Nice place

This was a great “base of operations” for our family that was in town to visit our child that attends Purdue. The house was clean, spacious, and well stocked. It was the perfect place for the family to get together for a home cooked meal. We would look forward to staying there again.

Pleasant Surprise

Andrew had a hiccup with this property and made arrangements for us to stay at another location. The home he arrange for us was outstanding and we had a wonderful experience. Much thanks to Andrew for insuring we had a great place to enjoy.

Very clean and quiet.

The place was nice and modern. Very clean. The only problem was there was a password on the thermostat. After a couple of back and forth messages with the owner, we were able to adjust the setting but, no matter what we set it at, it kept returning to the original setting.

Winter stay

Very nice property, location. Some bed matresses need upgrade. Pillows and beddings can be upgraded. One of shower faucet needed some work to adjust to correct temp. These improvements are suggested to make this beautiful property even better. We never used the gas stove or dishwasher as all food was either catered or eaten in restaurant. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We loved staying at ur house.

Nice but Not quite

Its a clean place and nice, if you like the dorm room spartan style. It's not positioned like the outside photo suggests. Its a duplex. The owner seems to spy on you. When he says " let me know what i can do to make your stay more enjoyable ", he doesn't mean it. One of our showers did not work properly and not only did he refuse to fix it (by putting the handle on properly), he NEVER even responded to the request. No face cloths were provided, only dirty ones left behind from cleaning. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher left from the previous renter. The beds looked slept in when pulling back the comforter. Would I stay here again? Yes, but now I know what to expect.

Unfortunately, David started complaining about a variety of issues upon arrival. He said the beds had wrinkles sheets. I told him that all the sheets are washed between guests but we don't iron the sheets after we wash and dry them so sometimes wrinkles may occur from the dryer. He complained about one of the showers not mixing the hot and cold water well. We explained how to work the shower knob and assured him that the shower did work properly when used as instructed. He did not respond to our response so we assumed he was using the shower as instructed. He claims we spy. We do have exterior cameras as disclosed in our listing but only review video when needed. In his case, he covered the camera with duct tape which was very difficult to clean off after his stay. We have rented this home for years and have dozens of great reviews between VRBO and another site. Dave was a difficult guest and not only complained throughout his stay but also left the home in poor shape requiring our cleaners to spend a great deal of extra time cleaning. We hope you will refer to our many other positive reviews when evaluating this home as we strive to make it a great clean place for all our guests.
