The space
Welcome to our cozy 4-bedroom Victorian house, ideal for families and friends. Located by a beautiful river, it blends old-world charm with modern comforts.

Inside, you'll find a spacious living room with comfy seating and a Smart TV. The dining room seats eight, perfect for meals and chats. Our fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, from a dishwasher to a coffee maker.

There's a full bathroom on the first floor for convenience. Enjoy your morning coffee or relax in the evening on the back porch, admiring the river views.

Upstairs, there are four comfy bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a KING bed. The other rooms have queen beds, suitable for various needs. A second full bathroom adds comfort and privacy.

This is a travel agent/personal review...I came to Norwich to celebrate my husband's birthday with our family. First time in Connecticut. The house was just like the pictures. Super clean and cozy. Plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked, and bathrooms were clean. The beds were super comfy. I have insomnia and I slept so well. And the shower has the best water pressure I have ever felt no lie. The hosts responded to every single message that I sent. Very pleasant and professional. The house even has a deck where you can see the Thames River. I didn't utilize because I don't do the cold, I'm a tropical girlie. I will definitely book again, and will definitely recommend to my clients.

Please check the neighborhood before you book this property. Terrible place parking situation. There seemed to be a hole in the bathroom door that was not fixed. The basement was moldy smelling. We did not spend one night.

Just right

We enjoyed staying here. It was close to Mohegan Sun which was what we were looking for since we were in the area for a volleyball tournament. It was very clean and cozy. Communication was easy with the owners. We would stay here again.

Great Place!

We had a nice time at this rental. It was clean and comfortable. Everything was easy, they even let us check in early. Communication was prompt and professional. Not an issue, but the home is on a busy road and the cars can be loud at night if you aren't used to sleeping in a city. Would definitely rent again.

Our Stay

We had a family reuniun here with our big family! It has a nice back porch, with an amazing view of the river from an elevated point. The inside is spacey, comfy, and perfect for our family to take a mini vacation. Great spots + casino 5-10 minutes away, super convenient!!! Checking in and out was simple + great neighbors

Christmas Gathering

The stay was okay. There were glitches with booking, and check in. There were things that were nice about the house but it is in need of a deep cleaning and some regular maintenance. Parking is limited, driveway is difficult to get in and out of, and not the nicest part of town. It is decent but would never stay again.

Home was clean and spacious and location conveniently located near Mohegan and my daughter’s wedding venue in Salem. The house layout was perfect for the bridal party to get ready at and capture some nice photos. Interior is spacious and nicely appointed. Outside the home is a bit misleading, though not intentionally. House is on a very busy road, so coming and going was sometimes not easy. River view from back deck is non-existent due to back yard being completely unattended to and overgrown. Kitchen set up is strange. The home was clearly a remodel for renting purposes. The kitchen remodel is poorly planned w cabinets built in front of windows (making windows impossible to lock, but likely not easily broken in through since cabinets block a large portion of 2 of them). The dishwasher was a head-scratcher as cabinet hardware impedes hatch from opening more than a few inches. It needs to be pulled partially out from under the counter in order to open the hatch enough (still not fully) to load. All and all the space was great for our renting purposes. Some things just needed some creative thinking.

Victorian Home

Beautiful Victorian house close to Mohegan. There were a lot of positives to our stays, and a couple negatives I will note. Positives: -Beautiful house -Lots of space -Overall very clean (with a couple exceptions I will note below) -Great view from the back porch -AC window units worked -Fast communication from owner Negatives: -The area the house is in is not the best. One night at 2am there was a group of men outside the house being extremely noisy for about 30 minutes. The way the sound echoed made it seem like they were right on the property. I was honestly concerned for a bit and could not sleep until they left. -It was difficult to find the house at first because the house has two different house numbers posted. -There was a pile of glass in the driveway when we first got there (looked like from a car window). We had to find a broom and sweep it up because we did not want to step in it or drive over it. -It was spring in an older home, so it's hard to control this, but we did encounter a number of bugs in the house. One being a giant centipede in the downstairs shower that really creeped out my friend. Overall, I recommend the home.

The house was amazing with the perfect amount of historical charm that we were looking for!All bedrooms are located upstairs, which made keeping an eye on the kiddos incredibly easy. The views from any of the windows is extraordinary, but the window at the top of the stairs was my personal favorite. Even though the house is located on a somewhat busier road, once inside, you are able to forget the proximity and enjoy the privacy of the home. We stayed here while watching the leaves change colors and fall from the trees....it was an incredible place to do so!
