Enjoy the comforts of a private suite in an occupied home with separate entrance and side yard. House is located in South Anchorage with views of the Chugach Mountains and Turnagain Arm. A 15-minute drive from the airport and immediate access to the Seward Highway to take you south to Girdwood or north to Denali, wherever your travel adventures take you. One bedroom with ¾ bath and a half kitchen with an induction countertop electric burner. Fresh Alaskan coffee in K-cup or beans to grind to suit your taste. Kitchen area has all the amenities if you'd like to make a home-cooked meal. This suite is also the perfect set-up if you're just needing an overnight stay. Pet friendly (small pet fee, please contact Host prior to booking)!

Best place in Anchorage

This is a perfect place to stay no matter if it’s one night or a couple weeks. Easy to get to and has all the extras you could want. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. We try to stay here whenever we fly into Anchorage.

The best spot!

What a great place to stay! It was adorable, clean, felt safe and welcoming. There were so many little details that made it feel like home. Comfortable bed and recliners in the living room. Would absolutely stay here again! Alison was a wonderful host!

Super comfy stay

Stayed for 3 days and the place is easy to get to, easy check in and out process and very comfy inside. It has everything you need and is clean and well equipped. The host is great at communicating! I would gladly stay again.

Fantastic experience

Loved everything about our experience. The bed was so comfy we got a picture of the tag for future purchase. We will be staying here the next time we're staying in Anchorage.

Perfect location and great host.

This was perfect for our stay. Great amenities, well stocked with cooking supplies. The location was great for exploring all of nearby Alaska, specially going south towards Seward. Allison was an excellent host and was very flexible with a late checkout. We would 100% stay here again.

Clean and cozy

Very clean and comfortable, convenient location was easy to find. We only needed to stay one night this time but I would have stayed longer if we could! Lovely place and host!

Quick Getaway

My stay was excellent,my accommodations were very clean, the area was close to what I needed for my stay. What I like the best is the bed was very comfortable. The owner was very helpful in anything that I needed. I would definitely rent this place out again for a future stay and also recommend this to any of my friends that will be in this area as well.

Great stay close to Alyeska

We stayed for a couple nights while we skied in Alteska, lots of great restaurants and good recommendations. Roughly 1/2 hour to Alyeska stop if you're skiing this is a good place to stay.

Great stay!

Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood but also close to the highway and south Anchorage shops. Super easy check-in and check-out. Very clean and an incredibly comfortable bed. Floor was a little squeaky upstairs, which caused me to wake up a couple times in the night but overall, a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

I got a job in Anchorage as a nurse but had to wait on a permanent place to be available from December thru February (two long months). During those months, I stayed at what I unofficially dubbed "Aunt Alison's" as much as I could ( based on her availability) for multiple stays. Her place was like staying over at a favorite aunt's house with the nick knacks and homey feeling. The place was always clean and she'd leave out candy and snacks. She thinks of everything as her attention to detail was immaculate. Some examples are having several kinds of pillows so no matter what kind of pillow you like there will be one for you, Dog bowls..for your small or large dog, and my husband's favorite candies she noticed were always gone by the end of our trip, would be filled by our return. We forgot some things and she would always save them for our eventual return. She helped us by storing tires we couldn't fit on the car ride home one trip. Quick to respond and happy to help she asks only for respect of her place which my family gladly gave in return. A few times I had to stay at a hotel when she was booked and boy could you tell a difference in the hotel's lack of hospitality and charm.We always would breathe easy returning to her place in a safer environment and neighborhood. Oh, and Sonic is nearby! My family will be forever grateful for her hospitality in our time of transition. This place is a gem!

Excellent stay

Very clean and comfortable stay. Nicely decorated and thoughtfulness knowing I had by dog with me. Easy arrangements and homeowner was easy to communicate with. Will be one of my go-too's in the future as available.

Cute little spot

Let me start off by saying it was a fabulous little spot. With a wonderful sunset view spot just across the road. Very clean with wonderful amenities. Easy close parking, easy entry and very safe feeling. The only minor complaint I have is the large dog barking. Being an animal lover myself, the dog's bark was resonating throughout. And quite distracting as was random. Thankfully, it did not go late into the evening, but you could hear everything in the house above and next to you.

Very easy to find, perfect spot to unwind from a stressful drive up from the Kenai Peninsula. Host was there to greet us and make sure we had everything we could possibly need. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect for a short stay for two and a dog. Fenced area is small but works well for potty breaks. Decorations for christmas were very cute and enjoyable.
