A Yurt with all the comfort of home, right beside a noisy trout stocked creek. Sit in the hot tub enjoying the views of the river and the passing wildlife, or stargazing at night, and the steep mountain across the creek providing added privacy. Sleep under the stars, looking through the dome. This yurt has a beautiful soaking tub inside, with endless hot water, a back up well, and two minisplits for heat and air. also a wood pellet stove for additional heat and ambience. a biker friendly driveway, and a twenty minute drive to Floyd, Virginia. We have two coffee makers, an air fryer, stove top, microwave, and full size refridge. The memory foam mattress will make you want stay in the bed. The yurt is 3 miles from Konowha Valley, nearby hiking, wineries, breweries, and Hillsville. Many quaint mountain towns to explore and shop in as well. This water is great for white water kayaking at high levels, floating at normal levels and walking thru the middle with a spinning reel to catch the nights dinner. There is a nearby canoe/ kayak rental and shuttle that’s inexpensive and a beautiful scenic float. We offer a side by side rental for our guests as well, for an additional fee if they are interested in traveling all the dirt roads nearby and seeing what our area has to offer up close. The yurt is pet friendly with a $25 pet fee. I do have two friendly dogs on the property that are great with other dogs but generally stay away.

Wonderful relaxing stay!! I was a little disappointed at first because it is super close the host house but we never even knew she was around! Wonderful experience!! Sitting and listening to the creek was my favorite part!!

Missy, so sorry for your initial disappointment, and so glad you gave me five stars. My cabin is the first thing you see, coming down the graveled drive, but when you reach the yurt nestled into the bend of the noisy creek and all of the evergreens and willows between the properties, the guest is in their own world. You can even lock the remote controlled gate for added privacy along with the fact that I am rarely home. I am busy working at the other five unique stays that I provide.

Jodee was a fantastic host! She was available by text for any questions. The property is top notch! Right by the creek where the deer meet daily, you have a hammock and bench to relax.You have all the amenities you would need and more!For sure will recommend and look to for the future!

The yurt was beautiful and our stay was awesome. If you stay during the summer, make sure to open the dinner at the top during the day. The loft does get a bit warm.

The Yurt is right on the creek you can listen while your sitting out side on the rockers on the porch plus seeing nature too the hot tub looked awesome but never got around to use it will be back

Everything about our stay was fantastic. It was an immensely cozy and efficient yurt. The decor seemed to really reflect the attitude and sense of humor of the host which is a really nice touch. We are already making plans for our next stay.

Absolutely beautiful place to unwind. Fly fishing and nearby hiking make this a great place. Located close enough to town to grab necessities, but remote enough to relax and recharge. The star gazing from the hot tub was stunning

Nice and cozy, internet and hot tub worked great, hot water, nice bath tub, comfy bed and lots of amenities (enjoyed some very tasty coffee in the morning!). Host was excellent at communication, we will definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

Could not have asked for a lovelier weekend in Dugspur. This was our first time staying in a yurt and we were absolutely blown away. The property on the creek is beautiful (and was perfect for our dogs to safely romp around), and the yurt itself was immaculately clean and had everything you could need. If you enjoy wineries, we recommend checking out Chateau Morrisette and Villa Appalaccia Winery in nearby Floyd, Virginia. Huge thanks to our amazing host, Jodee, for making our stay so wonderful and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.

Jodee's place is BEAUTIFUL! The hot tub, fire pits, and yurt itself were beautiful, and hearing the creek outside the Yurt in the evening was the best way to fall asleep. We stayed for one night, but have every intention of returning to this beautiful property!

Great stay! The yurt is clean and well equipped with lots of those little extras that make it special. Creek is really pretty and our dogs loved it! Host really goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable; very friendly and approachable. Hot tub is private and relaxing. Location is beautiful. Floyd is a nice nearby town to visit with quaint shops.Highly recommend.

We love this area, it has so much to offer! Water everywhere, kayaking and canoe rentals, fishing,wineries, breweries, a nearby distillery, ziplining, fabulous hiking, drives on the Blue Ridge Parkway, great motorcycle rides, we are two miles from Kanawha Valley and its all back roads on the side by side. I cannot imagine living anywhere else, with our summers that are not unpleasantly hot, cool springs, falls, and a gorgeous snows.
