Emmanuel was very attentive, any questions we had he would respond in a timely manner. The house was really clean and spacious more than enough space for my group. We appreciated the pots and the utilities that were there. We had a great weekend.

Our host was very communicative. We received check in instructions as expected. Parking was a challenge. The instructions said that we could park in the driveway but don’t block the alley or that there is plenty of street parking and to be aware of the street sweeper schedule. We confirmed that we were outside of the street sweeper schedule and chose street parking. The next morning we received a parking ticket- the entire road is by permit only. The host asked us to dispute the ticket, we tried but were told we must appear to do so. As we live out of state this is not possible. We were forced to pay the ticket. We asked the host to refund and have not heard back.The property itself is “ok”. You can tell that the owners took time to decorate and make the home appealing. With that being said, it needs a lot of work. One of the bedrooms has a sleeper sofa that is broken. The host did provide an air mattress but there was no bedding for it- we had to buy our own blanket. The other two rooms had beds covered with a flat sheet, there was no fitted sheet. As we slept the sheet moved all over leaving us to sleep on the mattress cover which felt less than sanitary. The dishes were dirty, the host apologized. There was no shampoo or conditioner as listed. The upstairs guests made noise all night, not the hosts fault but caused little sleep.We tried to be great guests, but we would not stay again in this home again with our family and grandmother.

Not a good experience for us

The place did not have enough Toiletries…only one toilet roll per bathroom, no shampoo n conditioners and body wash. We stayed for 4 nights n 5 days. We had to buy everything by ourselves. Every place that we had stayed in the past had atleast dishwasher detergent. There were none of those at this place. I think they neglected the purpose of why people choose Virbo instead of a hotel. So this didn’t work for us

The place was very nice and clean, especially the bathroom and kitchen area Everything was great, but the only issue I had was with the bed mattress it wasn’t very comfortable to sleep on. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay for a week

We loved our stay! It was a very comfortable and clean house for two moms and five teenagers! We appreciated the additional inflatable mattress and all the outlets to charge technology. The house was very close to two train stations for our trips into NYC. We appreciated the two different keyless entries into the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. Although the listing said the property was pet-friendly, our reservation was abruptly canceled with the host later claiming pets weren’t allowed. We were given only 1 hour to leave — with kids and during heavy rain — which was incredibly stressful and inconsiderate.We had no intention of throwing a party, as we had reserved a separate event space. While we received a noise warning two days earlier, we complied immediately and followed all rules afterward. Still, the host canceled citing the pet, which felt unfair and misleading.The entire experience lacked clarity and compassion. I wouldn’t recommend this property based on how we were treated.

Nice Getaway!!!

It met our needs, it was clean, very excessible, We host was very accomodating, if we needed anything, he was there. With a few more upgrades and he'll definitely get alot more people staying.

Took the kids to American Dream for Spring Break!! Location was very close and easy to find . Host was very responsive. Felt good to leave the noisy city when headed in for the night .

The furniture and beds were incredibly uncomfortable and cheap. If a little extra time, money, and energy were put into this place it would’ve been nice. But as it is I wouldn’t stay again.

Great Stay

I brought my kids on vacation to the American Dream Mall and this property was less than 25 minutes away. Place was very nice and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Tv's both had a ton of apps to stream on. My only suggestion is that maybe more towels and wash cloths could be left.

Home away from home!

Everything we needed was there and the host was very nice! We spent a lot of time in NYC, but it was soo nice to "come home" and recharge away from the big City.

I'll give it a thumb's up

Nice place. Quiet and convenient location, close to public transportation. Host was great. He was ready and available for anything you need. The only con for me was the parking. It's not as accessible as it seems from the listing. You can fit in the backyard but the narrow driveway between houses might be difficult depending on your vehicle. The upstairs tenants also block the driveway so you'll end up stuck either way. Host was nice enough to let us park in the grass but you have to maneuver around whoever parks in front. Not easy. Street sweeping schedule makes street parking a pain if your stay includes weekdays.

Great for a short stay!

Very nice suite, clean and spacious - enough room to move around and not be on top of each other. The beds were pretty comfortable and the bathrooms nice and big. The host was excellent! Very attentive and super responsive; the proximity to many places in NJ and NY couldn't be beat - by car or train Great trip overall!
