This 1 BR 1 Bath apartment is on the beautiful Rappahannock River with stunning sunrise and sunset views. It is furnished with a sleep number queen size bed, small refrigerator and coffee pot, and a microwave. It is a cozy room with views of the river while you enjoy your morning coffee. It has very good internet and there is also a TV with Roku.

The property has a big dock you can fish from and a nice private beach for swimming or catching a few rays.

This apartment is over the detached garage. There is a main house on the property that we live in.

Deltaville has a Maritime Museum, public tennis courts, Friday night outdoor music, a Farmers Market, and a few restaurants. Within a 30 minute drive there are several breweries and wineries. We are about an hour from Colonial Williamsburg and 90 minutes from Norfolk Naval Base and all the festivities of Virginia Beach.

If you have a boat or want to rent a boat locally, we have dock space and accommodations to tie off the boat to. There is about 2.5 feet of water at low tide.

This is the perfect place for quiet, peaceful, traffic-free enjoyment.

Room was spotless and private. Very comfortable stay! Hosts were extremely accommodating and willing to make suggestions for an even more enjoyable trip. We spent most of our time on the patio deck, enjoying the sights on the river. Ideal location and accommodations for a quick get away.

It was just a quick getaway with my husband and the room and grounds were wonderful!The host couldn’t have been nicer, nor more accommodating! The bed was great, amenities plentiful, and the room was beautiful. The neighborhood as ideal for our power walk. And…..the view!!!! The seating area on the dock was our favorite place for morning coffee and nightcaps!!We will definitely be back!!

What a location! The views, the deck, and the water access.

Loved the views and going for a swim in the Rappahanak. Very comfortable bed and room. The host is incredibly nice and the stay was relaxed and enjoyable.

Wonderful and Quiet Getaway

The views from the little room overlooking the Rappahannock River was spectacular. I was able to enjoy the sun from the private beach—- and go swimming (!) on Columbus Day weekend! It was relaxation at its best!

Great little getaway

Peaceful and Relaxing

Perfect getaway to the rivah! Accommodations were clean and as advertised. Enjoyed interacting with Barry and Tammy (owners). We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Especially enjoyed the use of their dock and beach. Explored the area and brought home seafood. Highly recommend! Looking forward to returning in the future.

Salve for the soul

Our two day mini-vacation was the perfect getaway. The property was lovely with killer sunset, and a respite from the heat and humidity of the city with soft breeze from the river. Barry and Tammy were the most gracious hosts and hostesses.

Beautiful river stay

This is a great place to stay to enjoy the river. It is in a cute, very small boating town. If you have a boat or like to go out on the water, i definately recommend this place. The above garage aparentment was perfect, and you can see the water from the windows. Out on the deck you can watch a sunset over the water. The beach is sandy. The host Barry is kind and welcoming. I hope to go back.

Gorgeous, Relaxed, and comfortable!

We absolutely loved Barry's place. The property is spectacular. The beach has an excellent sandy bottom and it was a wonderful deck and dock to enjoy the sunset and the Rappahonick. Thank you! Thank you for renting this great place. Also, Barry is such a kind person who is very nice to chat with.

Great weekend getaway for our 25th wedding anniversary

we really enjoyed our stay, and the accommodations were great, and just as described. We had a beautiful weekend for weather. We caught some fish off the dock and were able to enjoy the beach area during the day and campfire in the evening. The hosts were awesome and very accommodating. We also enjoyed exploring the area and having lunch at the Tap in Raw bar at Deltaville boathouse. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend this VRBO!

Fantastic

Barry and Tammy are so welcoming, have an amazing property, and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome, and quite frankly almost part of the family! While the weather was cloudy, there was an amazing sense of warmth and caring, exhibited from them personally, and throughout the entire property. The space Above the garage is exquisite. The bed incredibly comfortable. The pillows are to die for! I would highly recommend this property for a couples weekend or a longer getaway!

Virginia getaway

This riverfront property is absolutely amazing! Barry and Tammy are wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back, spending time strumming the guitar and fishing off the dock. Beautiful sunsets, private beach, Yummy figs fresh off the tree. This property has it all!!!

Marvelous getaway

I live in middle peninsula but needed a private waterfront locale for the long weekend Exactly what I needed and the river was perfect for a dip. Np jellyfish and sandy bottom.
