We stayed for the third year in a row. Great location! Clean and well kept space. Highly recommend.

I was very surprised by the high ratings this unit received. The pictures do not reflect the condition the unit is in. The decor was accurately depicted - simple and modern. However, the unit is in desperate need of repair and maintenance. These are just some of the issues we sent to the host: 1) The door to the front of the unit allows us to leave, but we cannot enter from the outside. We had to enter from the back where the car is parked. 2) The bathroom door does not close all the way and cannot lock. 3) The small window in the bathroom (inside the shower) does not close all the way. 4) The bathtub does not plug, which is one of the main reasons we booked. Our 2 year old had to learn to take showers. 5) The warm water only lasted long enough for 2 of the 4 of us to take showers. Usually the end of the 2nd shower was already cold. 6) There are a ton of dings and scratches on the walls throughout the unit. The pros: 1) Easy check in through keypad. 2) Location is very close to the boardwalk and restaurants. 3) Host was quick to respond prior to booking and arrival, but after we checked in, responses were much more delayed. We were also told to text someone’s phone about issues in the unit, which I did, but I never heard back from them. Luckily we had a short stay.

Only issue we had was the living room TV. As we couldn’t get it to work properly but didn’t use until the day before checkout (storm and was home bound). We could hear the sound but no picture. Notified staff and they responded they would check the next day but that unfortunately was our check out which I get. A few things I noticed but didn’t report as they were indeed minor for the short time I was there: -Bathroom window doesn’t close all the way,- bathroom door - you have to slam to shut all the way -front door never looks like it’s closed- it’s off kilter (The above may be due to ocean air weathering) ? Would love a mirror in the second bedroom! Kids were constantly coming in my bedroom (if the bathroom was occupied) and though there is a full mirror in hallway- there is no plug nearby- so this made for a teenage torment. Not really - lol- small inconvenience —- but a mirror in the second bedroom would so help! Everything all in all was great! Prompt responses and questions with check in. Unit was close to everything. Was nice to have my daughter and niece come and go as they please. Would go back again!

2nd time visitors

We stayed here for the 2nd year in a row, just in a different numbered space- Still so happy with our experience . Our family (two parents, three children ages 6, 3, and 1) stayed in unit 2. Plenty of space for all of us and our stuff. So clean and setup for checkin with no issues. Beautiful patio/porch view that we sat on each night. Outdoor shower was perfect for cleaning the kids off after each beach day. Prime location within walking distance to all amenities (boardwalk, beach, laytons family restaurant, ice cream, pizza, pool, even a fire house that our boys loved walking by). If you are thinking about staying here, it is worth it.

Wonderful Stay!

My siblings and I booked this relatively last minute as far as planning beach trips are concerned, but we were not at all disappointed! The updates to the space were really well done, and it is a great distance to the beach (maybe 3-5 min walk) and boardwalk—we could come home quickly for lunches and/or if we forgot something. The front porch is large and a great place to hang out. Walking distance to pretty much everything—super convenient. Be sure to bring your own essentials—toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing things, etc. There are some starter supplies available, but depending on how many people you have, you may need more. Dishes and kitchen utensils are provided. The refrigerator is medium sized, so be mindful of that when packing food for your trip. The local contact for checking in was fantastic—even helped me carry in my bags and gave me a quick tour. There is only 1 parking space for the rental, but there is plenty of free street parking nearby if you have multiple vehicles. My siblings and I really loved it here & would definitely rent again.
