Downtown Mystic - Newly Renovated Apartment

Newly renovated apartment in an old house built in 1845. The property is right in the center of Mystic on the Groton side of the draw bridge. Walking distance to restaurants and area attractions including Mystic Seaport Museum. Off-street parking. Short drive to Stonington Borough and Watch Hill RI.

Maximum of 2 people allowed. All guests must be at least 27 years of age. No parties allowed on premises. Pets not allowed. No smoking on premises.

About the space:
Unit 2 is located on the ground floor and offers the following layout and amenities:
- One bedroom with queen-size bed
- One bath with shower
- Living room with couch and 50" TV. Streaming and live TV is through Hulu
- Full kitchen including stove, oven, fridge, microwave
- Dishes, utensils, glasses, cookware, bakeware.
- Nespresso machine
- Separate dining area
- In-unit laundry
- WiFi
- Air conditioning via window unit
- Off street parking

Guest access:
Guest access via keyless electronic lock.

House rules:
- No parties
- Maximum of 2 guests (no exceptions)
- We do not allow pets
- All guests must be at least 27 years old
- No smoking on premises
- It should go without saying, but no illegal drugs or marijuana allowed on premises.

Beautiful apartment. Just the right size for our 3 day stay. Within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping. Great place to stay! Was pleasantly surprised at the Beekman bar soap and the other products provided!

Exquisite quality and superb location! We could not have asked for a better accommodation! Our main criteria are cleanliness and location. The apartment was spotless and well appointed. So well done - not cramped or crowded yet there was not a stone unturned when it came to details. The bed was comfortable and the linens, obviously high quality. The location was as convenient as you could get - being able to walk to Main Street was a dream. An amazing experience!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment was the perfect place for the two of us while visiting. It was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and had everything we needed.The location couldn’t have been better. We were less than a five-minute walk from historic downtown Mystic, which made it so easy to walk to the shops, restaurants, and everything the area has to offer. We loved being able to leave the car and just walk everywhere.This really was the perfect place for the two of us to stay and enjoy the twin. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. If you’re planning a trip here and want a comfortable place in an amazing location, we highly recommend it!

We loved our stay in this beautiful historic home and neighborhood. Our unit was immaculate, spacious and beautifully designed with high end finishes. It was also very quiet and an easy walk to downtown Mystic. We would definitely stay again.

Love this apartment! Second time staying here and we are already looking at next year for a third time! The apartment is clean and well stocked with necessities. It is located within walking distance of literally everything in Mystic. Even with three other guests in the other apartments, you would not know it with how quiet it was! Mike is a fantastic host! Great communication. We will never stay in a hotel again when we visit Mystic.

This is an exceptional property. Lovely furnishings and fittings, very interesting and unusual pictures and ornaments, and equipped with everything anyone could possibly need. It’s a three minute walk down into town where there’s a huge selection of places to eat and shop and about a 15 minute walk to Mystic Seaport which is well worth a visit. Great to have easy parking too.

Great place to stay with perfect location. Newly renovated, super clean and a good mattress. We stay here when it is available on our trips to Mystic. Host communicates well and the arrival/departure process is easy.

So glad we stayed here! We were in town for a wedding and decided to stay here instead of at one of the hotel blocks. The location was perfect! Just a 5 minute walk to downtown. The space was extremely clean and so nicely renovated. It felt very new! So spacious which was really nice for a long weekend plus having all the amenities. We will definitely be back!

Mike was an incredible host with a gem of a property right on the edge of town. My partner and I wanted to explore Mystic primarily on foot, and this was the perfect home base to do so. Not only was the apartment conveniently located, it was tucked back just enough to feel private and quieter than being right in the mix of night life etc. We immediately felt at home and cozy in the space. Although it's small, the layout lends itself to comfort and functionality. We had everything we needed and then some, with more than enough room to hang out while there was rain or we just needed some down time. The apartment was kept cool which was a lifesaver for sleeping, and having access to a washer/dryer was helpful after a visit to the beach. Overall, we appreciated Mike's clear communication, helpful recommendations, and fabulous apartment. We were sad to leave because we felt so at ease in the space and in love with the easy access to town!

This was one of the nicest places we have ever rented on VRBO. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. Nice off street parking and a 2 minute walk into town. Mike was a great host and very communicative. We visit Mystic regularly and will definitively be renting from Mike again.

Hi, I'm Mike. I grew up just over the line in Rhode Island and I have deep connections to the area. As a young adult I moved south, which was fine for a while but sometimes you have to leave home to appreciate the specialness of where you came from.

Time slows down here along the coast. If you allow yourself to become part of it, you too will return again.

I feel truly lucky to own a home in such a beautiful spot right in Mystic! Although the house was built in 1845, most of the original elements were gone when I bought the house a few years ago. The property has been a multi-family home for many decades. It has been fun remodeling and giving each of the units a unique look. Hopefully you will come back and have a stay in all of them!
