Gulf Beach Front: Beautiful, bright, and open, upstairs, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo. This luxurious condo has a direct view of the Gulf of Mexico from almost every room inside and from the roof top sundeck. Walk for miles on the uncrowded pristine beach where you will see dolphins, sea turtles, and manatees in the crystal blue gulf waters. Seabirds abound at this natural unspoiled paradise!
Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, your own washer and dryer, and beach chairs. On the main floor and you'll find the living room, dining area and kitchen. There are also 2 bedrooms for your guests and 2 bathrooms on the main level. Climb the interior flight of stairs to the loft containing the 3rd bedroom and 3rd bathroom, and sliding door to the private sundeck and outdoor shower.

The gulf front alcove, living and dining rooms are open-concept, a nice place for your family to get together. The condo is exquisitely furnished, all top quality. The kitchen is fully equipped with upgraded appliances. There are 2 bedrooms and bathrooms on this level for guests, each bedroom has a queen-size bed.

The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed, TV, upgraded bathroom, and a unique feature, a 'cat-walk' over to the gulf-front window. (Sorry no cats allowed.) The sundeck has an excellent view of the Gulf of Mexico and beach, and is equipped with patio furniture.

You'll meet lots of nice folks there at the beach or heated swimming pool. There are boat slips available most of the year, and they must be assigned to you by the Tamarind manager. There is a very nice clubhouse for parties, card games, pot-luck dinners, etc.

Located about a mile down the road are several nice restaurants, a convenience store, gift shop, and a boat rental shop. Drive a few miles more, maybe 3, to the mainland for grocery shopping, other dining, etc. The new Braves spring training facility is less than 15 minutes away! Sarasota is about 30 minutes north, Port Charlotte about 20 minutes to the east, Disney is about 2 1/2 hours away.

The best part of this VRBO is definitely the view and proximity to the beach. Positives:•There are plenty of bath/beach towels. •Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, etc.•Desk area was a nice plus. •Owner responded promptly when we had an issue with one of the showers.•There are more than enough hangers. •Condo is very spacious with plenty of room to hang out. •We appreciated the water spray hose at the beach. •Worked out well for each bedroom to have its own bathroom.Negatives:•Listing states there are beach chairs. There was only 1, so we had to buy more. •We had to purchase hand soap for the kitchen/bath sinks and bar soap for the showers. •There is a flight of stairs to get into the condo. There is also a flight of stairs inside the condo to get to the deck (via the loft/bedroom area)•Closets/cabinets seemed to have a lot of clutter with possibly the owner’s personal items/storage items. Would be nice for some of those things to have been in a locked closet. •There was a stale odor when we arrived (maybe had not been used for awhile?). It seemed to get better throughout our stay.

Condo Ocean View

Very nice property and we enjoyed our stay. When we arrived, the garbage was full in the kitchen so we removed it. On our last day there, the instructions from the management company instructed us to remove our garbage. We feel that when we arrived at the condo there should not have been any garbage there. Overall, it was a great experience.

Beautiful view

The place was very nice with gorgeous views of the ocean. We really enjoyed our rooftop. Close to everything. Walked every morning and that was great. The cleanliness was a little less than desired. Easy check in and checkout. We had to call office a couple times and they answered immediately.

Turquoise View

My favorite thing is the unobstructed view of the turquoise gulf. Being on the 2nd floor provided the view but also made for a strenuous workout when carrying in suitcases and groceries. The beach chairs described in the ad provided by the owner are sand chairs which sit very low. We didn’t realize this and didn’t bring our own. We went out and purchased beach chairs. The unit could use a deep clean but for beachgoers who don’t spend much time indoors, it’s fine.

Blissful Beach

We had a wonderful stay at the 3 bedroom condo. The space was divided in such a way that all had privacy, yet we could share much time together and enjoy the beautiful views of the Gulf. Location was ideal to walk downstairs and out to the beach. All needs for tv, kitchen and laundry use were met. Please note, there is a steep set of stairs to enter this upper condo. Hopefully, the hurricane affected restaurants and businesses nearby will soon re-open. The damage has been horrific to many. Our condo owners responded quickly to any questions asked. The local management was also helpful. We will be back.

Ideal Location!

The beach is not crowded, the rooftop patio is ideal for sunsets. Nice to be able to walk to quite a few restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and glasses. There are plenty of towels and a few beach chairs which was nice. The house was clean with the exception... the floors need a deep clean, perhaps with a steam mop. However, after a day in that beautiful spot that wasn't much of an issue. Nice to have the use of the pool for exercising or on windy beach days.

We first came to Manasota Key in the early 1990's and fell in love with this beach and this laid back little fishing town called Englewood. We spent countless hours collecting all sorts of sharks teeth and shells on the beach, watching dolphin from the shore , and even observing the sea turtles nesting and laying eggs at night. During "turtle season " we love to join the turtle patrols on the beach looking for tracks that come out of the water and then observing from a distance as the great turtles dig their nest and lay their eggs. If you are very lucky you might even catch the nest hatching and get to watch the babies find their way to the ocean! We fish on the beach catching flounder, whitefish, Spanish mackerel, snook, tarpon, pompano, among others. Sometimes we take a small catamaran and sail up and down the beach, occasionally having dolphin swim right with us for a time! We love the laid back feel of this town, and have always been delighted to find good quality food in the local hot spots. All in all Manasota key is a great island to visit
We live in northwest Georgia , about a 9 hour drive to our beach house! We spent 30 years searching for a place on the beach to call our own , looking at a lot of places closer to home but could never find just the right spot. We have been to a lot of beaches from South Carolina to the Alabama coast, to the Georgia coast and the Florida panhandle , all of which are a shorter drive for us and would be easier access, but nothing really said home to us. Then , a few years ago, we ventured again to Manasota Key, this time with our 3 grown children , and we knew this place had to be our home away from home. We all love to fish, scuba dive, kayak, paddle board, sail, motor boat, watch the gorgeous sunsets and fall asleep listening to the ocean waves. It has been our greatest joy to share this special place with family and close friends for the last few years, and now we look forward to sharing it with you!

The beauty of the ocean and the laid back Florida vibe in Englewood has been irresistible to us! The fishing is amazing both inshore and offshore , and on the beach. The turtle nests and hatching grounds are everywhere and offer incredible opportunities to witness some of natures great spectacles!
