautiful.

Great View From The Deck

Very clean and modern with plenty of room for 2 families. The view from the deck is terrific. Lobster boats and wildlife abound. Even watched a seal feed on a school of fish for more than 30 minutes. Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill allowed us to cook lobster and more. Had a great time!

Newly renovated peaceful home

Newly renovated property with stunning water view. Peaceful and quiet. The home has a lot of space and the downstairs is perfect for kids to sleep and play. 2 full size refrigerators, gas cooktop, microwave, washer/dryer, and good water pressure.

Perfect in every way!!!

The house is exactly as described online! The view is beautiful and everything you need is in the home. We went out most days hiking or taking a road trip. Bar Harbor is a little over an hour but the Schoodic area of Acadia is within 15 minutes of the house. We then came back and cooked are dinner at the house. We bought lobster and it was fabulous. If you love lobster don't miss the opportunity to cook your own! I think that was one of the highlights of the trip. We saw an eagle one day. One morning we were greeted in the back yard by a skunk and 2 porcupines, be careful. The furnishings in the home are wonderful. Beds were comfortable! We would not hesitate to rent this house again!!! Thanks for sharing your home.

Great property on the water

Cleanest home I’ve ever stayed in. They have thought of everything you might need. Such a relief. If you are looking for something, just open another drawer, you’ll find it. The house is newly renovated, well designed. Peaceful. The yard is great for the pups. I loved watching the tides. The birds, the lobster boats. The sun rise, awesome. Did I mention the bed. OMG. Best sleep ever. Not sure it was the bed or the sea air. Definitely going again. Also, first floor has master plus a queen room. Both have their own bathroom. Down stairs is the same as up. Two bedrooms , big hang out space with full size fridge, microwave, sink. Send the kids down their. Love this property.
