Maui Banyan #H-414 is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the 4th floor. It features an ocean view, air conditioning throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 flat-screen TVs, telephone, and free wifi. There is a king bed and queen sofa bed. For outdoor activities, Maui Banyan #H-414 is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, and sand toys. Sleeps 4.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Maui Banyan Resort is situated on 8 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds located in South Maui across the street from the popular Kamaole Beach Park II. This white sandy beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. It is a 5-minute drive to the Wailea Resort shops, golf courses, and tennis courts. Maui Banyan features a swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ area, tennis court, and covered parking. Parking stalls in this complex tend to be narrow and are best suited for compact vehicles.

The tile floor was dirty. Walking in socks after taking shoes off the sock bottoms were very dirty. The second bath sink plunger did not work properly.

Great place - needs better communication

Loved this unit and its proximity to the beach and other amenities. Complex is nice as well. A lot left to be desired from the managements communication though. Took over a week and prompting to get a response for questions before we arrived. Once we were there there was no soap in the unit and missing pillow cases. When asked about supplying these there was no response and randomly someone showed up and entered our unit unannounced to drop them off. Overall great place, stocked decent with supplies

Great condo

All you need..great location. Had a great time. Much appreciated locating laundry detergent that was left. And the electric tea kettle. Ocean view. Walking distance to Kam 2 and stores, restaurants. We will be back.

Good Location, Good Size Condo

Overall a very nice property. Just noting some things here. Needs a few things updated as they get beat up over time which is normal. Could have been cleaned a little better upon arrival. We found some surface areas we had to reclean. But overall listing is accurate and a nice rental. Thank you

Great stay

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything we needed. I was a little concerned about the partial parking lot view but it ended up not being a big deal. It was quiet while we were there. Nice walk to beach across the street and close to many shops and restaurants. Pool area was nice although we didn’t use it . Property is very pretty

All that I wanted and needed

I loved staying at this listing. The unit was updated and well stocked with towels, beach chairs, an umbrella and small amenities. The bed was also comfortable! It was right next to the beach and honestly couldn’t have been a faster walk There was construction going on and a water shut off but communication was provided ahead of time so I expected it. Overall, highly recommended.

Underwhelmed in Maui

The pros: check in was easy and efficient, it was near the beach and places to eat. Cost was affordable to stay and liked having two restrooms. The host provided towels and amenities needed. The Cons: the unit/building is old and needs updating. The unit itself had a 2 window AC units that were not clean and made it a nightmare for those suffering from allergies. They were installed low and furniture blocking the air from circulating. Vents were filthy and water condensation was forming on furniture creating potential for mold. Plus controlling the temperature was difficult. Most places do not have central air just fyi if you have allergies because Hawaii has year round pollen and ragweed. Also want to mention the area has a lot of homeslessness not a con but just make you aware.

Clean quite and the sunset from the Lanai!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Rentals Maui was great to work with. Clean comfortable, 2 bathrooms and washer/dryer in the condo was a bonus for sure.

It’s our second Time staying here and we just returned home and are already planning our trip back next year! They are efficient. Easy to communicate with. And the room came with everything we needed. As a single mom with three kids I loved how close we were on foot to restaurants and amenities and smoothie bowls. And Wailea was only an 8 minute drive away

Great location. Nicely furnished.

This corner front-facing unit in a building nearer to S. Kehei Rd/beach was a plus. This unit has been updated for a clean modern feel, and the bathroom tile showers were roomy. Can see the ocean and the sunset from the lanai which was a sweet surprise. It had a nice beach umbrella, beach and camp chairs, beach toys, pool noodles, pool towels for guest use which was a very nice touch. The kitchen was well-enough equipped for our purposes. Full-sized fridge was perfect. The A/C units were loud when running and seemed to need some love, yet cooled the place nicely when needed. We found using the two large overhead fans with both screen doors open at night was more peaceful and quiet. The roosters crowing us awake in the morning was awesome on this 4th floor unit. The couch bed was comfortable, and the king size bed in this one-bedroom unit was the coveted place to lounge. We were grateful for the laundry unit and two bathrooms in this unit that were a must for us. We appreciated being across from the stairwell for ‘quick’ access to and from parking garage. Quiet corner unit winner! We would request H-414 again on future stays on Maui now having experienced it. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

Great location!
