Kitchen was well equipped, filtered water is available and lots of bath towels are provided. The home is very comfortable and has a wonderful view of the water and sunsets. The location was a great help to being close to the boatyards

Perfect place for a couple’s getaway. Great location - we visited Irvington, White Stone, and Urbanna. Beautiful water views from the back yard.

Just as advertised. Immaculate, everything one would need for a reasonable stay. Owner lives next door & was friendly & welcoming. We would enjoy staying there again if the occasion arises.

Perfect place for couples getaway. Kitchen was just as described. Perfect place for someone with mobility issues as my husband was able to get around with no issues.

Lovely view and great access to the river but not quite what we expected

Pros: The location of the house was perfect! The dock was only a few feet from the back door. It was quiet and relaxing with beautiful views. The owner responded to all our questions within minutes and we were able to access the house an hour early.Things we wish we had known: There were very few restaurant options that were opened and only one small grocery store within 15-20 miles. The food selection was poor and the prices extremely high. Had we known, we would have brought provisions with us. Cons:The kitchen was extremely small and the cooking utensils and appliances minimal. The coffee maker was falling apart and many of the pans looked like they had been purchased from a thrift store. There was no vent over the stove so no ventilation when cooking.Per a notice, we were not to adjust the temperature of the thermostat which was set at 72 degrees. As the bedroom was quite small, the room got very uncomfortable to sleep in and we ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room. There was also a notice that said we were responsible for taking the trash to the recycling place and that we would be charged if we didn't. Since we left before the recycling place opened, we had to bring our trash home with us.I don't mind washing dishes or even removing bedding before I leave. But not being allowed to adjust the temperature in the house and having to bring our trash somewhere that I assume would charge us was not what I would consider a vacation.

Relaxing Get-a-way

We love this cute cottage and the easy access to the pier. It's a peaceful, quiet spot with a beautiful water view... the perfect place to refresh and regroup! Deltaville has everything we need... including great shops and restaurants close by. This was our third visit, and we'll be back again next year.

Overall the stay was amazing! Highly recommend pizza from Deltapie, desserts were also amazing we got pumpkin cheesecake and the cannoli. Dinner at The Table is a must! Food and atmosphere were just wonderful. We also ate at Tap and Raw bar, casual local spot. Loved the house, the area was quiet and the view from the water was simply amazing. Would recommend packing an extra blanket, the bed had a quilt and an extra blanket but it got pretty chilly so even with the heat on it wasnt quite enough. Will be staying again! we are in the area.wasnt quite enougrand

Located only feet from the water, this quaint cottage provided a sunny and serene place to relax and unwind. The house was very clean and well equipped with most everything that you might need. Hosts were attentive and available for any questions.

Comfortable waterfront stay

I arrived to find the house comfortably cool on a scorching hot summer day. The home was very clean. I instantly felt at home. I found plenty of comfortable places to sit and read. The kitchen had everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable. Parking was easy. When I come back to Deltaville, you can bet I will check availability here first!

Lovely

This is our second time staying here and it was even better this time. You cannot beat the setting itself and the weather overall was gorgeous. We love the comfortable furniture in the cottage, the cute decor and the sunroom is great to enjoy a morning coffee. There’s also a pretty front patio. For bird watchers we saw plenty—baby Blue Jays, large herons and eagles. Communication was excellent and check-in was a breeze. We’ll be back!
