Seasonally heated Private pool and jacuzzi, outdoor shower, grill and fire pit. Located right on a coastal tidal creek with majestic trees it is a relaxing place to enjoy your down time. First floor access includes a parking garage space. Outdoor table for 8 to entertain your family and friends. Inside you will find washer dryer, a beautiful kitchen with alot of the neccessities and even a sleep number king size bed!

Zero stars. My boyfriend and I showed up on the date we booked and there were two people staying in our apartment. When we got there, we walked around back as we were told in the instructions and there were wet clothes next to the "private" hot tub (men's swim trucks and a woman's bra plus other things) That gave us pause but we decided to try the key to the door since we had already drove out there. When I opened the door, there was a young man standing at the top of the stairs who looked as shocked to see me as I was to see him. He told me he was the owners son and they were not expecting us. A woman ran down the stairs (was told it was the cleaning lady but I'm not sure if that's true) and frantically began cleaning the place, but I had already been too weirded out and decided I didn't feel safe staying there. I received a message from the host the next day profusely apologizing. She gave a few excuses as to why they weren't expecting us even though I had made the booking two months in advance and also had messaged her hours before we showed up at the booking the day of. I told her I understand things happen (even though I was shaken up) let her know that we had thankfully found a hotel close by and politely asked for a refund. I never got any response after that. I wanted a week to call VRBO directly because it was the week of thanksgiving and I was trying to be patient. It's been three weeks now and she has not gotten back to me about the refund.

Host refused to communicate through Vrbo app, she began texting us instead. She changed her mind and put the key and garage remote in a totally different place than what was communicated in Vrbo. When we arrived there were 2 cars blocking the driveway. My husband had to go knock on their door to get the key and remote. She never told us where the entrance was. It was inside the garage/basement. The dishwasher was sticking out and broken, the refrigerator was smashed in. The "futon" that was supposed to have been in a common area was was an old sofa that appeared to have been in a flood and stunk so bad and shoved up against the broken dishwasher. The pillows on the bed smelled like a combination of garbage and mold. There was no kitchen table in the "apartment", it was outside. The deck outside had a wheelbarrow full of yard debris and a broken umbrella and other debris on it. The house butted up against the property next door was collapsed in on itself. Vrbo stated the bedroom had a bathroom. In reality, the bathroom was on the other side of the "apartment". The Host stomped on the floor above our heads repeatedly and in one place. As if to say, "Get out!". We couldn't stay there. It was not as described and NOISY. We sent her a message via Vrbo that she didn't see because she texted us the following day and said she was having a maintenance man come in and do repairs. What? During a guest's stay?! We asked for a refund and the Host never responded.

Wonderful time. Beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay.The yard reminded me of my childhood. Only suggestion would be to add a dummy manual for the pool and hottub lol.As the qrd would not pull anything up on any of our phones..The natural dog noises upstairs reminded me of my daughter's house. My boyfriend and I drove half way to meet here for a weekend getaway with easy access to St Simmons and Jeykell Island. The location wasn’t what we expected. The home has a lot of potential and at one point, I’m sure it was very nice but left much to be desired. Pulling into the driveway, the boat was in the way for us to park with random items on the driveway. The landscaping was very overgrown. It seems as though the home hadn’t had much TLC in a very long time. Access through the garage was a nice gesture but the garage was a mess with stuff everywhere. If we did access through the side door, there was a lawnmower in the walk way, large box and items just laying around. Plus, our walk was by two trash cans which stunk. This did not give a welcoming feel. The sleep number bed was difficult. Even though our numbers were the same, it was odd like we were sleeping in a bed with two twin mattresses. The first night, the AC was on 67 and it never got below 78 degrees. We were able to get in contact with host who was able to fix it the following day. The bathroom was only stocked with one towel and one washcloth. We were able to get extras but they should have been prepared in advance for paying customers. My biggest complaint was the noise, unless you want to hear a dog and the individuals upstairs at different hours of your stay, don’t stay here. It was very disappointing. The only positive part was the private hot tub. We enjoyed having the time to relax in it.

Great accommodations. Easy to follow instructions on entry and exit. Very tranquil, peaceful. Sleep Number bed could have slept all day. Perfect for a weekend get away! Try Sal’s Pizza in St. Simons! Great slice!

Excellent stay and an amazing home

Had a wonderful stay and beautiful home. Everything I needed was in the home, everything was clean. Everything you need for a beach outing, or cooking at home was available. I would stay here again anytime. Very thankful for the opportunity to stay here.

Mother's Day getaway

We truly enjoyed our visit to the Golden Isles and staying at this cute, welcoming air b&b. This is exactly what our family needed for a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend away. Everything was stocked for convenience, such as paper products, toiletries, snacks, coffee, etc. There were plenty of beach towels and linen. Everything was clean and very well decorated. I enjoyed the music played on Mother's Day and loved that it is also a home that's lived in and well appreciated. The listing does not do justice, it's much more beautiful in person! Truly a hidden gem, Thank you for sharing your home with us and being a wonderful host!

Tired

Drive 9 hours and according to VRBO customer service the check in information was never updated by host. It took hours after check in for her to call back. She did apologize that we could not view information. I have stayed her before and fell in love with location.

Comfortable, clean, and quiet

Very noisy! Terrible stay!

Ok, before posting this review, i gave the property owner time to refund part of the cost. Wish I didn’t stop my husband from writing his thoughts in the guest book! Host messaged us they were making adjustments to chemicals in the pool which took use away from us during our stay. We woke up to the hot tub only 1/2 full and unusable. The pool towels were so warn out they had ripps in them. There was laundry left in both the washer and dryer! I would also recommend checking any alarms set on the stove/oven so it doesn’t wake you up in the morning luke it did us.... very early,,, no sleeping in ! The fan in the main living area makes a very loud sound when in use so turn up the tv,,,, ooooo thats if they're not using the internet upstairs... then just enjoy watching the tv try to stream... good luck.. will not be back, and just awful that there wasn't any response when notified of this!

Peaceful place

This place is such a sweet place. It is the whole bottom level of the house. The pool and hot tub were AMAZING! The owners do live above you, you can hear them, but at night it was quiet and perfect! The bed is so comfortable and the yard is so peaceful. We will for sure be going back. The owners are pretty awesome too, if you have any trouble, give them a chance and reach out. Also, try the Wee Pub in Brunswick! The owners of here also own that and the food was so yummy!
