Spacious Guest House With Pool

Relax at this peaceful and spacious guest house with pool, centrally located in a very safe, quiet neighborhood, perfectly nestled between Downtown Miami and the great shopping/restaurants of Miracle Mile. Within easy reach of everything Miami has to offer, including Vizcaya, Coral Gables, Wynwood, Design District, South Beach and Miami Airport!


Detached guest house with its own entrance. Inside, you'll find over 600 square feet of private space, including separate bedroom, living room, and dining areas. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax after splashing around in the pool right outside your door!

Off street parking is available, with a gate that I normally keep open but can be closed and/or locked if you wish.

Note: The bed is a queen, with a futon-style sofa-bed that turns into a double. The sofa bed is great for kids but might be a little small for large adults! If you prefer an alternative, a queen air mattress (standard-bed height with a built-in electric pump) is also available.

Really nice place!

The property was just perfect, located in a quiet neighborhood and for us conveniently close to our Miami friends. It was clean and had everything we could want plus more. Our host, Gregan and his wife were really nice and made it clear that we shouldn't hesitate to ask if we needed anything else. The size of the place was perfect. Using the pool was a nice "extra", the kitchen was well-equipped and the bed was really comfortable (for a couple it would be ideal). The sofa bed was, of course, smaller and not as comfortable as the bed but that didn't bother us and it was fine to sleep on. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to stay here again.

Sight Said swimming pool but when we got there it was dirty

Swimming pool was dirty and was told that smoke was smelled in house and want to charge us when we never smoked in house.

Hi Sam, unfortunately the house smelled of marijuana after you left, requiring a deep clean of the curtains and upholstery. Even if, as you claim, you only smoked on the porch, it is a violation of house rules, particularly if you don't take care to prevent the smoke coming back into the house! I'm sorry you're upset but I need to prioritize the comfort of my guests, and sensitivity to smoke smells is very common.

Not the same upkeep as the photos

We were very excited over this place when we booked it. I had contacted the owner and let them know that we booked this especialy as it had a private pool, that had sold it to us, so we were very disappointed when we turned up and the pool was very dirty. Not just floating stuff, but the actual walls and base of the pool. The pool is also not in your yard area, but a separate area in which you are right in front of the other house's double doors. No privacy at all. In fact there was someone sitting oopposite the pool inside the doors both times I went outside. You are right in their yard. The outside area was not cleaned up like in the photo and the outside table and chairs couldn't be used as they hadn't even been wiped down and had a thin layer of dirt. A slight weird smell to the house also...mold?? For a "new to VRBO" listing I would expect things to be new. It felt like a long term rental that had been quickly turned into a short term rental with no cleaning. Walls had dirt and marks all over and areas that were chipped off and were half way through mending. Cushions had small stains. Dirt mixed with dust on the doors. Just not much attention to detail. Its not really set up for 4. As they say themselves the hideabed is better for one person. Good things...bed was comfy and clean. House had the thngs that you would need for a short stay. Not too far from the airport if you are coming in that way. If some changes were made, it could be lovely. (Written by someone who has both stayed in many short term rentals and owned them)
