Harbour Main playful century home w/ private patio

Summary:
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located home. HarbourMain is perfectly located steps away from Picton's Main street which has lovely cafés, local shops, breweries & restaurants. No need to take the car, you can leave it parked in the back parking lot of the home (fits 2 cars comfortably) and walk to your nearby destination.

The private back patio offers great seating area & BBQ.

We can't wait to host you

This home is fully licensed per Prince Edward County bylaws (ST-2022-0073)

The Space:
We offer our guests the use of our Provincial Parks seasons pass which is good for Sandbanks and North Beach.

Harbour Main is a recently renovated century home with eclectic decor throughout. The main floor features a renovated kitchen (with combo washer/dryer) and a dishwasher, the living/dining room and a sun room.

At the top of the stairs you'll find the first bedroom with 2 twin beds. Through this room you'll access the door to the bathroom, as well as the door to our other bedroom with a Queen bed. Our bathroom was recently renovated and includes a bathtub and shower.

We've got a patio out back with seating and a BBQ.

The Neighborhood:
The neighbourhood is vibrant and yet peaceful all at once.
Going one way will bring you to live music, beers and fun people watching while going the other way will bring you to bird chirping paradise known as Delhi Park and the Picton Harbour.
Harbour Main is at the intersection of all moods and vibes!

Getting Around:
Harbour Main is located steps (literally 200 steps) away from Picton Main Street.
That is where you will find all of the fun shops and lovely restaurants.

The driveway allows you to leave your vehicle(s) and wander without worrying about parking meters.

If you wish to venture to the neighboring towns, you are a short drive (or bike ride) away. Start the car and listen to your favourite 3 songs as you'll arrive at your destination in a short 10-15 minute drive.

The house is cute… the stairs are treacherous.. the worst part is all the mold in the enclosed porch at the front of the house which is where you will sit with your back facing it. Don’t open the door. Every time the heat went on the smell came through. We were all coughing , needed puffers and allergy meds.. I am still affected 2 months later and am on a steroid and antibiotic.it is a health hazard If one is asthmatic and allergic to mold. As aesthetically pleasing the house is,that mold issue needs to be addressed asap. It’s like putting lipstick on a pig. I was offered 50 refund for the effects to my health.

This was our second stay at the property and it was superb. Everything ran smoothly and the place was just as lovely as it was the first time. Walking distance to restaurants and shops on Main Street Picton. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay at Harbour Main. Parker was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The property has everything you could need for a weekend away. We enjoyed having access to the BBQ and patio for dinner in one evening and the short walk to Main Street for dinner at the Royal our second night there. Great location, great host. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent location

The property was exactly as listed. Excellent location for leaving the car and going for a walk for dinner, to the marina or to the park. Also a very short drive to the beach! Very comfortable and clean, a home away from home.

Great location with a very short walk to the main street! Kitchen is well-equipped to make your own meals, but close enough to some nice restaurants if you prefer to eat out. Parker, the host, was very attentive in a non-intrusive way and the communication was excellent. Lots of thoughtful extras provided to ensure a wonderful stay!

Friends Getaway

We had a great time and will certainly look to return again in the future. The place is easy to find, well located - walking distance to downtown Picton for restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. The home was perfect for the 3 of us - a well equipped kitchen, spacious living room and dining area, comfy beds and very clean. Communication with the host Parker was great. We will be sure to spread the news to friends interested in a visit to PEC. Thank you for your hospitality.

Very Welcoming!

The property has safe parking, location is perfect as it is within walking distance to all downtown amenities. The house was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and bright. We felt welcomed with fresh sunflowers, a bottle of wine and great coffee! We had great, supportive communications with the host. A great stay.

Great location just off main road. Easy access to many wineries and Sandbanks. Owners even supply a Summer Park pass. Old home with all the creeks and charm that come with it, well equipped and comfortable beds. Would love to visit again. The bottle of wine waiting for us at check-in was a nice “feel welcome” gift!

So cute indoors and out

Super cute place. It was so nice to have both indoor and outdoor space. The back patio was lovely for a morning tea and a pre-dinner cocktail. The sun room is great for a quick cat nap! Picton is definitely the best of all 3 towns in PEC. It has the biggest Main Street and the most shops and restaurants that were open late. Harbour Main is a very short walk to Main Street and really close to the start of the Millennium Trail too. Rent some bikes and hit this trail. It is flat and easy and goes through farmer fields. It’s an absolutely delightful way to spend an afternoon

Escape to Prince Edward County

My two best university girlfriends and I had a great time staying at the Harbour Main. The house was so cute and we loved the feeling of this century home. It was very clean and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent - steps away from downtown. Our host was quick to communicate with us and the check in process was easy. We used the Sandbanks park pass to go for a lovely walk. Dinner at Bocado was 5 stars- excellent. The main sitting area and screened porch are very pleasant. There was enough room for us to park all 3 cars in the parking spaces behind the house. The only downfall to these accommodations is the sleeping arrangements are not ideal for more than 2 people. Although there was a queen bed in one bedroom with a door, the other two beds are in the upstairs loft which is open to downstairs. There is one bathroom upstairs in the entire home. Being a century home, the floors are creaky and loud when you walk on them. So in our situation, if someone needed to get up in the middle of the night to use the washroom it meant risking waking up everyone. If you stayed in the bedroom, you had to walk through the loft where the two other beds were to get to the bathroom. And not a lot of privacy for the two people sleeping in the loft. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Cosy home base to explore the County

The house was so wonderful! Tastefully decorated, bright and clean, and with such attention to detail: fully stocked kitchen for a great cooking experience, inspiring cookbooks, choice of pillow types, board games, and more. Great to be able to easily walk to downtown and the harbour. I hope to be back again!

Everything as described, charming property with clean aesthetic within minutes (walk) of restaurants on the main strip. Everything was super easy and great communication. Appreciated the welcome beverages too! Would return in a heartbeat.

Great Location and Cool Property

My colleague and I stayed at Harbour Main for two nights for our annual Thanksgiving trip to Pictor. The location is fantastic and the house is ultra neat. Great beds, great design and excellent walking distance to downtown restaurants. Our host provided clear instructions and was excellent to deal with. Highly recommend.
