We loved this location for the proximity to Lakewood Amphitheatre. We finished a concert, stood up from our seats, got to our car, and back to the front door of the home within 15-20 minutes. My family explored all over downtown Atlanta and it felt like very reasonable driving times all over. We rarely hit traffic, and when we did it was on the highway and only an exit or two before we were back. It's a very quiet neighborhood, family oriented with people on walks with their strollers, and near a school. I went to a few businesses in the area and everyone was very nice and welcoming. We grabbed coffee from Black Coffee Co just around the corner a couple times. The house itself worked great, it's a cute and unassuming vibe. Strong water pressure, updated bathroom, fridge/AC, etc worked perfectly. I could tell things were replaced, so a big plus that the property was maintained with care. TVs all over had Roku so I could just login and stream, no need to plug in my laptop. Would happily stay here again for another concert!

Great Gettaway

Our rental was great. It was clean on the inside, well lite and manicured outside, spacious, open and as described and shown in pictures. Neighborhood was also clean and very quiet. The property manager was very responsive, even checked in with us to make sure all was well our first night. The location was ideal. No more than 20- 30 min from downtown ATL and surrounding areas. Will definitely book this rental again.

Above and beyond

The property was clean and exactly how it appeared in the pictures. Our plans had changed, and we needed to come one day earlier. Michael let us come early which kept us from having to stay in a hotel. That's going the extra mile to help his guests. Will definitely stay again when visiting Atlanta.

The newly renovated bungalow in Atlanta was a great place to stay for my family. Pictures and descriptions of the property was spot on! The neighborhood was quiet and very close to downtown Atlanta, just as posted. Michael was an awesome host and reached out to check on use throughout our stay. This real made the process a little easier to navigate. I 100% recommend this for a small family that would love to enjoy the city and would love to be close to downtown. Great job to Michael and his team!

Hi, I’m Michael! I’m a proud University of Georgia grad (Go Dawgs!!!) and also studied Finance and Accounting at the University of Virginia. After school, I moved to Atlanta and worked in finance for several years before discovering my true passion: hosting.
I started back in 2015 by renting out a spare bedroom, which quickly grew into remodeling a basement and eventually helping friends and family design their own vacation homes. What began as a side project turned into Host This Home in 2018, where I now get to focus full-time on creating comfortable, memorable spaces for travelers.

I also serve as Treasurer for the Atlanta Metro Short-Term Rental Association, where I work with other hosts to keep Atlanta’s short-term rental community strong and welcoming.

When you stay with me, my goal is simple: to make you feel right at home while enjoying everything our city has to offer.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of city access and a peaceful residential vibe. Nestled just minutes from Downtown Atlanta, guests can enjoy quick access to restaurants, entertainment, and historic landmarks while still experiencing the charm of a quiet, tree-lined street. I love that the area feels welcoming and walkable, with local parks and coffee shops nearby, making it easy to explore and feel at home.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This newly renovated modern bungalow combines the character of an Atlanta classic with stylish, updated finishes. Guests appreciate the open-concept living space, cozy design touches, and the attention to detail that makes the home both comfortable and functional. The private backyard is ideal for relaxing outdoors, while the home’s location makes it easy to enjoy both the buzz of the city and the calm of a neighborhood retreat. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a thoughtfully curated space that stands out for its warmth and convenience.
