Enjoy a romantic getaway at this cozy home.
Roaming back yard with grand, multi-level stone patio with lighting. On extra chilly nights or weather-challenged days, fire up the wood stove and relax with a glass of wine. Within walking distance to a private beach and Rocky Neck State Park, or use our parking pass for one of the GNHA beach parking spots! The backyard abuts a nature preserve with several walking paths. 3 miles from Niantic Main Street, boardwalk, restaurants, breweries, shops, marinas, and museums. Niantic is a charming village center within the greater Town of East Lyme.

Our "cottage" was a clean, cozy, calming, comfortable place for us to stay on our extended weekend visit. It was nicely appointed for a seaside community. Guests can be assured of thoughtful care and planning for their needs - should a USB cable, a toothbrush, any other sundries be forgotten, the hosts had stashed away extras in bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen drawers. The hosts' pride of ownership definitely shows. Our cottage truly felt like a home away from home, and a much-needed respite in a busy, somewhat exhausting trip. We would have loved to stayed longer, under different circumstances, but maybe we'll make it back someday. Thanks to Bob & Jill, for their hospitality!!

The property was incredible, so clean and very accurate to what was described in the listing. Bob and Jill were very helpful and insightful in what to do around the area. If you are looking for something quaint and in a nice and quiet neighborhood very close to beach access, this is your place to be! This updated turnkey cottage was extremely well-equipped with everything we needed. It was very attractively decorated. Beds were comfortable and A/C kept us cool. It was a short drive to the private association beach that borders Rocky Neck State Park with easy drop-off and convenient parking.

The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed to have a small family Thanksgiving. Quiet neighborhood, a 5 minute drive to Rocky Neck State Park. The hosts responded immediately when I was confused about the wifi password (my fault, not theirs.) Would recommend for a small family get-together or a place to celebrate with friends.

Communication was great leading up to check-in which went smoothly. The house was clean and the kitchen had appliances, along with plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware to use. The location is great- a short drive to the beach which was amazing. It was a quiet neighborhood but just a short drive to restaurants and shopping in Niantic.

Great cottage!

This well maintained cottage in Niantic was clean, cozy and comfortable. While we didn’t have an opportunity to cook, the kitchen was well equipped. The house plants and great selection of books was a nice touch. The owners Bob & Jill were very accessible. We would definitely stay there again.

I liked how all of the necessities were provided by the owner and more. They had everything from toothpaste to deodorants to fresh coffee beans with a grinder in case you’d like some coffee. Everything was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed our stay. The host was very kind. Thank you.

Pleasant neighborhood with great ocean access.

Being before 4th of July weekend it was very peaceful and we enjoyed several encounters with local wild life deer and shore birds of many feathers. Beautiful well appointed home with many wonderful features, wildflower entryway, complete eat in kitchen, comfortable living room with vaulted ceiling, relaxing setup bedroom’s, walk in shower and large sink surface area, rocking front porch and large backyard with patio.

Hosts were very kind when we needed to communicate with them. The parking pass for the private beach parking was great. It was nice to be able to make that super short drive, have no stress for parking and be right there at the private beach. There were beach towels and beach chairs at the property, so we had a nice beach day! All the streaming services on the TV were also nice. It allowed my son to watch the World Cup matches he didn’t want to miss. Porperty was very cute, bathroom was clean, and we had plenty of towels. Washer and dryer worked great.
