My parents grew in Denver, and we traveled from the Midwest to Colorado at least twice a year growing up to see family. My sisters and I grew up loving the mountains. After a trip with family to the top of Pikes Peak to memorialize my adventurous uncle who passed away in 2018, we kept getting pulled back to the Colorado Springs area. After three more trips to the area to enjoy the Garden of the Gods, the hike to Seven Falls, the scenic drive to Deckers through aspen meadows, and taking in the fresh mountain air - we found The Cabin in Woodland Park and decided to make Colorado a permanent destination for our family. We want others to enjoy it as well, so we hope you visit!

Walkable to the cute shops, restaurants and coffee shops of downtown Woodland Park for guest that seek adventure during the day and want quiet getaway in the evening that is close to many conveniences. We also wanted a home that felt like a get away with modern conveniences and touches. We have tried to put our personal touch on an already quaint home. We hope it makes our guests truly feel like they have escaped their hectic day-to-day lives for a bit. The mountain air and pine tree smells are just good for the soul. Don't be surprised is you see mule deer wandering through the yard!

In addition, the unique, cute and private back yard features a side yard with fire pit and deck with BBQ and dining table and a back courtyard with another deck as well as a our own unique greenhouse rock garden. Paint a rock with a memory of your vacation and leave it in our rock garden! See the rocks left by other guests!
