Excellent stay, especially under the circumstances we had come into town. Paula was phenomenal in communications.The property and home were beautiful, very clean, and well equipped. The grounds were perfect for our small pup and the distance to local restaurants were comfortably near by. As we have family living near by we hope, this will be our go to for the future.

OMG! This property deserves 100 stars! We were in town for a nearby family gathering & stayed here. Our party of five consisted of my spouse & I & three young adults (19-22yr olds). We enjoyed EVERYTHING about this property! Very spacious, comfortable beds, extra pillows/blankets in the large closets, multiple cute nooks for reading/journaling, games/books/crayons available & we especially loved the pool table for some family competitions, smart tv with variety of viewing options, & the list goes on! The coffee bar area made everyone happy & amazed at all the available choices….a great beginning to the day! Hosts left some snacks which certainly came in handy for our son’s never-ending appetite! Towels & bathroom supplies were fantastic. We didn’t have our dog with us but nice additions for those traveling with pets (saw a roll of waste bags & furniture covers available if needed). Hair dryer for each bathroom so we didn’t need to share. Great instruction book for the property. Check out was a breeze. These hosts have truly made this location a home away from home for everyone of all ages with all the special things they have available. We will be booking here again the next time we have a need in the area.

The perfect get-a-way

We had a wonderful time in Preston celebrating Parents’ Weekend. Paula is the absolute best host who answered all of our questions and gave plenty of tips for fun activities and places to eat. The home was gorgeous and offered everything needed (and so much more). From the lovely fall decor to the tasty treats waiting for us…We felt right at home during our stay, and we will definitely be back! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us, Paula. Definitely a 10-10 stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming house in Preston, CT! From the moment we arrived, everything about the property exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The backyard was equally great: spacious, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal outdoors. However, the furniture around the fire pit needs an upgrade. The neighborhood itself was quiet and welcoming, making it easy to unwind while still being close to everything. Preston is such a lovely area, with a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Mystic, CT—a vibrant nearby town filled with great restaurants, shops, and of course, the famous Mystic Seaport and Aquarium. The location also made it easy to explore local vineyards and scenic drives throughout the region.A special thank you to our host, Paula, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Communication was outstanding — Paula was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions quickly and thoroughly. They also provided fantastic recommendations for local activities, including some excellent vineyards. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Connecticut!

We found this last minute rental and it was a blessing. We had originally booked a stay someplace else and it was HORRIBLE. Luckily we found this place and were able to stay here instead. My family have loved it. It was conveniently located to everything and everywhere we were going. 10/10 recommend! Will definitely stay here next time!

Wonderful Weekend Away

The house was a wonderful home base for our long weekend in the Mystic area. The house was extremely spacious and private, everything was well stocked and the s'mores basket was wonderful. Paula was easy to communicate with and reached out multiple times to ensure that all the information was received for our stay.

clean, cozy, and quiet

Perfect spot for a quiet get away with our cadet. House was spotless. Back yard was big and private and great for our dogs and kids. Host was very welcoming. Would definitely go back.
